My experience was not your average occasion. I was looking for a place to cater some churros for a taco party and luckily I found that Corazon had a variety of churro flavors to choose from! I ordered online on their website for pickup on a Wednesday evening. We ordered the chocolate, strawberry, and bavarian cream churros. Each order came with 4 pieces. The churros weren't the typical ones I am familiar with, where from my experience there are usually served with dipping sauces, but I actually liked the filling, which made for a less messy dessert. They were quite tasty and very FRESH and CRUNCHY. Our favorites were the bavarian cream and chocolate flavors. Unfortunately, we found that a few of the bavarian cream churros did not have any filling in them. It looks like they may have forgotten to fill a few of them, but even without filling, they tasted pretty good. I think I would be open to checking out their full menu on a different occasion. There is plenty of seating available and the decor makes you feel like you are at the right place!

The reviews for this place were good, so we gave it a try. It's a nice place to sit down for dinner, but we came close to closing and grabbed food to go. I'm not sure if it was the time we showed up, but the quality of meat (Carne Asada) was subpar - you can't mess up Carne Asada! Unfortunately, there were fatty/chewy to non edible pieces of meat. The rice and beans in the burrito tasted OK but also seemed like filler. The proportions of meat, rice, beans were off. You may see in my photo - Limited pieces of meat on the left side of the burrito and the rest was filled with rice and beans. It was a super burrito but the crema seemed non-existent as it was soaked up in the rice/beans. If it wasn't for some of their salsa verde to pour onto the burrito, it would have been really dry. It seems long were the days where chips automatically came with your meal. Although there are still some establishments that continue to give a small bag of complimentary tortilla chips. So, we asked. Given it was near closing and the chips may go to waste, it felt like a missed opportunity to offer a small gesture of hospitality. Something simple like that can make a big difference in how guests feel welcomed. Unfortunately, there wasn't alot of meat to begin with but on top of that, some pieces were not even edible. Hence the low rating.

Sleepy little resturant that was definitely a surprise. Their menu is full of surprises. As you walk in the decor was homie and full of Mexican flare. The staff was amazing very helpful answering all our menu questions. We ordered several items to try out the menu. We started with the chips and salsas. The salsa were all flavorful, the chips were crispy but lacked taste. You have to ask for the habanero salsa, not typically handed out. We moved on to the main dishes. The 3 tacos platter allowed us to try multiple meat options, including Chicken Oaxaca, Carnitas, and Pork Pibil. Our favorite was the flavorful Chicken Oaxaca, then Carnitas, and lastely the Pork Pibil (Not much taste on this one). The tortillas were grilled with a nice char. The rice and beans were all good and had nice taste and texture. The tamal rojo was done prefectly and had a good taste. The enchilada was just okay, wouldn't order that again. Finally, the chili Relleno was super cheesy and my father really enjoyed that dish. Overall, the food was amazing but could've have been a bit warmer from the kitchen. We will be back!

My gauge for a good Mexican restaurant is their salsas. The ones here didn't skimp on their chilli usage and I was a happy customer. Yelp check in gets a free basket of chips with two salsas. We tried- **Chicken tacos-4/5-delicious chicken and toppings but the amount of fat visible between the two tacos was insane. **Mole poblano-4/5- I was excited for this one as the description on the menu was very enticing. 30 ingredients in a made from scratch complex sauce with chocolate and dry and roasted chillies. The versions I tried before were always sweet and I am not particularly fond of sweetness in my savory dishes. Unfortunately the version here was sweet as well but the mole was a lot smoother and more palatable than other places. **Quesadilla-4/5-kids got this and reported it was decent. **Burrito-3/5- average burrito, missed some heat. Salsas came to rescue here. Ambiance is colorful. The complex is not crowded and hence we were able to enjoy our meal outdoors.

Yelp check-in = Complimentary chips and salsa, $1.75 value, even for my to-go order. Quality/Quantity - Got the following tacos today: Chicken Oaxaca - She told me that this will have a kick, but I did not taste any heat at all. Carnitas - My favorite of the three and this had the most flavors. Grill Chicken - This had the least amount of flavor, but probably the healthiest. All three tacos have the same sauce and toppings. Overall, I felt they had a good simple menu. See the two pictures. They have specials also. See pictures or website. Atmosphere - Decent size restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Bright and nice decor. Table or counter table seating. I believe they offer counter-service. I ordered to-go at the counter. Self-service water. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week 11am to 8:30pm or midnight. Service - Okay, counter service. Price - $3.50 for each of the tacos I ordered, totalling $11.46. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success for 5+ years.

This little Mexican restaurant is hidden in a sleepy shopping center at the corner of Mary & Fremont. It's in the same shopping center as Smart & Final and Starbucks. Easy parking, it's always plentiful. I've been coming here for years even though it's a bit of a drive when there are closer options. The lady at the counter is always friendly and nice. There are several tables inside, a mix of high and low tables. Restrooms are in the back. I'm always surprised how empty they are, even around noon on a Friday. You won't have any trouble getting a table. I've only stopped by for lunch, so maybe they get more crowded in the evenings. Their Super Burrito is my usual go to. They have all the usual stuff you'll find at a taqueria : tacos, burritos, enchiladas. They also have other specialties such as Chicken Mole, Pork Pibil, Pork Pipian, Oaxaca, Chile En Nogada, Carne Asada. And some seafood dishes such as Pescados a La Veracruzana, Camarones a la Veracruzana, Camarones Chipotle, and Camarones a la Diabla. Kids menu available, too!

Visited Corazon for a late lunch on a week day. They have some very authentic Mexican options on the menu, not just your run of the mill Americanized Mexican food. It was very good, I would definitely return again!

You definitely stole my heart A weekly spot of ours being super convenient and close to home but packed with amazing flavor that keeps us coming back. If you dine in for lunch, they have a quaint little outdoor area. Lots of parking, located in Sunnyvale - Mary & Fremont shopping center.

Ask the Community - Corazon Mexican Food

    How spicy are the jalapeños?

I would say a little spicy. If you don't eat spicy, ask for them to be on the side. That way you can judge and still add them to your food. Every person has a different level of tolerance towards spicy.

Do they use chicken stock in their rice or is it vegan?

Is vegan. We don't use chicken stock/broth. Also our refried beans and black beans are vegan.

ARE WE IN SILICON VALLEY? 4.5…read more One might never know this restaurant exists, tucked away near a Google business park just off Highway 101. You could stumble upon it through Yelp (as we did), discover it while staying at the adjacent Treehouse Hotel, or simply hear about it through word of mouth. The parking situation is an interesting one. After turning into the driveway from Mathilda Avenue, you have two options: turn right for valet parking or left into the Google parking lot. There are plenty of spaces available, though parking there is technically at your own risk. The restaurant told us they had not heard of anyone being ticketed or towed. We first dined here shortly after it opened in 2025 and were immediately impressed by the beautiful grounds. The hotel's eco-conscious gift shop, housed in a glass greenhouse and featuring a colorful vintage VW Bug, is a charming touch. The short walk to the restaurant feels especially relaxing on a warm, sunny day. This has become one of our favorite places to bring friends or host girls' lunches. With three distinct seating options: the dining room, bar, and patio, there's an atmosphere to suit just about any occasion, whether you're dining as a couple or gathering with a larger group. I would recommend visiting during lunch or dinner service and skipping the in-between hours. During that time, only the bar area is open and the menu is more limited. To fully experience what Valley Goat has to offer, lunch or dinner is the way to go. Despite the name, the only goat dish on the menu at the time of this review is the Goat Empanadas. My friend was initially hesitant to order them, but David, our wonderful server, and I encouraged her to give them a try. She was glad she did. There was no gamey flavor whatsoever; the meat tasted more like beef, and the accompanying sauce was excellent. Over several visits, we've enjoyed everything we've ordered and are delighted to have a restaurant of this caliber in our Bay Area backyard. Chef and co-owner Stephanie Izard, winner of Season 4 of Top Chef and an Iron Chef title, owns a total of nine restaurants, primarily in the Chicago area, along with locations in Los Angeles and one at Orlando International Airport. Since we enjoy traveling for great food, we'll definitely be adding some of her other restaurants to our list.

We ordered a few items to share and each were spectacular. The shrimp salad in particular contained perfectly cooked shrimp (although there weren't many) tossed in the right amount of sauce. The grilled asparagus were delightfully sweet and smokey. The smoked salmon dip paired with pickles were just the right amount of savory, spicy, and sour. Ambience: very greenhouse vibes. The interior had many live walls (walls filled with viney plants), and ceiling decor of plants as well. Along the restaurant was a long line of monsteras, scattered with fiddle leaf plants throughout. Love how "fresh" it made the restaurant feel. Given their different menus I different times, would definitely try to come back and try their dinner menu. Price: food arrives in small plates (for sharing). A bit on the expensive side for the small plates. However, the taste of each dish is exceptional.

I ordered the Shrimp Al Tequila. I've never seen a dish like this on a menu, so I thought I'd try it. It has a very, very warm spicy heat to it. You can taste the flavors from the tequila and the capers and olives. It's a wonderful dish, although I wish there were more shrimp on it! My wife had the Pollo.
