I have tried their products multiple times at Yelp events and experiences and I finally made a visit today to find some fun desserts following lunch elsewhere. An employee greeted us and asked whether we wanted to order to-go or dine-in. We opted for the latter so that we could enjoy our treats immediately while escaping from the heat outside. A3. Strawberry Mango Juice Sago & Lychee Jelly w/ Mango Ice Cream ($9.50): a delightful treat with freshly diced strawberries and mango, some liquid form of mango, the soft sago balls, and the crunchy lychee jelly. The Mango Ice Cream was a little tough to cut through even with the metal spoon until it thawed for a few minutes, but it did bring richness to the bowl. S3. Green Tea Mille Crepe Cake ($10.25): it must've taken at least 20 layers of soft, thin crepes with layers of matcha cream, which explains the price. The flavors are more subtle in this than in the prior dessert, but I appreciated them more after acclimating for a few bites. This is definitely a great option for palates accustomed to lower sweetness. Our server also was nice enough to provide water, although without offering refills, provide more utensils (forks), and check on us a few times. The dining area is well-lit and gratuitously pink, and the music is more R&B leaning in the pop spectrum. They offer one attempt per person per bill to try to stop a timer at exactly 10 seconds to earn a free item; sadly, I was off by just a few hundredths. There are chicken and vegetable versions of momo, and this really makes this shop stand out because where else can you get some good boba and momo?!
