A very cute place for a date night. Sushi is not bad either. Service was amazing and valet is available right outside. My favorite dish was the special- steamed Chilean Seabass. We tried: Yellowtail Amberjack sashimi Japanese snapper sashimi Hamachi Chili and Seabass Sizzling halibut

Great place for a date night or a birthday party. Koi is delicious and I recommend getting a bunch of items and splitting it. The service and food are always great. Will be back soon!

Everything was delicious from the moment the food arrived. Every dish felt fresh, well prepared, and full of flavor. You can really tell that attention is put into the ingredients and the way everything is presented. The service was also excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of without making us feel rushed. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxed night out. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, making it a great place to sit, enjoy your meal, and spend time talking without feeling hurried. Everything together created a really enjoyable experience. Overall we had a great time and truly enjoyed the entire evening. It is always nice to find a place where the food, service, and atmosphere all come together so well. I will definitely be coming back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to eat and have a pleasant night out.

5* Food 4* Drinks/Coctails 4.5* Service 5* Ambiance I returned to this restaurant after many years and was pleasantly surprised to experience the same high quality of taste and ingredients. The decor has been upgraded and the ambiance makes for a fun night. I appreciated the generous cuts and portions of everything we ordered. A full bar and signature coctails was a better choice for us as their sake selection is limited. My most favorite fish item ordered was the salmon carpaccio with a generous serving of truffles swimming in a ponzu sauce. Each bite was a piece of heaven. Don't miss out on the peppercorn filet mignon with shishito potato mash. Again, the portions were generous, the steak melted in my mouth and perfectly prepared which paired perfectly with the creamy mash. Our favorite roll was the Aka with spicy tuna, avocado, arugula topped with seared tuna and soy. Layers of flavor and texture, it was the most flavorful roll we ordered. The Kirro roll with albacore, cucumber, tempura flakes and yellowtail was more beautiful in presentation than taste; however, I appreciated the subtle blend of flavors.

Over the course of this dinner we asked for like 6 things of ginger, which easily might be one of the new silliest things I've done, but it was yummy! Miso cod was my favorite dish. Honestly, I was a fan that it was such a nice big piece of cod and it was cooked perfectly and it came out HOT so I was such a fan. The vegetables on the dish were so incredibly bland though to the point where the dish would've been better if they weren't there. Lobster tacos were very small and light, but delicious. Very fresh lobster! Spicy Yellowtail ceviche was good, but honestly in hindsight had a little too much going on flavor wise, but the kick of spice was nice. I got the steak and yellowtail crispy rices, but I couldn't really taste the steak (it kinda blended in with the rice taste for me I'm not sure why). I did like the yellowtail crispy rice though and honestly those were also served so hot I was a fan and I loved that the rice wasn't too chewy or burnt like crispy rice can be. Cucumber salad was fine, but the mountain is deceiving since it is a lot smaller in person lol. Would go back for the cod and to try the sweet potato roll!

Came here for the first time on 01/10/26 for a girl's night dinner and we were blown away. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a very welcoming hostess who brought us to our seats. Which were, by the way, the cutest shade of pastel pink that were perfect for photos if you are into that sort of thing. Especially with the bar in the background giving a hot pink vibrancy to the surrounding area. The lighting in here is very dim and warm, which is one of my favorite things in restaurants. It made everything feel super cozy. We ordered a Sea Bass Tempura Roll and the Koi Crispy Rice to share. To be honest, the proportions were really small but the food was DEFINITELY delicious! I was genuinely in love with the texture of these two dishes because personally, I am a crunchy food girlie so I could not get enough of the Koi Crispy Rice. And of course, I loved the Sea Bass Tempura Roll for the same reason.

Trendy Japanese fusion spot in West Hollywood that has a cool vibe and good selection of sushi. The service was friendly and attentive as well. My favorite dishes were the Aka Roll and the Filet Mignon dishes. The Aka Roll had spicy tuna and topped with more! The Filet Mignon was served with mashed potatoes and was super flavorful and filling. I enjoyed the Flourless Molten Lava Cake too! Decadent and delish!!

We went here for dinner. We were a bit late and we called and let them know. When we got there, we waited about 15 min and we had to sit in the patio bcs in the main room they said they couldn't accommodate since we were late . We agreed but the vibe in the main room is much more lively. Anyway we ordered spicy edemame (4/5) salmon truffle carpaccio (5/5) yellowtail wonton (3/5) she's so LA (4/5) lobster roll with mango (4/5) but my most fav roll were Aka and Kiiro (5/5) Service was good and attentive . I liked my lychee martini (5/5) it was really strong the way I like it . My friend didn't like her white wine and the prosecco was tasting really bitter. I wish they had better selection of wines.

Enjoyed a nice Saturday dinner with family at Koi, which I was being introduced to, and needless to say I had a great time. The food was delicious, but the overall vibe of the place was great. The staff was super on top of it in providing fresh plates, refilling water glasses and cocktails, new chopsticks, etc. My favorite meal was probably close between the Ribeye bites and the Sunfire Roll (not shown). Definitely great for intimate dates/dinner and I surely will be back.

    She's So LA
    Karine M.

Absolutely obsessed with Koi. The miso black cod was unreal, the yellowtail crispy rice was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the "She's So LA" roll might honestly be one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. Every single dish was fresh, high quality, and so well balanced. What really sets this place apart though is the service, hands down the best service I've experienced anywhere in LA! The staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and made the entire experience feel special from start to finish. Already can't wait to come back!

WOW! Talk about a restaurant that exceeded my expectations! I had heard about this restaurant and when I looked it up, it seemed like a really nice Japanese restaurant to try. While I hate the area it's located in, the restaurant made it worth the drive! From its beautiful decor and setting to the very attentive service you receive and last but not least, the amazing quality in food, this place is not to be missed! All the dishes I ordered were 10/10. One of the stand out dishes for me was DEFINITELY the Lobster Tacos! Holy cow those are awesome! I almost ordered more that's how much I loved this dish! Another element that stood out was the quality of sushi fish. Honestly, it's right up there alongside places like Nobu. While it is an expensive restaurant, that was expected so if price is an issue for you, this is not a place for you. I will definitely return!

First time here, for a friend's birthday. We chose this place because of their extensive vegan menu, which the vegan in our group rated taste-wise pretty good, but not great. The cod was delicious and cooked well, and the drinks were also standouts because they were good pours. Our server was also super sweet, I think her name was Emily? She was attentive and had helpful suggestions. That being said, I would return, but I've definitely been to better sushi/Japanese restaurants in the area, especially for the price point.

Came for the dinela experience and had a wonderful time. It's very dimly lit inside. Lots of Thai looking decorations. *DINELA EXPERIENCE* It was a LOT of food, definitely took leftovers home. - Lychee Cocktail 5/5 WOW. Its strong and lychee flavor is strong. Very nice. - Salmon Carpaccio 3.7/5 Very very thin slices of salmon on a bed of ponzu, it was on the saltier side. - Avocado crispy rice & Salmon crispy rice 2.2/5 Thought these were just OK. - fish on little crackers 2.8/5 Fun to eat, fish was fresh. A lot of sauce. - Roll with spicy tuna? (See pic for reference) 3.9/5 This roll was delicious. The fish tasted fresh. - Baked crab roll 2.1/5 Comes wrapped in soy paper. I personally thought it was mixed with too much sauce. - Miso Cod 4.7/5 The veggies were over blanched/overcooked but the cod was tender and delicious. Slightly salty again, while the veggies had no flavor. - Steak with Mashed potatoes 1.9/5 Did not like the sauce at all. It was very salty. Ribeye was cooked well, but the whole dish was just SO heavy. - Chocolate dessert & cheesecake Too sweet, too chocolately. Valet

Do they have gluten free soy sauce?

    Yes

Is this an Iranian owned restaurant?

    Looks like Tehran.

Hi, I see it's not good for kids but I was wondering if I can come in with kids during day time when it's not that busy? My kids love sea food and I want to bring them here once.kids are 2 and 5?…

We've taken our 2 year old there on a mid-weekday for dinner, but he is very well behaved at restaurants. The restaurant really is for adults and it would be inappropriate for squeaky kiddos to distract people from their fine dining experience.

I am thinking of booking with about 40 people. Is it possible?

They can definitely do 40, there are so many different spaces that can accommodate guest. Give them a call and try to speak with a manager so you can discuss your needs and availability. Ps. Get the creamy rock shrimp and the yellowtail 🤤

    How much is valet parking?

Hi Derek. Valet is $10 per car. There is street parking available but please make sure you read the signs well. The city is very strict with the parking situation. I hope this helps.

I won't be ordering this dish again. I took half home, cut up the soybean fish and added it to a stew. I didn't mention to my server that it was my bday, but was disappointed that he didn't even offer like regular servers do, "Would you like to see the dessert menu?" I didn't tell him it was my bday nor did I ask for the dessert menu bc I wasn't the one paying the bill. Not that I needed dessert, but it would've been nice to have been asked. When I mentioned this to another server who came by to clear our table that our server didn't even ask if we wanted dessert and that the restaurant doesn't seem to want to push its desserts, he quickly brought us a dessert menu, but my friend was already paying our bill - too late! It would've been nice to be asked earlier. I even had candles in my bag just in case we got dessert. Anyway, this server said he'll tell our server about not offering dessert. The next day I came back with another friend after a Music Center event. My server from the day before recognized me. We had mint and lemon water for both meals. $12 parking in the adjacent structure. Free parking passes at the Music Center if you're a season ticket holder or good luck with finding street parking. I'd still continue to occasionally patronize this restaurant when I have Music Center events bc I want to support veganism, the restaurant; however, I was disappointed with some of the food and waitstaff this weekend. He's vegan, and I'm currently following a plant based diet, so it seemed like a perfect fit. We actually found the restaurant after looking on the app InKind (highly recommend btw!), specifically for places with vegan food. They have a parking lot on the side of the building. Not many spaces but grateful for the option! They have seating outside and inside, and I guess inside is both "restaurant" or "dining room." Not sure the difference, but we sat at a table close to the window which was nice. The inside decor is really cute. Beautiful string lights, cookware on the walls, and there was even an old movie playing on a projector. It felt pretty authentic and adorable. Servers were very attentive. We had Adi and he was really sweet. We were brought water right away. And they serve fresh vegan focaccia bread with a DELICIOUS pesto sauce before your meal. Honestly, that pesto is something I want to take home and drink. So good. We decided to both order from the vegan menu. When else can you get fresh vegan Italian?! We got their version of vegan carpaccio as an appetizer. Which was oddly turkey based? (Vegan of course). But truly one of the most unexpectedly yummy things I've had in awhile. The mayo type sauce on it was delicious. The lettuce and capers were a great touch. And it had some sort of mustard stuffed olives that I could eat forever. My fiancé got the lasagna as a main. And I got the pesto spaghetti. Ironically I ended up liking the lasagna more and he liked the spaghetti so we swapped haha. Both were delicious. As someone who isn't vegan and loves meat and cheese, I can confidently say that lasagna was one of the best I've had in so long. At the end they treated him to a delicious small vegan ganache cake and a birthday candle. It was simple and appreciated. The only negatives I have is that the wine was pretty pricey for the bottles they had. And even though I requested a booth (they had several open), and mentioned the birthday in the reservation, I had to repeatedly mention the birthday, and we got seated at a table. HIGHLY recommend the thousand layer potato's and spicy lumaconi

We had the crispy rice, nachos with beef added on top, and the vodka pizza which is one of my favorite vegan pizzas to date. We also got the noodles (non spicy ones) and the brownie with ice cream OMG, amazing. Our waiter, cannot remember his name unfortunately, was fantastic. Very attentive and gave great suggestions. Overall, 10/10, will definitely be back!!

The chicken stays crispy for a long time and reheats nicely as leftovers. Everything we've ordered is really good and crave-worthy. We got the lucky catsu, curry catsu, crispy shrimp, spam masubi, catsu masubi, orange chicken, crispy chicken. Top two favorites are lucky and curry catsu. Small things I'd personally wish to change is that the onion is too strong in the macaroni salad. Wish it wasn't in there period. And the rice is a little on the dryer side and it sticks to the container- so when you scrape up the last bits of rice, you could be eating the paper from the container. I like that they use compostable containers though!! But yeah the rice is on the harder side especially as leftovers. But whatever, their main items are bomb and makes me not care about anything else. Service is quick! Note: it is not a sit down restaurant. You order (ahead) and park on the street and call them to let them know you're outside. They'll bring the food out. Reception isn't great outside fyi. I've been here 3 times and never last long enough to get a photo before digging in. There are two other vegan restaurants right next to it, same concept - order and pick up. Great for different options if one is craving Mexican from Cena or hot dogs from All franks.

To be very honest, I love this place so much. I am currently sad because they are not open. I've…read morebeen looking every day to see when they will open back up from the macaroni to the spam. Anything that you get here is good.

The cafe itself is beautiful and cozy, and the whole team was incredibly kind. Our server honestly made the experience even better. He was so friendly and genuinely excited about the menu, took the time to explain everything, and gave us great recommendations based on what we were in the mood for. You could tell he really cared about making people have a good experience. The food and coffee were amazing, super flavorful and satisfying without feeling too heavy. It ended up being one of our favorite stops during our trip. Huge thank you to everyone there for making our day so special.

Everything was spotless, calm, and full of genuinely lovely people. The service was so warm I briefly considered asking if I could move in. I ordered a latte, the Caesar tempeh wrap, and a bowl -- and somehow every single bite tasted like it had been blessed by woodland fairies with culinary degrees. Flavor? Absolutely out of this world. But the BEST part? The names of the dishes. "I Am Well," "I Am Grateful," "I Am Light"... and when your server brings your food they lovingly announce: "You are well." Honestly, being affirmed by a stranger while handed organic vegan food healed at least 37% of my problems. I came for lunch and accidentally left spiritually moisturized. If you want delicious fully vegan organic food, positive vibes, and the experience of being gently complimented by your salad, this place is IT.

I've only been to one other vegan butcher shop in my life (Las Vegas) and I did not like it one bit, but I am really glad I decided to give this place a shot. I'm a sucker for chicken parm sandwiches so when I saw that on the menu I knew it was the best bet to fill me up and make me happy. I ended up ordering that as well as some french fries on the side and it was a decision that I would absolutely not regret. My friend and I drove to pick the food up and by the time we got back, the food was still pretty hot and ready to eat. The chicken parm sandwich itself was hands down one of the best chicken parm sandwiches I have ever had, vegan or not vegan. The "chicken" inside tasted so good, so shoutout to the breading, cheese, and sauce mixed in because this thing was absolutely fantastic. The french fries on the side were very good as well, nothing to really talk about regarding them, but good fries are good fries. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Maciel's Plant-Based Butcher Shop and can't wait to come back again. The food here was so dang good and even though it took me a few weeks to write this review, it's making me want to go back ASAP. Come check this place out yourself!

My dining companions loved their sandwiches as well. Business is booming; we visited for a weekday lunch and orders were flying out the door. Service was a tiny bit slow, as the restaurant was so busy; but it's also a good sign that everything was fresh. I'm only a part-time vegan but even if I were a complete carnivore, I'd visit again. It's that delicious! Casual indoor/outdoor dining. Small parking lot and street parking available.
