Great food. The chicken was a fairly large plate so I wouldn't be surprised if it filled up the average person. The ribs are huge as well, but I didn't try any as I do not eat pork. The cucumbers were a fresh accoutrement . The crispy tuna was good, not fishy at all. The plantains were "meh" as was the steak. The raspberry mojito was top notch. All in all I would come back if I'm in the east Nashville area and craving this cuisine. I have a lot more places I'd like to try though.

Been wanting to try this establishment for some time now. All I have to say is Truffle Mac n cheese!! I loved it. I wish I could have it every other day lol. I also had the sticky ribs, they were good, you also can't go wrong with the Kpop chicken, definitely very good. The glass noodles I loved. The crispy tuna rice loved and the drinks were great! The only dish that was ok were the lamb skewers but the cilantro salad that came with it, amazing lol. All in all, great restaurant will be returning for the food, vibes and great customer service.

Came in for a pre mothers day dinner with the fam. The staff was so accommodating. They were completely booked and offered to allow us dine at their waiting area space which offered comfy couches and table. We gratefully accepted the offer. To start I ordered the raspberry frozen margarita and my daughter ordered a mojito-mocktail. The establishment offers small bite/ tapas style dishes. We ordered way too many dishes; cucumber salad, poke bowl, stick ribs, dumplings, octopus, truffle mac n cheese, and tuna with crispy rice squares. All of the dishes had incredible flavor; my faves were the sticky ribs and poke bowl.

Everything about Koré is phenomenal. The food is delicious, the vibes are spot on, and the service goes above and beyond. If you're looking for a meal to remember, this is the spot. I highly recommend making a reservation! While they do take walk-ins, this spot can get busy even on weekdays. If you can't find a time that you like on OpenTable, set a notification for the time you want! I did that and ended up getting lucky with a cancellation the day before. It's pretty easy to find street parking nearby, and there is an attached free lot as well, though it does fill up quickly. I met up with two friends for our Saturday evening reservation, and we were seated right away.

WOW YALL, I can't believe I slept on Kore so long! My wife & I met up with our besties & fellow Yelpies Amanda M & TJ M for an 8:15 Sunday dinner & were served by the incredibly friendly & enthusiastic Kensington. She took a good 5 mins to welcome us as newbies & go over all the highlights. We each started off with a cocktail from their extensive drink menu. I had the Beluga which was a deliciously sweet gin based drink heavy with lychee. I don't remember what everybody else had but we all tasted each others drinks & they were all solid. Between the four of us we probably sampled half the food menu but if I had to pick just two faves I'd go with the Salmon Don & the kimchi bacon risotto though it's REALLY hard to narrow it because everything here was exceptional. Every time something new was placed on the table & eaten somebody said "this is so good" I'd go so far as to say that Kore deserves all the praise that Noko up the street receives. The atmosphere is more fun & laid back, the food is just as good with some of the same creativity & inspiration, the drinks are better & the service is exceptional. I will be back & will bring more people to try Kore because they are doing everything right. Get down there & eat yall!

First time here and the food was pretty good. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable which helped in deciding what to get. There was a good amount of seating and I like how the ambiance was. A bit of a dark setting but great for a date.

I about to become a regular here. The food is so flavorful. I loved the crispy tuna, and the k pop chicken. I can't wait to go back so I can try everything on the menu. Everything is shareable so they recommend 2-4 plates person. We for about 5 dishes for 2 ppl and it was plenty. They are a craft cocktail bar and everything was amazing. Service was fantastic. Shout out to our server, Kensington, she has great energy and gave us awesome recommendations. This is a great place to meet friends or have a fun date night. There is bar seating, couches and tables. The vibes are great to chilling and hanging out. They also have a private parking lot so that takes the stress out of parking. But the spots are sort of small so I can see it filling up fast. Can't wait to go back.

Korean food in Nashville??? As you can imagine, I did not have high expectations coming from NY. Especially when we walked in and saw no Asian customers in a pub-style atmosphere, which would be a big red flag in NY but not so much down here. As it turned out, there was no reason for concern. Kensington was our waitress and she was amazingly informative and super friendly! We learned that the chef and co-owner was born in Korea and the menu, while not traditionally Korean, is Korean enough. Highlights were the Kalbi steak, MU cucumbers, k pop chicken, plantains, crispy tuna and dessert. But the rest were also so good. One of the best meals we had in Nashville!!

I came here with work colleagues on a business trip. We were able to make a reservation for a Saturday evening, and boy, did we need one. It was hoppin' in there! We went on a rainy evening at around 6pm and it was busy. While we were waiting for our seats, we saw so many delicious plates of food and unique drinks. We knew it was going to be hard to choose! Thankfully, the two ladies I went with had been before, so they were able to help me in choosing. We decided to get a few plates for the table and share. This is definitely an elevated tapas/dim sum/small plates spot. We went with the truffle mac & cheese, mi cucumber,k-pop chicken, sticky rib, crispy tuna + rice, and the scallops. Between the three of us, this was sufficient in terms of food. The plates vary in terms of quantity/size. For example, the k-pop chicken had a decent amount but for the scallops there were only three with the order. For drinks I tried the Blackberry Rye and the Hibiscus Bubbles. I love when rye whiskey and fruit are mixed, it is absolutely delicious. And then the bubbles drink was just fun. It tasted good and also had these cool bubbles on top. Very fun and funky. We enjoyed our meal but in true busy spot fashion, we had to vacate at around the 1.5 hour mark because they had another reservation coming in. While I ubered, there seems to be parking close by. All in all, this was a really fun (and expensive) experience. Definitely worth it in my opinion. I am trying to figure out how to get back to Nashville just so I can go here again.

Came here with some work colleagues and was pleased to say the least. We definitely spent a pretty penny, but was well worth it. Be prepared to do the same especially if you want to indulge in multiple dishes (and even accommodating for a party greater than 2-3 folks.) We didn't have to wait because we had a reservation in place the day prior. We had the time at 7:30pm on a Saturday night. No problems there. Our server was also very friendly and attentive (his name is Travis). He made sure to give us our time/privacy to chat but also showed face to fill our cups, clear our dirty dishes, and make sure we were cared for. Most importantly, the food/drinks. Although portion wise they are on the smaller side, you are paying for the quality over quantity. We ordered: Mi Cucumbers, K-Pop Chicken, Sticky Rib, Duck Tacos, Truffle Mac and Cheese, Gnocchi, and a few cocktails on top. I had the "Kore-Anita" and was happy with it. Definitely would get again if I weren't trying anything else. Lastly, seating inside was fair. Not too large but also didnt feel too small. Again, my party was a size of 4 and I already thought that was "larger" than the average parties I saw in there at the time. Definitely a place for a date. Would recommend. My personal rating: 4.6/5

I was in town for work for the week and this was our last celebratory dinner with just one of my colleagues and I and I wish I had found this place. We had too many meetings. Anyways we came in knowing bar seating was our only option after calling and found only one seat available. Staff were so kind that they pulled up a second barstool and had some people scooted down which everybody was happy to do. Gotta love how polite it is in the south. Jen the bartender was phenomenal. We started with some cocktails a lychee martini and I forget what my friend ordered. Loved these. Then we asked Jen what she liked. She gave us all the customer favorites and added hers into the mix. I think we based our whole dinner on her recs and if you're reading this yall should do the same. This is tapas style to expect to order a few things. We got the broccolini (5/5), salmon don bowl (4.5/5) only bc the rice filled me up and I needed room for more delicious things, kimchi bacon risotto 6/5 tbh the best thing we had IMO, sticky ribs (5/5) and we capped it with the caramel dessert. Start to finish this was an awesome meal with great staff and incredible food. The inside is so cute you can tell it is well loved in the neighborhood.

Supremely great food! I went simply for a drink and dessert and was convinced in the first bite and sip that I would be coming back in the near future on my next trip. I had a freshly squeeze watermelon margarita and a cheesecake packed full of love! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and made me feel right at home. (Thank you London, Travis, & Sabrina!) And observing all of the dishes that went by me, I knew I was in foodie heaven! Don't miss a chance to come here! Your pallet will thank you!

Great atmosphere. It was our first time and the menu was intimidating, but waitress explained it well. The drinks were excellent. All of the food was delicious. The service was top notch. I highly recommend Kore for a fun date night or just a casual but elegant night out.

There were some things that stood out, but most that did not. I welcome comments on what I should focus on for a future trip, as I am always willing to go from "this is average" to "this is outstanding" if I just did not hit the right notes. Tl;DR - Dessert was the star of the show This came recommended by a guy I recommended Kosho to. He came back with a glowing review of Kosho, so I figured his recommendation of Tantisimo as the best restaurant in Nashville might stick. Perhaps I should add this up to a night that was not hitting on all cylinders? Or perhaps our taste buds were not in line with the crowd here. As such, I find this average with some high notes. Yes, I know most people consider 3 stars to be bad, but to me it was just average. YMMV This was a last minute decision and I was able to find a spot in their parking lot when I drove up. This is a kind of luck I seem to have, but would gladly give up for winning a huge lottery. LOL. Seemed like a great sign. Coming in, the place is small, but definitely builds up the vibe they are going for, which is like a small, upscale cantina. Kudos. Nicely bound cocktail, beer, wine, and liquor list. Kudos. Trisha greeted and was able to lead us to drinks. Kudos again. I got the Much Fashioned, which was like a Latin old fashioned, which uses Belle Meade bourbon, piloncillo, and aztec bitters. Very nicely done cocktail. As it was later, we went more with smaller plates: bolillo bread, pan de bueno, yuca encebollada, crudo, and shrimp skewers. The pan de bueno was a bit like Brazilian Pão de Queijo only less cheesy in execution. The Bolillo bread was more interesting with the chorizo butter. The star of the starches was the yuca encebollada with mushrooms and scallions. The Yellowfin crudo was interesting with the strawberry, which added a nice touch. The fried planatin strips added a nice visual. The shrimp were overly salty and a bit overcooked. We ended with dessert. The CU|FLan was excellent. And extremely well executed flan. I got the carjillo, which reminded me a bit of an espresso with a nice hint of vanilla. I would go back for dessert and drinks, for sure. I am torn on the meal and would love to have any recommendations of what items I did not have I should consider on a future trip.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the food had potential, but the overall experience wasnot great. Food-We started with the bacon-wrapped dates, which were delicious with a nice balance of salty, savory, and sweet. The potatoes were also really good--crispy and served with a flavorful aioli. The ham croquettes were decent, but a little heavy, and I wish they had more meat. Service & Wait Time The biggest issue was the long wait for the vegetable paella. We waited about 45 minutes, and by the time it arrived, I was too hungry to even take a picture. I also wish the food had come out closer together instead of having such a long gap between dishes. To their credit, the paella was comped because of the wait. Also as big as the restaurant they put a group of 8 people where there are boots for couples which made it impossible to hear my partner. Cleanliness/cockroach Unfortunately, we also saw a cockroach during our visit, which made it difficult to feel comfortable and fully enjoy the meal. It was crawling by the seat on the bench. Parking Tip-If you visit, make sure to ask about the 2-hour parking validation before you leave. Since the paella took so long, the timing felt tight with the validation window. Final Thoughts-While there were a few dishes we enjoyed, the long wait and cleanliness concern really affected the overall experience. I'm not sure I would recommend this restaurant or comeback.

It is tucked in a neighborhood in the West End, and most people were surprised we found it or had heard of it as non-locals. It is a very popular spot. We arrived 20 minutes early and snagged the last parking spot in the lot behind the restaurant. Eric R. wanted to sit outside, so we were directed to wait at the bar until a table opened up. I got the cucumber sage yuzu spritz mocktail, and Eric R. got a local amber beer. Our table was ready within 10 or 15 minutes, so we migrated to it for dinner. Our server was helpful in providing recommendations. We started with three shareables: the mussels in lemongrass serrano beer broth and grilled bread, tempura long-stemmed artichokes on Calabrian chile mascarpone, and the lamb lollipops with pearled cous cous. I tasted the lamb, and it was heavenly, like melt-in-your-mouth tender but with a lot of caramelization. That was really Eric R.'s choice so I let him eat the majority of it. I really enjoyed the mussels and the artichokes! Everything was hot and delicious. I was sipping broth with a mussel shell when the bread ran out, and the host came out with more bread for us! It was so good. We asked to see a dessert menu. Eric R. had a tough choice between carrot cake and blondie with caramel ice cream, but was steered toward the blondie and did not regret it. I asked what the house made ice cream was for the day, and it was coconut matcha with a white chocolate shell topping. That sounded so perfect, and it was AMAZING. The evening was beautiful, the restaurant was lovely, the service was fantastic, and the food was delicious! That is the answer!

HEADS-UP the happy hour menu is bar-top only, so plan accordingly if you're going specifically for those deals. Limited seating available. Happy Hour & Spice Level I had the happy hour cocktail it was bourbon, lemon and honey. The food was flavorful overall, but I do wish the menu clearly noted which items are spicy. Most of the happy hour dishes seemed to have some kind of chili oil or heat element. That may be great for people who enjoy spice, but it would be helpful to know ahead of time, especially if you're sensitive to heat. For dessert, we always come back for the chocolate panna cotta with graham cracker crumble and burnt marshmallow, which was a nice sweet finish. This one is a must! To put this into next level I recommend adding the pretzel bites instead of graham cracker and a few salted flakes. We also tried the almond butter cornbread with blackberry, but I would avoid it. It was pretty dry and didn't have enough balance. The manager? Said it was a new item they were trying. I think it would be much better with ice cream or a salted caramel sauce to add moisture and richness. It was dry even when I mentioned it they didn't comp it we only had a bite and immediately decided it wasn't worth it. Final Thoughts Overall, Answer is a nice spot with a great happy hour, but clearer spice notes on the menu and a few tweaks to the dessert options would make the experience better. If you are seating by the bar it gets loud I wish the bartender doesn't just throw the drinks/plates so aggressively that it clanks. Also this place gets loud definitely not a lot for sound to absorb.

I ordered the cold brew tonic mocktail which was perfectly balanced with a tonic forward bold yet smooth flavor. The beet is presented in a spiral of ribbons and tastes mildly spicy from the habanero. The endive was one of my favorite dishes of the night. The onions and creamy foam join the crunchy endive to form the perfect bite. The scallop was tender, sweet, floral, and never ending due to its enormous size! The chewy rice cakes and broth were the comfort food I didn't know I needed The octopus was oh-so-crispy and served with an addicting sauce. The marzipan donut was delightfully chewy, salty, and sweet while the salted raspberry was tart but balanced by the white chocolate cream and sugary flakes of crispy nori. Ordering both desserts was not a mistake and I will probably repeat this decision when I inevitably come back! I was told the sauce served with the octopus has recently changed.
