Sorry, but they're not really authentic knafeh. They're far too oily and the noodles seem to always be slightly stale which may be from how it's prepared. I've had knafeh all my life and it's a nice attempt bc there aren't many knafeh options in the valley and it's nice to support a small business, but the 2 visits we had to try various ones were all met w mediocre reactions. The original one is the most bearable. I think they need to rely on a bit less oil and a bit more syrup on the original too. Also, note that if you're not eating it right after it's prepared and warm, then you will just have a lot of oiliness in the container. Worth a try, but I think it's more so a gentrified version of knafeh. read more

Uh oh, I'm afraid I have fallen for the Dubai chocolate and pistachio trend. Fully went it expecting it to be hyped up good but not return worthy. Welll I am happy to say everything we got was FREAKING DELICIOUS. Like the guy who took our order said, it really was a slice of heaven. Oh my goodness. My daughter brought a dubai chocolate strawberry cup home last Saturday from this beautiful little stand and I couldn't believe how delicious it was. She said the man who helped her was so kind and handsome (Lol). Shoutout Eddie! She said he took the time to explain the different menu items and recommended what he thought she'd like. Gave into the hype and found this pop-up, Korner K'nafeh, for Dubai Chocolate Bars. Parking is a little hard to find but the chocolate is worth it. Wouldn't normally pay so much for a chocolate bar but it is giant and not easy to find around here. The chocolate was delicious and melts in your mouth. I left just now and ate a giant milk chocolate bar with my kids. We also took home a white chocolate biscoff for later. Thank you for the recommendation by the seller himself. This has been on my list and I finally got to go! Flavor of the month was Dubai chocolate (which they also make and sell the bars as well!) - pistachio knafeh with Nutella was just to die for. So good. My favorite was the traditional, just because that's just perfectly how knafeh should be. So crispy, buttery, cheesy, and perfectly sweet. I love how the three people running the stand are friends who just wanted to bring this awesome dessert from their culture to people with a fun twist on flavors. They're always raving about this spot whenever I visit them so I was in the area tonight and finally got to check out the stand myself. I immediately knew they were going to be good because of the line they had. Thankfully the line went by fast and they're the nicest people. Pop-up at the corner of Reseda & Chatsworth. Never had anything like it and it SLAPS! On top of that the guys were so SUPER nice. Shout out to Patrick for taking the time to explain what Knafeh is and EVERYONE right now is obsessed about Dubai chocolate. I highly recommend getting the Traditional for the full experience. Love the melted cheese w/ghee butter and the crispy Knafe over it topped with pistachios is quite the experience. You have to eat this warm. The cheese oozes and the taste of the butter and the crunch of the Knafe is so comforting. The cake is like perfect. Very light, moist with the Knafe adds a very nice touch to the cake. The Strawberry cups are so delicious! Best when eaten in one night. Don't bother saving this because the juice from the strawberries will ruin it. Last but not least... the dark Dubai Chocolate Bars is a must! So worth it. So much fun sharing with your loved ones. I can't wait to go back again. read more

Give it a-go!!! Best Dubai chocolate so far. Filling to chocolate ratio was perfect. Plus these guys use good quality ingredients. I also tried Heaven on Earth which has a very moist and light chocolate cake with pistachio filling in the middle with chocolate ganache on top. I know it sounds super decadent but trust me when I say it was the lightest and airy chocolate cake dessert I had tried. Lastly the pistachio K'nafeh. My first time trying and I wasn't mad at it. Drove by this stand one weekend, checked there Instagram and saw they sell the viral Dubai chocolate bars. We finally got the chance to stop by lastnight but they were all out of milk chocolate which is the one I went for. They offered me a free chocolate bar in either white or dark which was really nice of them. While there we also decided the try they're main dessert, K'nafeh. They made it in the Dubai chocolate style which was amazing! I'm huge on texture so I loved the fact the even thought with chocolate and toppings it kept its crunchy texture :) The owners where just as pleasant they're were very friendly and up beat which sets an exciting environment. I would recommend getting there early in their setup to be able to find everything on the menu :) read more

Having never tried the Dubai pistachio chocolate bar before, I found it to be very good and would definitely buy it again. It was a big hit in our home. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey. I f******* love this place, I have been coming here for about 3 months. I started out with their chocolate bars ($20 - $25)which are spectacular, but I started to go order their traditional Dubai chocolate k'nafeh ($15 cash). The combination of ingredients is only defined by what I can describe as that one scene in ratatouille when the small rat was eating strawberry and cheese and he started to see colors. That's exactly how I would define their desserts. Beyond their excellent food, they have excellent service, everyone there is friendly and patient with so many customers who have never tried such a thing.
