The Garlic Soy and Sweet and Spicy wings were very good. The crispness was on point given it is a wet rub and chicken was juicy. Corn cheese had lots of cheese pulls. Sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had anywhere. Wow! Service was quick and attentive. Smaller restaurant looks like it would be fun to go with a small group at night for drinks/food. They also played really good music that wasn't overly loud.

Great food and service. The server (sorry I forgot her name) was very attentive and nice considering my nieces and nephew were a little rambunctious.

I came here on Christmas Eve. Another restaurant I wanted to go to was closed but this place was open. It's next to Holo's coffee which I go to all the time, but it looks closed almost every time I go there. I was surprised it was open, so I decided to give this restaurant a try. Reviews said fried chicken is a must-try so we got the lemon pepper! WOW it was good. So crispy and flavorful on the outside. The inside was moist and piping hot! Spicy french fries had a nice crispiness to it too. I'm guessing it's whatever oil they use to make these two things so good. We got a pork bowl that I thought was kind of mid--I'd skip it next time I come back. Might have just found my new neighborhood Korean fried chicken spot. They also offer free salad (it was just shredded lettuce and thousand island dressing) and pickled daikon. On top of that, I thought the service was great. I mean they are working on Xmas eve! I think it's family owned but I could be wrong.

Location was easy to find, service was great, food was good. There was plenty of seating for a Monday evening. It was kinda warm inside. Fried chicken was crispy and flavorful. The umami flavor was delicious. Complimentary side salad paired well with all the dishes. Seafood pancake was good, but a bit greasy. Kimchee was ok, daikon was good. Parmesan fries were good. Definitely a good place for beer and Korean street foods while catching up with friends.

This place hits the spot for when I'm craving korean food! The staff is very nice and they do an excellent job at keeping the place clean. The music played is fun and upbeat. We started with corn cheese and tokpoki. For our mains we got the sweet and spicy and garlic yoghurt parmesan wings. They offer you a complimentary cabbage salad. Cabbage Salad- Fresh and crisp with a sweet and tangy dressing that awakens your taste buds. Corn Cheese- Such a lovely blend of sweet corn and gooey, creamy cheese. They have a good ratio of each ingredient and it was the perfect balance. Tokpoki- Rice cakes were nice and chewy. The sauce is flavorful with just the right amount of kick. Fish cakes, egg, and sausages make it hearty. Adding on cheese is so worth it! Sweet and Spicy Wings- Their chicken base is tender and juicy with an excellent crispy exterior. The sauce starts off with a tangy sweetness and you get a little kick of heat in the end. Garlic Yoghurt Parmesan Wings- Nice and creamy with a generous amount of cheese on top. The gatlic flavor is nice and strong. Great experience overall!

I never knew I could love Korean fried chicken until I met Bunker21!!! Not only do they have a variety of flavors, but their chicken wings are always the right amount of crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My top three are the Garlic Parmesan Yogurt, Lemon Pepper, and Hot & Crispy wings. They offer a wide range of items on the menu - draft mango cart beer, fries, tteokbokki, and kimchi fried rice, which are all bomb too. Each chicken order usually comes with cabbage salad and radish. I noticed there's usually only 1-2 people working the dining area, but the food always comes out fast & hot. Everyone is nice and accommodating. There are mainly booths of 4 inside with some long tables in the middle to fit larger groups. Interior is like a pocha setting - super casual.

I came often to get chicken wings. My family loves the hottest and spicy chicken wings. Their chicken are crispy and delicious. This place service was pretty fast and the wait staff was really nice. This would be a nice place to bring a group of friends to eat. The food prices was reasonable for the quality. The chicken wings were hot and crispy. The wet flavors maintained their crispness even after a while. I recommend the reaper, it was my daughter's favorite. I would definitely come back again.

The Korean fried chicken is incredibly flavorful. The coating is light and crispy, without being greasy or overly bready. The fries were also perfectly crisp. I was a bit surprised by the umami soy sauce. It was thinner in consistency than what I'm used to but overall, I'd definitely recommend this place!

The food was really good here, probably the best Korean fried chicken I've ever had. It was crispy and the spicy flavor had kick but not too hot. That's the one everyone should order.

I loooooove korean fried chicken! You can really tell the quality of the chicken here. We went with friends since they highly recommended it and i loved it. I got the 3 piece tenders which are HUGE with a huge serving of fries. It comes with a bunch of sauces too but my favorite wad the umami soy and then the house one. My friends enjoyed the garlic yogurt sauce. We got the cheddar fries - came out so hot and good. The wings are delicious and big and my husband got the beef bap which i had a taste of and enjoyed it. Our server was extremely nice and answered all our questions and the food came out piping hot and pretty quickly. I want to bring my parents back soon! Theres enough parking and even tho its a bit on the smaller side its got cool decorations and tvs. The portions are huge but you do pay accordingly. Also youre paying for quality. Will be back! Nothing compares to this delicious chicken

    Lemon pepper wings

Ordered food to go but got to embrace the ambiance when we went inside to pick up the food. The place was packed and there was a waitlist, but staff worked fast to get tables cleared and customers seated. We got the wings (sweet/spicy and lemon pepper) and the B21 fries. I appreciated the crispiness of the lemon pepper wings, I also noted a sweetness to them. My favorite was the sweet and spicy wings. I really liked the bulgogi on the B21 fries, however if I got them again I would ask for light cheese.

Food: 4/5 Ordered chicken wings: Reaper and Soy flavors. Reaper was delicious, dry rub and very spicy. The soy was wonderfully seasoned as well. Chicken wings were nice and crispy and came out hot! Also had fries with bulgogi which had a nice mix of French fries and sweet BBQ meat. The portion for the fries was huge! Service: 4/5 Staff was very nice and very quick. Ambiance: 4/5 Nicely decorated, clean and spacious. Nice seating for parties as well.

Our go to place for chicken wings. I've brought friends and family over the years and never got disappointed. Though the place is small, they have room to accommodate large group. Place is always clean. Servers are nice.

The evening started off strong, as we stopped by during Hoppy Hour (around 9ish). There wasn't a wait, and it wasn't too busy, so we were seated right away. The front staff was nice and polite. She gave us the option of either a tall round table or a shorter rectangular table. We of course, opted for the slightly shorter (height-wise) rectangular table. Once we were seated, we were given the menu, and the waitress told us that we would be right with us. She stopped by to ask about drinks, and we opted for water. She dropped off water and came back with perfect timing because by then we were ready to order. I also love the simplicity of the menu. There really aren't too many options where you feel overwhelmed, but there are still enough choices to pick from. Shout out to the pastrami quesadilla, I didn't realize it had been swapped for a new menu item until I asked about it this time around, but I'll be waiting for its comeback! We ordered a few items: the mac and cheese balls, the Wagyu bone marrow burger with truffle fries, and a double smash burger with ribbed finger potatoes. We had to get the mac and cheese balls since it was Hoppy Hour! I also didn't realize that on Wednesdays, the double smash burgers are half off. I'll definitely remember that for next time. After we ordered, the food came out quicker than I expected. It was a nice surprise. I think the first item came out about 10 minutes after our initial order. The mac and cheese balls came out hot, which was great. The breading made them super crispy and gave a nice crunch that balanced really well with the softer, chewier mac and cheese inside. I was glad the inside wasn't too runny since that would have made it like lava! I didn't see a cheese pull this time, but next time I'll try again to see if I can catch one. It was a great start to the meal. The burgers came out shortly after we finished the mac and cheese balls. I totally forgot that the truffle fries came with sauce. I should have asked for the sauce on the side, but it wasn't a problem that it was added on top of the fries. It just made them get soggy a bit faster, but that's no problem; it just means I've got to work faster! The burger was good and came out super juicy. I asked for it medium, and it looked about medium, so no complaints here! I never realized before, but the bread was so fluffy... it was a super pillowy bun with a nice bounce to it. It definitely helped balance out the meatiness of the patty. The hint of tomato gave it a nice, refreshing bite and really helped cut through the richness of the meat. The onions also added a nice sweetness to the burger, which was appreciated. I also snuck a bite of the ribbed potatoes, and they were good as well. They were a bit crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside, with just a touch of saltiness. I also stole a pickle from the double smash and realized I probably should have asked for pickles on my burger, but I'll remember that for my next visit!

Finally made it out and they are about to close. :(…read more It was very busy when we arrived and we had to wait about 20 minutes, but after being seated, everything was smooth. Trying several items on the menu provided us a nice sampling of what they have to offer. We enjoyed everything we ordered. My favorite was probably the Brussel sprouts as they were cooked to perfection and not sweet like most restaurants serve them. A close 2nd was the chicken parmesan served over zucchini noodles. The final item ordered was a mushroom pasta with shrimp. The shrimp were fantastic with a light char and perfect flavoring. The pasta was good. It was a bit to spicy for me with the chili oil so I only had a small portion. The inside is simple yet inviting with an open layout. They seemed a bit short staffed, but every one was hustling and honestly we were well taken care of. Sad I won't have another opportunity to try more of the menu, but grateful to squeeze in this visit before they close in about a week.

It did look quite busy on the patio when we checked in with the hostess. We were informed that it would prob be about 20 minutes or so for a table and if we wanted to wait at the bar. Exactly what we did. Bar area had maybe 5/6 hi top chairs that look onto the bar. Gabriel and Francisco who were working was knocking the drinks out one by one. Sitting there and just watching them create magic for everyone, it was quite amusing. Seeing how it's made and presented with precise detail, it was an art. While waiting for the table we started off with the raspberry lychee martini and the spicy margaritas. Both were great. The right amount of kick with each sip. Gabriel was knocking them out one by one and man was he busy. Fransisco took are of us while we were eating which we ended up just having our dinner at the bar instead. The last time I remembered the chicken Parmesan which was excellent. So we started off with the grilled prawns as a starters. Five prawns in a skewers and grilled with a delicious sauce accompanied. It was tasty and quite delicious. Decent size and meaty for each bite. Entrees was a little mishap as our meal was mistakenly given to the party next to us which they enjoyed. Honesty mistake but we laughed it off. Kitchen was informed and a rushed was put on our order. We weren't in a rush so it was fine with us. They apologized and graciously offered us a dessert after dinner. Something simple but very graceful for the honest mistake. Entrees, the wild mushrooms pasta which was quite tasty and pretty decent in size. The cream sauce which wasn't too over powering the meal was great. Each bite was very tasty. Then there was the chicken Parmesan which why we were here and expecting. The last visit it was excellent with grilled broccolini, slices of tomatoes on top and mozzarella cheese and onto spaghetti pasta. It was great. Thinking it would be the same this time which it wasn't. This visit, it was just served with squash pasta and buffalo mozzarella on top. Honestly it wasn't what I expected, somewhat of a little disappointed. Chicken was good don't get me wrong. But the hot meat with sauce and then you have literally COLD squash pasta paired with it. It was a little underwhelming. Overall, we still had a nice experience. The place was pretty full and of course the lakers were on so it was fun seeing everyone cheering them on. Bar seating for a meal was great as we had fun conversations with both Gabriel and Francisco. Plus they were cranking them drinks out one by one. Excellent in what they do. The drinks were great, grilled prawns and wild mushrooms pastas were excellent. Chicken parm, this time was a miss. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and cocktails. Also the dessert, highly recommend the Cinnabon with vanilla ice cream. Wow, it went down very well. Hoping next time will outdo this.

A few streets from there on your right side you'll find boulevard gastropub. Sitting next door to some other business which is right next to a big parking lot which is free by the way. I've parked in this lot at least a couple of times just to go to that taco truck and never noticed gastropub. Immediately when I walked in it was good vibes and the sense of a good atmosphere. I was greeted by the owner and a young lady who was the bartender. The owner is real cool. We had a short conversation I shared with him how I discovered his business and informed him I do reviews as well as post some content on my social media platforms in hopes of businesses receiving more attention and customers. Unfortunately, due to them not having an alcohol or liquor license, some of their drinks such as the cocktails are more so wine based drinks. So please don't come here expecting to get some Don Julio or Hennessy. Ain't gone happen lol. I had a Classic Mojito and enjoyed it. The price was $10 which I found exceptional. The food was delicious. I recommend the Blvd Burger as a go to if you can't decide on anything else. I loved it so much I had to make a video. And definitely try the Voodoo Wings. You won't be disappointed. Just imagine buffalo wings with lemon pepper seasoning. Cuz that's what it is and they're fire. No bs with the ranch dressing too. I'm definitely returning for another visit. I can see this being a new frequent spot to pull up to and hang out. I love the ambiance, my drink, the food here and the customer service. This establishment has a South African theme and I saw both the USA and South African flags flown outside. This establishment is only open for evening rations and was very busy when I arrived and there was a wait for a table. We were called and seated. The waitress pointed us to a QR Code and I told her neither of us do QR codes so she brought us a tablet that had the menu. This establishment does NOT have paper menus. Apparently this establishment wants people to go digital which I GREATLY resent as I am an analogue guy and I do not want to go digital!!!!! This is the one and only reason why I am giving such a low grade. Men's washroom was clean and had paper towels available... good. I ordered the cheeseburger and shake combo deal. The burger was quite good as were the French Fries and the chocolate shake was excellent. My mother ordered the lamb and was very satisfied though she took most of it home. Normally I would automatically give the lowest score possible if a sit down restaurant lacks a written paper or laminated menu or if an establishment forces me to use a kiosk to place an order. However I requested a sample of Biltong and the waitress honoured that request. For this reason I am adding an additional point for a total of two points instead of the one point that I would have otherwise awarded. If a letter grade was assigned as is done in school, this establishment would get a D. NOTE: If this establishment had a paper or laminated menu available, I would have awarded four out of five possible points which would have equated to a letter grade of B. The reason I would not have given a perfect score is because I noticed that some of the guys who work at this establishment wore their shirts untucked which I consider to be highly unprofessional.

The flat bread, was maybe a bit too salty, and burnt on the edges BUT let me tell you the regulars at the bar boost this place up to a 5 out of 5! While we were catching up "the clique," placed at the corner of the bar; was randomly chatting in Spanglish, and just about every other sentence was nothing but entertaining. At one point one of the guys was leaning upwards as if he was doing parkour on on his stud lady friend. And may the universe bless the flamboyant guy who shouted... "Remember when I B*** slapped you like it was a soap opera?!" A few mins later they were reenacting a Mexican-Spanish Tele Novella. I asked them for a rewind and of course I filmed it. As soon as they were done, I looked over to my friend and we both said "we're coming back!" The bartender was nice and he indeed let us know that these bar actors are regulars. Both my brothers bartend locally and you bet I sent them photos and video, asking "why don't you have people like this at your pub?!" If I could give out more stars I would. Happy holidays!
