I've been going here for years and the quality is always the same. Although the one in Carmel is now tucked away in a tiny strip mall off 116th, Waze will get you there! My favorite are the spinach kolache's. Today I bought all that was left of the spinach, 1 Italian chicken, and 1 chicken enchilada. If you've never tried one, you definitely should. They have sweet ones, savory ones, breakfast ones, lunch, etc.

Kolaches for breakfast before the Indy 500! Kolaches are dough balls with toppings inside- I got a sausage egg and cheese kolache and it was fabuloussssssss. The dough was so yeasty (yum). I loved it! It was so warm and flavorful. The sausage was so yummy and I had the perfect amount of cheesiness to complement the eggs. Overall 10/10 breakfast experience. The flavors we all got today were sausage/egg/cheese, bacon/egg/cheese, BBQ brisket, and smoked sausage. Family reviews: Uncle George: "it was different" Armen: "it was good" Dad: "too much fat in the meat" Derek: "Good. If the outside was crunchy it would be better. Lot of good flavors. Brisket was good."

Wow! I'm impressed. It was a restaurant filled with hungry people. There was one staff member, Maria, and she was working hard! In comes a Door Dash employee who is frustrated about the delay on his order. Maria apologized, and let him know she was the only person working today and would get to the order as soon as possible. She explained that it had been busy all morning, and she had gotten behind. She was calm, kind, and professional but conveyed sincerity about getting the order finished and to the driver. The Door Dash driver continued to complain and be rude and mean to her. As the crowd in the lobby became more uncomfortable, and the Door Dash driver left, we each made our way to the register, ordered, and apologized for the way Maria was treated. She responded with gratitude and kindness and went back to working hard to help those of us in line. The restaurant was clean, and the food looked amazing. The Kolaches were going fast as the customers came in and ordered, but I'm not surprised. The Kolaches are always Great, and I can see why the restaurant is so popular. I can happily recommend the Kolaches, and after the customer service experience today, I can't say enough great things about Maria. She's the kind of person I'd happily hire for my business if she was in the healthcare field. To the owner of the Kolache Factory, thank you so much for staffing your restaurant with such an amazing professional.

When I hear someone say "Kolache", they remind me of sweet dessert pastry topped with some fruit jelly. I come to the Kolache factory and I get a variety of meat encased in a puffy dough. What a treat I got and with the selection that is offered. I have the luxury to choose the delights. I ordered a few which are bbq, ranchero and egg. I was able to share some to my family which filled their little tummies. Cost per item is around $4 which is not too bad for a delightful treat. Next time I will need to try other flavors that they offer.

Bottomline: Kolaches are delicious. For those unfamiliar with the term, a Kolache is a yeast based pastry filled with fruit or other ingredients. Many of the kolaches are geared towards breakfast (sausage/bacon, egg, cheese varieties). But they also have lunch-style ones including polish dogs, philly cheesesteak, pizza, bbq brisket and italian chicken among others. I usually go around breakfast time and will pick up an extra one to have as a snack later in the day. My personal favorite is the ranchero which comes with ham, egg, cheese, picante sauce and jalapenos, all inside the sweet, doughy yeast roll. This location in particular has more inside seating than other locations I have been to. They open early and close early (6am-2pm) most days, so be sure to stop in and get yours today!

Great place for a quick filling breakfast that you can cater for yourself or a big group of people! I like to think of it as a polish hot pocket. They have all types of flavors - breakfast and lunch. We got a box of an assortment of sausage/egg, bacon/egg, potato/egg. sausage gravy, rancheros, and more. They were all fantastic and the service was incredibly fast for good quality food. We will be returning!

Yes please! When your office gets tired of having someone randomly bring in donuts every week, switch it up and get kolaches. They make online ordering super easy and offer discounts for bulk orders. You can quickly swing by and be back on the road in minutes. The kolaches as always are to die for!

High quality, slightly sweet, m balls of dough stuffed with a variety of fillings for anytime of day: breakfast items like egg and cheese; lunch items such as chicken enchilada or Italian chicken and then the classic fruit topping kolaches. Always friendly staff ready to help. Visited during covid pandemic and seemed very clean and up to date with guidelines. Highly recommend!

The best Kolaches around with the best staff! Shout out to Maria at the Kolache Factory! She's the sweetest and sooo helpful! We went in not knowing what we wanted and she had great suggestions.

My new favorite breakfast restaurant. I am a huge fan of the breakfast kolaches. I had a manager bring these to work and craved them until the weekend when we were able to come back for more. Quick service- tons of options. My favorite is sausage egg and cheese. Chicken enchilada was tasty too but did have some spice. I also liked the spinach artichoke dip one as well. Can't wait to come back - just looking at my photos makes me want more now.

Easy quick breakfast perfect for running errands. We got a nice assortment of kolaches this morning because we wanted a good filling easy meal. We got a mix - ranchero, Italian chicken, bacon egg and cheese. All very good! If you haven't had them before - they are similar to a very soft bagel or bun with fillings. Either sweet or savory. These would be great for a large gathering, office lunch, family gathering.

    Order and receipt.

This third time I was picking up 18 pastries - 3 different types- all delicious and superbly baked AND a cake. WOW! The cake was amazingly beautiful! delicious and decorated exquisitely with huge intricate frosting flowers and leaves. I'm very very happy with my order- they even helped me carry it to the car. This bakery made my special family party a huge success, everyone enjoyed the food and remarked on how delicious it looked and tasted. Thank you SO much for making the event extra special

The raspberry pistachio croissant? Oh. My. God. This thing had me in a chokehold. Flaky, buttery layers with the perfect balance of tart raspberry and rich pistachio. It wasn't just good -- it was write-home-about-it good. The kind of pastry that makes you pause mid-bite and question every other croissant you've ever had. The second was a croissant sandwich (I wish I could remember the name!), but the way those flavors paired together? Let's just say it was a full culinary experience. Savory, balanced, indulgent -- you get the hint. Every bite just made sense. Now here's the part that really says something: I grew up on the East Coast where authentic French bakeries are everywhere and the cultural standard is high. I know a proper croissant. And this? This was better. Yes, I said it. We even had the chance to speak with the owner, who was incredibly warm and genuine. He checked in to make sure we enjoyed everything -- which we clearly did, considering we left with boxes to take home. This place isn't just a pastry shop. It's an experience. And trust me, it will be a topic of discussion in our house for days. Run. Don't walk.

I got a chicken parm and a meatball parm a few cookies, an espresso and an Italian hot chocolate.. My question, like someone else had wrote below about the bakery goods. The place is way to small to make in house. Most of the cake slices and mini treats are obviously pre packaged. So I wonder where they get the goods from and how long they sit before they renew. The service was good. Counter help was polite and pleasant. I grew up in the 70s and 80s in the North East and remember the smells of the food, bread and baked goods being made IN HOUSE. Stacco House had none of this. If I was blindfolded walking in I would never know I was in an Italian Bakery. It had more of a smell of a standard coffee house. Stacco passed, but in a way that was sort of disappointing. If you are going to call yourself authentic cuisine maybe try a little harder then to just have some Dean Martin playing in the background. It was almost Olive garden-ish. Sorry if I am offending anyone but when you have had real, you know what real is. Also, the nail in the coffin..... The business card. The Italian flag, from the flag pole out is green white red. The card has it on an angel as red white green. If the flag is draped vertical, green is on the top.

Much like the downtown Indy location, Lemon's is technically located within the Carmel Needler's. However, Lemon's has its own separate entrance and storefront while existing on the east end of Needler's. You can access Needler's directly from Lemon's Bakery Cafe. Lemon's has a small counter with display cases for its baked goods. Like the downtown Indy location, they offer sweets from Noblesville's Rosie's and they offer a variety of local coffees and a rather extensive list of coffee options. There's also a relatively small dining area with booths appropriate for 2-3 people. I found this area not entirely wheelchair friendly, though I could make it work. My best option was sitting at the end of a row of booths which put me pretty much close to the door on a rather chilly day. The employee working was super quiet but friendly and helpful. I ordered two chocolate frosted donuts, they have donuts, and I was honestly a bit stunned they were only $2 total. They do have higher-priced items, of course. The donuts were fresh and delicious and definitely hit the spot on a rainy, dreary day here in Indy. I appreciated that the doors were automatic doors and that there was accessible parking directly in front of the entrance. I also appreciated being able to check out Needler's, though to grab a cart you do have to go down to the Needler's entrance. While I wouldn't consider Lemon's a destination bakery, I wouldn't hesitate to stop in while in the area and this has become a nice little strip center with Needler's, a CVS, Roots Burger Bar, Rad's, and a couple other fun businesses to check out here. Business was steady in the few minutes I was here and it seems to be a stop for neighborhood families. If you're in the area and craving some baked goods Lemon's is a convenient, affordable option that also supports local!
