But they apparently only come with certain items which I asked about the second time but the waiter/owner didn't obviously understand what I was asking. Cafe was clean and quiet both times. Nice place, good food. Ordered Pad Thai, Galbi and Seasfood Pancake. The Seafood Pancake was very good, highly recommend it. The Galbi was good and the Pad Thai is ok. If you're in the mood for Pad Thai and got to have it, it's passable. Their Korean food is the best, I'd stick with that. With that said, I give Koriander 5-stars because of how hard they work, I'm a HUGE fan of family owned "mom-n-pop" businesses. Its so difficult to do and no one is perfect (some reviews are way too picky), this family works hard and put forward a pretty good product. Stopped here based on Yelp reviews on a trip through Oregon. The dining room had good AC on a hot day, and the staff was pleasant. Everyone liked their food. Generous portion on the lunch combos. Veggie bibimbap dolsot had good crispy rice. The kimbap roll was beautiful. The tofu on the pad Thai was nice and noodles were cooked perfectly, but the sauce was one note and would have been great with some lime (asked for some, but server said kitchen didn't have any) and more peanuts for some flavor and texture contrast. 4-stars for even being in Corvallis. Shocked to even find this place here. But makes sense since Corvallis should cater to the diverse student population. Service is nice, and the boss is a Korean dude, so you know there is a certain standard that is set. We had four dishes: 1) Spicy Pork hot plate - pretty decent. Definitely not as flavorful or deep as the Korean places you would find in Cali, but again, for being in C-town, pretty impressive. It does hit the spot. 2) Seafood Tofu Stew - FYI: spice can be made to order. We went ahead and got it less spicy. I enjoyed the broth, but it lacked seafood. Only one mussel, and maybe 2 shrimps at most. Toward the bottom of the bowl, you could tell there was the chili powder as it started to taste sandy. 3) Bibimbap: What one should judge a Korean place. Pretty decent. My family didn't want the stone bowl, as they didn't like the hardened rice. As such, the dish lacked the temperature hotness level, but overall minimal meat and mostly veggies. Good if you are looking for something "healthy." 4) Bulgogi stir-fry udon: Nice wok-flavored udon noodles. Disappointed with the tiny amounts of actual bulgogi. Wah-wah. $45 total. Not too shabby for Corvallis. Again, actually probably 3 stars, but I give it 4 for being in Corvallis. read more

Meats are cooked well, salad is cold and fresh-- no wilting vegetables; seasoning is done well. I've been to this place twice now, both with a group. So ended up going here a few weeks ago with some of my friends. The restaurant came highly recommended by my sister and her boyfriend so we were in the area and that downtown Corvallis so we thought when I drop by and we were all hungry and try it out. First off I love the location and the inside is really pretty with your food you get a lot of Korean side dishes not all I like to them but it was a nice touch and I enjoyed having the option. I ordered some kind of noodles I don't remember what they were but I think mine came with chicken and I loved it very much they want the glass noodles which I knew I was not going to like what they did have was a good flavor and it was amazing. Some other people at the table ordered some kind of hot plates on a burning Stone which were kind of cool one of them or spicy and a chicken and I very much like that one too after trying it. Service was great and our waiter was amazing and very nice and quite friendly refills on the drinks took a little longer than we would like but it wasn't a big deal we got them at the end before a bill so all-in-all I recommend stopping by if you're in the area and you're craving Korean I don't think you will be displeased! read more

We were really disappointed after reading the reviews here. My husband had the bulgogi beef dinner. The beef was a bit dry on a bed of onions. My pad Thai lunch was also dry and both were bland and a bit flavorless. There was also way too many onions, no peanuts, and hardly any sprouts. The waitress brought us the bill before we'd finished eating since her shift was ending. I suspect that's a management problem but I've never worked in restaurants. We had been considering trying the gelato but since we had to pay before finishing our meal and given the quality of the food we skipped it. read more
