The fact that I can grab what sides I love and avoid the ones I hate. I have been ordering uncooked beef brisket, bulgogi, spicy pork and other kinds of meat from Koreana Grill since they started offering them for take out. Our favorite meat is the beef brisket. It comes with green lettuce, green onion salad, radish and sauces. We also order side dishes like the fish cake, kimchi, rice paper and cucumbers. When it comes to AYCE Korean BBQ, I'll be honest, this wouldn't be my first choice. Came here with extended family to enjoy a family lunch. This was my firs time coming to a buffet style korean bbq. Pretty much all of the meats and sides are laid out and you get your own. The quality of the meats was decent, but I was disappointed in the pork belly. That's usually my go-to meat at korean BBQ and I love places that marinade it. Their pork belly is just plain, sliced thin, and had so much fat on it that by the time it was cooked it shriveled down to nothing. Thinner than your average piece of bacon. The other meats like the brisket and bulgogi were decent but you won't find any steak at this place. Makes sense though since this is a buffet type establishment. They also have some other food offerings like fried rice, california rolls, and various tempura. The one thing I really liked about this place was being able to get my own rice paper and radish and get as much as I want. Most korean bbq establishments can be kinda stingy with that stuff and you're constantly having to re-order. I'm not too familiar with the Riverside area, so not sure if there are any other korean bbq places around. But if you like buffets and korean bbq, then this may hit the spot for you. read more

So I've been to my fair share of Korean bbq places and unfortunately this might be the worst one I've been to. First it's not exactly the cleanest restaurant in general, some of the plates weren't cleaned properly when we got them. 2nd the service is inconsistent, when we sat they didn't bring us the normal things that other Korean bbq places already have out (potato salad, salad, kimchi, etc.) also the kimchi there is by far the worst kimchi I've ever tasted, it seemed like they had just mixed cabbage with some type of sauce and tried to pass it off as kimchi. The meat seemed to be pre plated and left in a freezer cause when you get the meat it's still really cold. Seems like everything they give is pre portioned and left in a fridge. They had made us wait for rice for about 20+ minutes because it was cooking but when we got them all of our rice was cold like it had been in a fridge already. Oh and also the spicy tofu soup tasted kinda weird and the miso was clearly a miso that had been sitting in a warmer because it had reduced down so it was kinda salty and the seaweed was brown. Only redeeming factor was the fact that they let you order as much meat as possible but I'm assuming that's because everything is already portioned out in a fridge. Also they didn't replace our grill till it was completely black. I wouldn't anyone to come here because this was the service I got when it was slow, can't imagine how it is when it's busy. read more

The food, service, and price was good. I came with my family before Mothers Day and it was packed, there was a line outside (~15min wait). Because the restaurant was full, it was hard to walk through the aisles with food, especially for handicapped people (my grandpa is in a wheelchair). They only have a vanilla ice cream machine for dessert and I think there desert options could improve with more flavors, toppings, and variety (maybe red bean deserts, rice cakes, gelatin, or some Korean desserts). read more

Very Disappointed. My first time here and I asked on how the place works. Greeter just mumbled left and right don't mix, I asked again and she repeated the same thing with no clear instruction. I asked for a coke, never got it. Got a water instead. Never got a refill on my water which I drank with my first plate of food. Food was decent. A lot of the food items weren't being brought out as fast they were going on plates. A lot of sauces were empty. They did replace the grill frequently. I would've got a beer if I knew they had any, didn't know till I overheard someone as I was leaving. I was excited to come here as I live close by and pass by very often. Won't come here again.
