Surprisingly good--I thought it would be way too sweet but it was nicely balanced. Quiet and cozy, with not a lot of seating but it was all full on a Monday afternoon. Average NYC coffee prices, and I wouldn't have been surprised if it had been a little more expensive (maybe fifty cents, but the prices make it more likely I'd be back).

We stopped here for a quick brunch, and thought it was a really solid little place. I really liked my pesto caprese, and the coffee was good. The portions were large for the price too, which is a plus. The interior was pretty small, but clean. We enjoyed sitting outside and people watching. Everything came out fairly quickly for how busy they were, and staff was nice.

Pros: atmosphere, location, sitting, menu options Cons: no WiFi Small location that nevertheless delivers big on vibes. It was a single person behind the counter and she handled all the orders fast and perfectly. I tried the iced "choco chai" and it was delicious. I almost went for the caramel version. They also have some sandwiches that looked pretty good. I wouldn't mind stopping here again, especially with the old 1920s music playing softly and the tables that let you sit and write, read or whatever else you want to do

I visited NYC for the first time a little while ago and I stopped by to check this place out based on reviews after hunting for good coffee and feeling super overwhelmed by all the choices. Safe to say it did not disappoint!! It was a tiny but cute cafe, the baristas were super friendly, and I tried their very yummy Chai Coco :)

Charming. I missed my class and decided a hot bevy was in order and stumbled across this gem. The chai was beautifully made and frothy. Vibes are chill and it's perfect for a moment of peace.

I don't remember ever having such a delicious coffee before! This café really specializes in coffee. You can feel the freshness and quality of the coffee from the first sip. The baristas are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and they prepare each coffee with great care. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the perfect place to catch up with friends or work alone. The variety on the menu is also quite impressive; there is definitely a coffee to suit every taste.

So after having lunch in New York's Chinatown and taking a stroll through little Italy, we took a…read moresubway ride to New York's K-Town or aka as Korea Town. Upon arrival we noticed the difference in crowds. Not as busy and packed sidewalks. Also it was a lot cleaner than Chinatown. Since we just ate at C-Town, it was time to find a good dessert place in K-Town. So we walked and we walked until I saw a banner sign showing shaved ice desserts. Then I noticed the name of the business is Grace Street. How fitting, because that is my wife's name. So we went in and what caught my eye was a mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, strawberries, and condensed milk, however I was over ruled by my wife and we went with the black sesame and mochi and condensed milk. It also had red bean, but that had to be on the side, since that gives me gout. Such nice staff taking orders and we went into the dining area to find a seat. What a large spacious area with many tables. Our order came out and it looked so good. The black sesame shaved ice or snow as it's also referred to as, was perfectly sweetened by the condensed milk and the chewy mochi. Definitely cleaned my pallet from our Chinese lunch and it helped cool me down from the New York heat. We got water, but there was no ice offered, so I asked one of the workers and he was kind enough to get me some. We are through that dessert like, if we didn't finish it fast, it was going to melt. We did not give it a chance to melt one bit. The staff here are efficient, as they saw we were done, they asked to clear our dessert bowl away. It was a nice experience even if it was just dessert. They definitely had more dessert options to offer, but i

The generous serving had creamy, silky layers and was easily enough for the two of us to share. Sweet, light, and refreshing. Plenty of seating, generous portions, and a stop here never disappoints! Located on 32nd St, between Broadway & 5th Ave Train: 34 St-Herald Sq (N/Q/R/W); also an easy walk from Penn Station. Overall, a great casual dessert stop after exploring K-Town, Midtown or nearby Chelsea.

We worked with Eric via email and he was great managing and making sure everything was settled ahead of the event. On the day of our lunch, we arrived around 20 minutes early and the table was already set up. We had two servers throughout the meal and they were lovely. They made sure everything was set up and we had everything we needed. For a large group reservation, they have a $60 minimum and you order everything ahead of time. (The afternoon tea set is mandatory for everyone to get). We had the afternoon tea set, caprese tarts and strawberry parfait for all attendees. The food was filling and tasty. Tea is always so good as well (I always get my Rose Lovers Milk Tea!) All in all, a great option for a group reservation in the city!

We got the Ube Crepe Cake and Chocolate Lava Cake. The size of both were the perfect amount since we just wanted something small to end the night. The ube crepe cake was really light and creamy. The ube flavor was pretty subtle, and I mostly tasted the cream. It's a perfect light dessert, but I would've liked the ube flavor to be stronger. The chocolate lava cake was super rich and decadent but also really delicious. I feel like it kinda battled with the ube crepe cake since they're total opposites. The staff were friendly. The interior was really cute and had a relaxing type of atmosphere that made it great for a nice place to sit, chat, and have dessert.
