They serve all of your traditional southern breakfast foods at a super reasonable price. Their biscuits and gravy and especially delicious. The service is super sweet and everyone is very friendly. If you are a person of color DO NOT COME HERE!!! I felt so uncomfortable here. No one was enforced to wear masks. The staff did but they didn't even wear them correctly. We're were the only people of color here and all eyes were on us. Everyone, even the staff kept starring at us. We ordered, the food was ok. We left early because of the people around us making comments about us. Also, when we asked for the bill the waitress passive aggressively took our plates. We walked out to the car and noticed a truck with White Supremacy Lives Matter sign on the back. It's was one of the scariest things I've ever experienced. Wife and I wanted a late breakfast on a Saturday...which around here usually means a crowd when the students are in...and they are. So took a chance on the Koffee Kup, a small family-run place just off 460 near Timberlake. Parking lot packed, but we found a spot. Inside, two benches of folks waiting to be seated. Hmmm. Put our name in the list and sat down. I was going to give it ten minutes, but it just took 5 to get a table. Service was spot on, the country gravy, eggs and sausage and butter-rimmed grits...YUM. And we got serves fast. Everyone had a smile. And when it came time to pay the bill, I smiled to see my credit card was not going to take much of a hit at all. Koffee kup is definitely cheap. You can get enough food to keep you going for 6 hours with just 5 dollars. Having said that, this place is just that. This place is a little restaurant that you would drive by 10 times before noticing that it was even there but once you find out about it, you realize what you were missing. My experience with them was good, food is pretty good, simple southern breakfast food you can't go wrong with, I ordered French toast w/ bacon and the hubby ordered a double order of biscuits and gravy. The French toast was fairly thin for the french toast that I'm used to at least, I assumed they used regular sliced bread instead of Texas toast, overall it was pretty good cooked at the way. Koffee Kup it's probably one of my favorite restaurants in all of Forest. I've been dining at this fine establishment ever since I wore diapers.
