My first time at Koibito Poke and I'm honestly blown away. From the moment I walked in, I noticed how clean everything was. It was spotless. The tables were so clean you could literally see the reflection off of them. That alone stood out immediately. Dean helped me with my order and his service was top tier. He was cleaning when I came in and after taking my order he went right back to working instead of standing around. He was very patient, took his time, and really listened to what I needed. I told him I wanted something specific, light but filling for a workout, and he gave thoughtful recommendations that ended up creating the perfect bowl. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I needed. I was also unsure about what sauce to get and Heavenly recommended two sauces for me to try together. I mixed them myself and it ended up being the perfect combination for my bowl and really brought everything together. They both stayed attentive the entire time, even as more customers came in, making sure everyone was acknowledged without ever making me feel overlooked. That balance is rare. The food is fresh, the store is incredibly clean, and the team is clearly hardworking and knowledgeable. Whoever the manager or owner is should feel extremely confident in this team because their work ethic clearly shows they care about the business and the company and are exceeding expectations. This wasn't even a planned stop. I just came in while driving. Because of this experience I will absolutely be back and I'm bringing my husband next time because he would love this place. 10 out of 10. I highly recommend this spot. read more

With so many ingredients competing, the fish gets completely lost. And when I did find it... it wasn't cold. Poke is raw fish. It has to be cold. That's non-negotiable. I've spent most of my life in the Pacific Islands, so I know what fresh poke tastes like -- and this missed the mark on the fish quality. This is Las Vegas, with a large Hawaiian and Pacific Islander community that knows the difference. I feel for this place because the bones are there. I've tried Kiobito three separate times, and each visit left me genuinely disappointed. The fish and vegetables often appear as though they haven't been stored at the proper temperature, and the color of the ingredients has been concerning. They also don't offer basics that many poke spots carry, such as cream cheese, tempura options, or furikake. On my most recent order, the rice was undercooked and had a firm, almost al dente texture, which suggested it was either under-watered or had been sitting out too long. While the cashier was friendly and provided good service, the food quality simply doesn't justify the very high prices. Hey Las Vegas Foodies! My hubby has brought this home to me before and it was yum. This was my first time here. I enjoy being able to customize everything I want in my bowl. I had spicy crab and spicy tuna, a little white rice on greens. Everything is fresh! The gal that helped us was funny and super friendly. They have a couple tables inside so you can eat in or you can take to go. They have disposable chopsticks or forks. You can get drinks and mochi there, as well. I brought my own tea from next door. The big difference of this poke place is that they let you pick as many toppings (veggies) as you want! Not bad for the price compared to other places. The fish isn't the freshest, but for what you get for the price, I'd say you can squeeze by pretty well. read more

The bowls I get are always delicious and it hurts me to give less than 5 stars because of how often o order from here. But the last 3 times I've ordered delivery, my bowl is missing a main ingredient that I have paid extra for. My mom wanted poke but we were busy and by the time we could go pick up, it was almost closing time at our fave place. I wanted salmon and I knew it would be out (Saturday near closing is a bad time) so we decided to look for another place in our immediate area. We go to the Starbucks next door sometimes so we decided to stop by Koibito Poke, now that it's open. I was very worried about the bad reviews and the low Yelp rating but I figured I'd try it for myself. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was and shocked at the bad reviews. The price is pretty high but I don't think that they short you. It's very clear you pay for the amount of protein you get. They use 2oz (black) scoops and a scale. And not to narc him out, but the person helping us was very generous with the scoops. Once you have your base and protein, you can put as many toppings as your heart desires, and there are plenty of them. Honestly, we all had a hard time finishing our larges and will not be getting a bowl that big again. There are some things that I do agree with in the bad reviews. The person helping us was extremely monotone and didn't seem to care to be there at all but I'm not trying to make new friends here, I'm trying to get a poke bowl made, which he did very well. I didn't quite understand how things went but I asked questions and he answered them. It was pretty easy. I do agree that the bowl can be a little bland, especially since the "sauces" I got were just the two aioli but I just added a bit of shoyu at home and it was perfect. Also, the rice was bit hard on half of my bowl but it wasn't inedible. We are definitely coming back here as we found the pricing good, the place is clean as a whistle and we like all the toppings. read more

I consider myself a poke bowl connoisseur. This was my third visit to Koibito. Nice staff. Their fish has a decent taste, but could use some help. However, the bowl is 95 percent rice. Paina Cafe for instance, will give their customers 50/50 of the protein/fish. The skimping on the fish at Koibito is obvious. For $16, a bowl of rice isn't worth it. Especially as the flavors are lacking as well. I was hoping Koibito would make up for the last visit, but it appears the quantity has dropped significantly. read more

I opted for a small build your own bowl and babes had the large build your own. I chose salmon and Hawaiian tuna and babes chose spicy tuna, salmon, hawaiian tuna, and spicy crab. The fish was most definitely fresh and the toppings were all tasty! Soo much to choose from. I really like the wasabi aoli sauce. Finally opened right next to Starbucks and Henderson Hospital. Tried this place out during my lunch break and they have discounts for first responders which is 10% off. They're pricing is pretty good. They have different sizes depending how you're feeling. Lots of options, and the best part is the sides. It all comes with the bowl and no additional cost. They had some technical difficulties at check out but it worked out. Hey, it's a new store so of course it's a trial in error. Seats inside and outside if you like the heat right now lol. I really wanted to like this place but it just did not live up to my expectations. The restaurant is in an up and coming area called Union Village where they have multiple brand new restaurants and a few shops. It was completely dead inside when I walked in and it gave me the feeling that it was like that most of the time. You can choose between a few options of pre made bowls or a build your own. I opted to build mine which consisted of sushi rice, 3 scoops of protein (for the small size), spicy mayo, seaweed, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and jalapeños. The salmon was actually very good despite there being water in the serving bowl, but the Hawaiin tuna was way too salty. All the soy sauce it was marinating in over powered any chance of taste it would have. After all that the bowl came out to over $18 with a small tip. read more

This was such a good find, especially on New Year's Day. The place is very clean, and the employee who helped me was great at making suggestions as I was trying to navigate the process for the first time. everything was super tasty they have some proteins that other poke places do not offer so that was nice. I will say the only downside is the price since it is pretty high up but they don't short you like some other poke places do. it's a great spot to grab some lunch especially if you're just coming out of LVAC and want to have something healthy and light. read more

On our way home and were craving some poke, saw this place on Yelp and decided to stop in. First impression very bright and clean location with one employee out to greet us and walk us through the options. We decided to do some "create-your-own" bowls in medium and large. The medium comes with three scoops of proteins and large with four. I saw a previous review that commented on the amount of food you get. Just to be clear they measure out the ounces of protein you get (4oz medium & 6oz large) so if you get no base...yes your bowl will likely look at least half empty. Happy grand open day! Came here cuz I got a flyer saying 1 day only 50% off ok bet. I went and ordered two medium with 6 different proteins and topping. The portions are a tad bit on the smaller side for the price point but it's definitely made up for with the toppings and the sauces. The sauces are definitely game-changers. November 16, 2023 - My daughter needed something fixed at her house, but we were hungry and I wanted Poke. Kobito Poke was close and on the way. Right next to Starbucks and across Henderson Hospital. Dillon, the young gentleman, was very helpful and knowledgeable. The guest before us was asking him several questions and he had every answer without hesitation. He is also from Hawaii like me, so it was nice talking story as he was making our order. And yes, thank you for the Champagne Butter Garlic Sauce sample and recommendation. It's a spacious small store and very welcoming, with a few tables. It's wonderful that you can see the many options they have through the counter window. Mystery arm had a large BYO bowl with Double Salmon, Hawaiian Tuna, Shrimp and Spicy Crab on White Rice and a few toppings, with a little Wasabi on the side. He had the Champagne Garlic Butter and Ponzu Sauce and he truly enjoyed it. I also got a large BYO bowl with Tuna, Salmon, Octopus and Tofu with White Rice and many different toppings. We both agreed this was better than the other Poke Bowl Destinations. I knew I should have went to the bank first, because I ended up using my bank cards, lol we had a little laugh about that. Anywho I enjoy great customer service, and Dillon was awesome and fun to talk with. There were several other guests that came in while we were eating, and Dillon is so patient and makes everyone feel like they were VIP. Okay here is my fun story, I had to go to Starbucks to make change. My kids were helping their Aunty move while she was at work, and they were getting hungry, got the mom I'm hungry call please bring us food, lol my kids are over 20, and we were heading to my daughters house anyway. So I made change at Starbucks, and told Dillon I need 2 small byo bowls. Luckily my kids like the same thing, except one likes pineapple and the other pickled cucumbers. Long story short, we laughed about how his mother was like me. That was my fun experience. I also liked the fact that he called his boss to explain he had to refund and redo because of the change I gave him after he totaled my order. This was good because at closing of the day their register is correct. I know a lot of people see that differently, but I see that as a good thing. If your in the neighborhood, and you're hungry for Poke, get you a bowl! Grab a friend or family and I guarantee a great time with great food! Compare this to Poke Poku's small(2 Scoop) bowl, and you'll laugh too. Poke Poku's plastic bowls are larger and heaping with food. Sweet Poke's are almost the same. Flavor: There was none, except the fake crab tasted like fake crab and the diced(not sliced) cucumber was bitter. There was no sauce in my bowls. I can't comment on fish freshness cuz there was so little fish in my bowls, I couldn't tell. 2 scoops? I think they use scoopers meant for The Wizard of Oz Munchkin Land citizens. Fresh seafood, overall good quality. I request sauce on the side so my food isn't drenched in sauce they will be stingy on the sauces won't fill the cup up then wants to charge you for the sauce when you ask for additional. That's the only downside to an already expensive entree. Would like to go back but each time the sauce cup situation becomes my biggest issue with the place. read more

I added sauce n toppings n I still had to add more soy sauce to add some flavor but still couldn't even eat it bc of the funky spoiled taste.
