    Busy joint

Came to this popular Restaurant on Saturday morning, which may not have been a good idea. I was blown away by the crowd and a 20-minute wait. The place is relatively small so not sure how they are squeezing so many people in there. But seems to work! The wait staff were fantastic but seemed crazy busy! If you ordered coffee, your cup will be left half full. I noticed the waitresses, without even asking kept filling even half a cup. Ordered my own custom omelet, homestyle fries, and toast. They gave me plenty of toasts, I think 6 or 7 slices. Anyways it was delicious and tasty in every sense of the word! Loved the homestyle feel of this place. The prices were comparatively very fair! Highly recommend this place! Hope to come back again someday soon!

This restaurant is an oasis in the desert. The omelette was great, service was like I was eating in my mama's kitchen and the coffee was better than Starbucks. I felt like I was at Cheers. Everyone knew each other but treated a newcomer like family. A surprise find in Lynchburg and highly recommended.

Every time I come it's excellent. I never get the "sandwiches" because this place does breakfast really well. I have seen the burgers and was not impressed but that's not the point of this place. Its a 5 star cheap breakfast great service koffee kup always full kind of place. All the wait staff is excellent. There is one server that always says "I hope I can make your day better" she always delivers. I can get 2 eggs potatoes and a biscuit for under $5 and add a 3rd egg for 0.95. It's only set back is the coffee isn't exceptional or strong.

Best place in our area for breakfast and sharing life over a cup of coffee with a friend.

Mediocre service and mediocre food. Questionably clean. Only takes cash (at least every time I've been there).

Hole in the wall local place that serves a good and classic breakfast. They don't take credit cards which is a bit annoying.

The issue was, I was asking the guy upfront if they take Apple Pay and talking pretty close to his face during that due to it being loud around us. He had the opportunity then to refuse to take my payment for "smelling like alcohol" yet he took my payment, took my friends' payments, and then only kicked me out allowing the others to stay. So I pulled out the trusty Yelp app to see if there might be something interesting to try in the area. I landed on a well rated Peruvian fast-casual place called Colca's Chicken and decided to stop in. This is a newer building, but the layout is a little odd in the sense that all parking is around the side and back, and because of the topography, you have to walk around to the road-side to get in. Only really pertinent if you are a person with mobility issues, fine by me. The style is fast casual, and they offer anything from simple sandwiches, to monster burritos, and entree platters. I saw someone getting a burrito and it looked really good, so I went for the "Colca"s Chicken burrito" which came with Marinated Chicken, Peruvian Fried Rice, Peruvian Chickpeas, Queso Fresco, Peruvian Onions, Cilantro, Pico de Gallo, Guacamole, Roasted Peruvian Corn, traditional Peruvian Aji Yellow Sauce. Sorry for all those caps, i copy pasted from their website. First thing... what a monster. There was so much protein and fillings in this thing that the guy making mine completely failed to roll it properly. Just wasnt possible. He did his best but a big tear opened up in the side. I told him it was OK, and he just wrapped it over with foil. I was able to eat about half before grabbing a fork and having the rest more like a bowl. Honestly though, it was so big, a little more than half was all I wanted. I wish I could say I enjoyed all of it thoroughly, but one of the elements, the roasted corn, made it difficult. The corn was so over-roasted that all the kernels were hard. It was nearly like biting into a popcorn kernel, but thankfully, they did break apart once you bit in. Whenever I hit some, it was unpleasant. Once I got in with a fork, I did my best ot separate them out, but kept hitting some. I also wasn't a huge fan of the garbanzo beans. I would know better on both items for next time. In general though, with that knowledge, I think my next experience would be better, if I get that chance. Seems like a great local place to go for an interesting meal.

They apparently didn't have any pickles or didn't bother to include one (i do not care which) and since they didn't "charge me" for the pickle it's fine to just not include it and not tell me it wasn't included. Since the sandwich was a soggy ugly mess and contained ingredients I'm allergic to, i wasted $20 and ate a bag of lays potato chips for lunch. The sandwich is stinking up my trash can as we speak. I guess they call it Zero subs for a reason because i would give this place 0/10. I'm upgrading to a 3 because even though Waitr was unwilling to help, i spoke to a supervisor at the shop and he was very nice and offered to refund me since I couldn't eat the food.
