Oddly enough, my dog had scratched my eye that same morning, and while I was there I asked if there was any chance someone could take a look at it, even though I had never been a patient before. Without hesitation, they welcomed me in and took such incredible care of me. I truly cannot describe the level of warmth and hospitality in this office. From the moment I checked in with Pam and Delia, I felt so welcomed. Robert checked on me while I waited, asked thoughtful questions, and even asked about my beloved dog, the culprit behind my scratched eye, which immediately made the experience feel so personal. Then there was Veronica, who triaged me and somehow made that part of the visit genuinely FUN. I apologize to anyone in the lobby if my laughter was echoing out of the treatment room! She was an absolute joy. And finally, Dr. Bradley Richlin was exceptional. I scheduled and paid for a contact lens exam, expecting the exam to be performed before being fitted for contact lenses. Instead, I was immediately taken into a room and given trial contact lenses based solely on my eyeglasses prescription. When I asked whether an exam would be performed first, I was told it was not necessary because my glasses prescription would be used. After trying approximately five different pairs of contacts, I repeatedly explained that I still could not see clearly. I was eventually sent home with a pair and told that my eyes would "adjust" throughout the day. While speaking with the front desk, I politely asked questions about the contact lens process because my previous experiences at other offices had always included an exam before fitting contacts. The owner overheard the conversation and came out appearing visibly upset. She then offered to perform the exam, saying, "We have time now," but only after hearing me question the process. At that point, I felt uncomfortable and no longer confident in the care I was receiving. As a paying customer, I believe I have every right to ask questions and understand the services I am receiving. No patient should feel intimidated for seeking clarification about their care. After leaving, my eyes became extremely itchy and very red. When I checked one of the contact lens samples I had been given, I discovered it had expired in January 2025--approximately 17 months ago. I contacted the office to request a refund and asked that my vision insurance not be billed. Unfortunately, I later learned that the person involved was the owner, so there was no higher management to address my concerns. The entire experience left me upset and in tears. I cannot recommend this office based on my experience and would encourage others to ask questions and carefully review any contact lenses they are given before wearing them.

The display of eyewear consists of designer brands and other high quality designs mostly from Japan. When it comes to eye glasses I need prescription, as I am near sighted. All my glasses need to be modified to my prescription so I always end up paying 4 times as much in addition to the already expensive frames. Today while window shopping, I noticed some aviator frames which I will need to try on and get more information. This shop is clean, bright and well organized. The male sales person was nice and offered to help, but I was not quite ready to make a purchase without touching, trying it on, and during COVID, it's a challenge we'll have to 'see' how it plays out.

Today I had my much needed and long awaited eye exam. My eyes have been bothering me for quite a…read morewhile now so off I went. The store itself is beautiful. Big open space right on Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood. The staff are very friendly and helpful. After filling out a short form I was called in (early) Dr. Tiffany Li the optometrist took me back into the comfortable exam room and ran me through the various tests (I.e vision, pressure etc.) She has an amazing personality and made the whole thing pleasant. Along the way she answered my questions and explained everything fully. After, the front desk manager sat me down and went over all the pricing and options. As I know and expected it is very expensive. But, for something this important that isn't a great shock. Hence, I wasn't able to select my glasses today but will in several weeks when able. I highly recommend.
