The potatoes had a lot of flavor and the gyro plate portion is massive - you can easily make 2 meals out of one gyro platter - generous portion sizes. Old school gyro, Italian beef, hot dog joint. I've passed this place many times and have never been in. Well, the fries were crinkle cut and thick N Crunchy. Perfectly done. Nice size order too. The gyros sandwich was good and plentiful with meat. I did the sauce on the side to keep things neat to eat. Meat was hand trimmed off the spit and had a nice crispy texture. Thinly sliced tomatoes and onions were easy to bite and overall this was a solid choice for a quick lunch. Next time I'll try the beef. Kosta's has great food. It is a place where they know what they are doing! They have great gyros, chicken, really good Greek potatoes, and my son reports they have great burgers! This is my local go to place for gyros - they have enough meat to get two meals out of an order. Fries are always hot and crispy, which is how fries should be. The food takes time to prepare after you order, so you may have to watch sports on the t.v.'s in the dining area while they work on your order. Nothing is pre-made and sitting around under heat lamps - they make it after you order it. As I said, at Kosta's they know what they are doing. They have it down to a science. read more

This place is great! The food is all made fresh. The cream of chicken rice is always available and the gyros Is delicious! They have a couple creative variations of the gyros including a southwestern gyros sandwich with pico de gallop, jalapenos and cheddar. The baklava was perfect after I ate the gyros with lots of onions. It wasn't too sweet and was very flaky. Customer service is phenomenal. Uzy was at the register and he is just so pleasant and engaging. If I owned a restaurant, he is exactly the kind of employee I would want as the face of my business. read more

This place has been a staple for the locals for 40 years or so. I used to come here when I was in high school in the late 70s and the food items have gotten better and more diverse, but yet largely stayed the same. Still the best place to come for a great meal under $15 per person. Plenty of seating and parking. read more

We have been long time customers. Loved this place but now not so much. We drive over an hour to get their food but this is the 3rd time the food has been subpar and/or missing items. We placed an order today. Got it home and again it was incorrect. 1. No topping for the burger which we asked for on the side. The burger was also much smaller than before. 2. Greek potatoes were dry and old with no juice on the side. 3. Coleslaw was tasteless and gray. Had an odor. 4. Soup was all broth, no lemons or crackers on the side which we asked for. 5. Gyro was ok but no cooked the way we asked and again no topping on the side like we asked for. Basically the entire meal was thrown away. It was a waste of a drive and a waste of almost $45. Unfortunately, we will not be back, our extended family will not be bqck, several friends the same and our business will no longer order from them weekly for our staff of 12. read more

I've ordered from here several times, few times in-restaurant, few times take out. The food is fairly standard quality. My kids love the cheese fries, and cheese pita which are not gourmet, by any means, but just good melted cheese on fries/pita. Cant really ask for more. The gyros meat is one of my local favorites. The portions are huge!! The tzatziki sauce is a little lacking in my opinion, but still good enough. My biggest problem is that every time I order from here whether in person or online, there is always something missing from the order. They are very friendly and always fix the problem with a refund or make the food for you, but it is annoying... Food quality - great quick food Price- a bit expensive... $3+ for a plain hotdog?! Let me start off by saying that I've been a loyal customer for over 20+ years. The gyros are fantastic, but the last few times the sandwiches (which are over $10 now with tax) have been light and small. I gave them a call to let them know, but the girl that answered said 'you can order double meat'. I said I understand that but as a customer I'd never had to do that the past 20+ years.
