My friend recommended this place and I'm so glad I discovered it. The menu has several options and are listed by several different continents. America, Europe, Africa, etc., so it is very unique and there are lots of options. We ordered the Croqueta's to start, and I have to admit that I was surprised about how good they were. I had the fried snapper with mashed potatoes and fried yucca. I really enjoyed it. It was still moist and flavorful, even under the breading. For dessert, I had the Guava Blondie, which was also a standout. The textures were soft, crunchy, and ice cream to top it off. I went on a Monday night so it was not very busy. The staff came over often. And it's a nice cozy ambience inside. I hope to go again soon and try something new from another continent. This is the type of place you can go again and again and discover something new every time. I recommend.

First time visiting, no reservations. Didn't think we needed one but ut was a full house. Decided we definitely wanted to wait because now I was very curious. About 20 minutes later we got a table. Ordered- red sangria, tasty. Appetizer- Crispy Shrimp was delicious, 5 pieces with a sliced avocado. Main- Bandeja Paisa, pleasantly surprised with how good it was. Definitely shareable. No room for desert. Will be back for other options which looked really good.

I was really excited to try this place. Mostly bc this idea of a restaurant has always been my husband and I idea. To create a restaurant of the world. But boy did it disappoint!! We ordered a ton of- pulpo, sushi, salmon tartare a salad and chicken. The food was ok. Nothing too crazy. Everything had too much sauce which made it hard to give to my son who is diabetic. Ambience was ok. I feel like they could really turn it up and try to make it look like a restaurant of the world. Also service was ok. Our server felt a little cold and mean (like she didn't want to be there) Overall I will not return. But glad to try someplace new.

This restaurant is located inside a strip mall, but won't let it fool you, the inside is nicely decorated like a journey across continents. I like the concept of kitchen of the world which brings a variety of flavors like traditional dishes, Asian dishes, European dishes, African dishes, and sushi. I think this is a great place to take someone if they don't know what to eat because here you have everything on the menu! For starters, we ordered the sushi pizza which was absolutely delicious. The crispy of the rice and the fresh of the tuna. We ordered the Alaska truffle roll, which brought crispy salmon, cream cheese and avocado. It was a perfect burst of flavor. The fried salmon really elevated the roll for me texture and taste wise. And for my final dish, I ordered the short rib ravioli. It was a perfect blend of creamy and savory. My friend ordered the short rib Ramen, but it wasn't like a traditional Ramen broth so it wasn't my favorite, but still pretty good. And for the drink drinks, we had a Moscow Mule and a coconut drink. That was a little too sweet for me. Overall, there's a lot of good flavors and options on this menu .

Absolutely love KOW in Kendall! This restaurant has an incredible variety of dishes inspired by flavors from all over the world. Whether you're in the mood for Latin, Asian, or American comfort food, they've got something to hit the spot. The Bandeja Paisa is my go to! it's flavorful with the right combination and done right every time. The bar is fully stocked with great drink options, and the staff is always friendly, helpful, and genuinely seem to care about serving the customers I've been here multiple times and it never disappoints. KOW (kitchen of the world) Definitely a cozy, medium sized restaurant I totally recommend!

This place was spectacular! Everything we ordered was an explosion of different flavors. The tostones with pork belly were amazing as well as the flatbread. The flatbread is on the sweeter side. The sweet chili wings were juicy and the perfect spice. The arroz con pollo was great with a perfectly fried egg. My favorite was the surf and turf braai. It was seasoned to perfection. And of course we had to save room for dessert. We ordered the coconut guava blondie which was divine! The tiramisu was an experience as you get to pour the espresso yourself. I cannot wait to come again.

I have ordered delivery from here a bunch of times on Uber eats but have never been in person. We decided to come after my kids eighth grade promotion to celebrate. We started with the hoisin wings- these are a fav. The Tequenos as well are yummy- come out hot and fresh. The kids had nigiri and sushi pizza- they lived the pizza. The salmon nigiri was cut a little too thick and didn't taste the freshest- we sent it back and they were happy to address the issue. I had the lomo salteado- pretty good. My husband had the piripiri ribs/ these were tender and yummy with a dry rub. The kids reported back that the sushi roll and ramen were yummy. The service was great, they checked in on us and the food was brought out timely. The seating area is large and was able to accommodate our part of 5 with no issues. They had some bossa nova music playing we had a nice vibe. Good choice when on west Kendall and looking for variety!

I've been going to this gem since it first opened in 2019! It never disappoints, and only gets better. My favorite appetizer is the steamed gyozas, they are so delicious and perfectly cooked. The staff is welcoming, and helpful with questions when choosing from their extensive and versatile menu. So many great options and you will love what ever you order!

Food was good (not great) and the service was absolutely terrible. My boyfriend and I came here on a Monday night and sat at the bar. We ordered our drinks (really bad) and were served by a woman that could not care less if we were there. She was more interested in the conversation with her coworker. The two girls stood at the other side of the restaurant/bar and talked the night away as we waited for her to come back when she wanted to for refills, ordering more food, etc. and it wasn't like we couldn't see her.... We were in clear view of her not working or waiting on other people. She literally had the worst attitude as if it was an inconvenience for her that we were there. We ordered: Europe: Pulpo a la Gallega Burrata Sampler Japan: Sushi Pizza America: Tostones de Cerdo Overall, the sushi pizza and the Pulpo were probably the best items. The octopus was seasoned well. Sushi pizza was filling so I liked it. The burrata sampler was a let down and the tostones were not memorable to be honest. Would I come back here? No.

The food was good! But I'm giving 3.5 rounding up to 4 stars because the service could have been better. When we got there the waiter had put out two menus for 3 people. I had requested a menu which I never got. Then after we had made our decision it took the waiter a really long time to get to our table for some reason to get our order. If there are delays like that, there should be some kind of bread at the table if you're planning on making people wait for a while.

The food here is delicious but the service is hit or miss! We come here often and recently they have raised all the prices, which I completely understand, but they do not inform the customers how sides changed will be charged at the full up charge. Just be aware when eating at this place to ask questions especially when picking sides or making changes. My husband and I both got the same dish, he got fries and I picked the pasta as my side. His dish was $19 and they charged me $29 for mine...just did not appreciate the way that was handled. Perhaps it was o it our server who didn't explain but like I said it's always hit or miss with service there. read more

Love the place, use to be a good Mexican restaurant but now it's is a new place decorated wonderfully and the food is amazing great specials everyone was really nice and friendly, Andrea explained some of the dishes to us and checked to see if we were satisfied she took care of us like royalty. I was referred this restaurant by a friend of mine. I later found out it's from the Boca Group which has really good restaurants. So I was excited to come here with my wife. The food was exceptional. The menu focuses on 4 parts of the world: Asía, Europe, America, and Africa. So it's a cool concept. And they back it up with the food. My wife had the Short Rib Cazuela and I had the Asian Skirt Steak. I totally recommend those plates. And we had the Tiramisu for dessert, I promise you've never had a Tiramisu like this one. We will definitely come back to try new plates. Happy to see they are opening great restaurants out West. read more

Good service bad food and bad management. I ordered shrimp, they were fried served with sweet and spicy sauce, tasty. Also ordered wings in hoisin sauce, good. For the most part everything went well until I ordered a ribeye steak medium topped with sautéed onions. I asked for the steak medium so when I got the steak it looked old not pink almost white and tuff as if it was defrosted in hot water before it was cooked. I sent the steak back did not want anything else. When I got the bill they discounted the check $19 when the steak was $36. I had to complain to get the complete price of the steak taken off of the check adding to the disappointing experience. Hopefully they won't do this to anyone Else, horrible , I will never go back. read more

The worst food ever. Feel cheated. Over priced. Charged us $52 for a steak that was awful. $52 for a steak that isn't even worth $20? Don't be fooled by the pictures. This is not a steakhouse in the Gables...this is West Kendall. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. In addition, if that wasn't bad enough, they brought us the check with someone else's charges. I will NEVER go back to this place. Not good at all. If I could give the "0" stars I would! We live in the area and decided to give this place a try. My husband and I ordered the pork belly ramen and the Asian style steak. Both were very tasty and worth the price. The steak was cooked perfectly. I wasn't a fan of the fat on the pork but then again... that's pork belly. The kids shared a grilled chicken with rice and plantains. The chicken was tender and juicy and the plantains were one of the best I think I've had at a restaurant.. even my 9 year old pointed that out. Our server, Andrea, was very nice and attentive. French fries were mistakenly brought instead of the rice and she immediately brought out the correct side. Overall the ambience was pleasant. I waited until the next day to write this review since that's when I really know if the food was good quality lol. But I must say I would come back again. read more

Apologize in advance for not having pics...but that's usually a great indicator that our food was yummy. I saw this gem on Yelp and knew I had to try it. Especially being a sister company of Bocas House. I love the concept of different foods from different continents all in one place. That in itself was amazing. Now the fun part. The place is in a shopping center. We were able to walk in a were seated right away. They did away with menus and you can scan the menu as the code is on the table. To start we had the tequeno pops. They were so good. Super fresh, and the guava marmalade was delicious. Nice touch. For dinner we had the Venezuelan arroz con pollo and the pasta Alfredo. They were both really good. But I will say, the cream on the Alfredo sauce was soooo nice and rich. It was honestly the better dish. So good. On Sunday they also have a special for $15 for bottomless mimosas. I tasted the regular mimosa, passion fruit, and the Bellini. So. Good. You must try! I recommend this place for sure. I will surely be back soon. I have my eye on a few other items! read more

Came in for my Birthday dinner, the vibe is very homey and not what you would expect from the outside in a good way. The concept is also very nice, with various dishes from diffferent continents, I decided to go with Europe and try the Crab Ravioli Au Gratin paired with a Rosé wine Sangria, which were both incredibly delicious. The inside of this place is surprisingly good since it is located in a very inconspicuous plaza and I like their menu style with food from different continents. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was very busy. The food was good but it took a very long time to get to us. I do not blame the cooks or server at all however. Pretty solid food and prices are not bad considering the current economy. Look to spend around $60-90 for two people depending on the dishes. I spent $74 for two appetizers and two entrees. The food profile is really flavorful and diverse. I got the Alfredo pasta w/ fried chicken and it is arguably the best I have tried in the city and I have tried over 13 dishes of pasta fettuccini Alfredo around Miami so I know a thing or two (I hope so). I have only ordered once from this place and never again. I don't understand how this place gets good reviews. I ordered the Arroz con Pollo $16 and the hummus dish $11. The total with tax and tip was $32 and what I got was the worse hummus I have ever tried and a plate of rice with a couple of chicken nugget size pieces of chicken. It was the most expensive plate of rice I have ever bought. Horrible. read more

I ordered delivery directly from the restaurant and it was very quick and easy. I ordered the KOW style fettuccine Alfredo and it was delicious. A little salty but not to bad it was still hot and the chicken was actually crunchy (it was fried chicken). I also ordered the chicken wings, it was ok. My husband ordered the shrimp intruso wok. He said it was okay a little plain maybe if he added chicken shrimp and steak it would have been better. Pictures are below. Overall staff was friendly, quick and got the order correct. Visited KOW on Friday late afternoon but before the dinner rush. We were happy to discover they have happy hour from 2-7pm Monday to Friday. Had the best mojito for $5, amazing! We decided to just do a few appetizers, we had the Asian wings, tostones with pork and dumplings, to finish off for dessert we had the Blondie. Everything was delicious. The service was top notch. So we were not planning to come to this place, we just found it on yelp and said lets go. You need to plan and HAVE TO make a reservation! The place gets packed super quick and you could be waiting for an hour for a table, like us. But man it was worth the wait! The idea behind the restaurant is so neat! They provide you with menus from around the world and sectioned by region. It was Asia, America, Europe, and Africa. Each region had its own set of appetizers and main dishes which I was so impressed because it was so many options! The inside is so well decorated, and there is a little window where you can see the chefs making and cooking which is always nice to see. Despite the fact that the place was super busy, and it was valentines day, we got our food relatively quickly. We ordered an appetizer from the Europe menu, the gnocchi and cheese and OMG. I am a huge cheese lover and that was so delicious!! For entrees, I was so overwhelmed by the options so I asked our server what he recommends. I am so happy I listened and man it was FANTASTIC! From the Europe menu, smoked short rib ravioli. I have never had anything like that and it was so amazing. My date got the arroz con pollo from the America menu and it was so yummy! Food was really good. There is many choices from all over the world. No wonder it is call kitchen of the world "KOW". Enjoyed the food, the sangria and chocolate cake dessert. We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.

Michael, the food runner, came over personally to explain the situation and was so friendly, cool, and professional. The manager, Jojo, was also fantastic. I honestly can't believe this place has only been open for a month. I've lived in Miami my whole life, and this was hands down some of the best service I've ever received--and that says a lot! I was very surprised that this restaurant has managed to keep their rating as high as they have. The food is subpar at best. The service is mediocre. And the price range is not worth what you receive, in my opinion. They have a great beer selection, though. I would rate the ambiance a 3 it was nice, but the food except the Picana was a 1. The asian shrimp dish tasted like the store purchased good coconut shrimp with decent Thai chili sauce. The Pina Colada started off tasting.Great.But as time went on, and it melted, it seemed more and more like pineapple cocunut ice cream mix with pineapple juice, but the cup was a1 but they forgot to put the alcohol we paid for inside lol... Kitchen Of The World was definitely the first thing that caught my eyes. This restaurant takes you on the most amazing universal travel experience you could ever dream of, from Asia to Europe, to America and Africa. I tried to order at least one thing from each continent and let me tell you, personal recommendations have got to be the Ramen and their signature burger. A MUST-TRY! Service was definitely outstanding, by Carlos. If I closed my eyes long enough, while tasting the amazing flavors, I could almost feel in some other place other than Miami. Not sure why this gets such good ratings, yes it does have many options but I tried one thing from every country and honestly wasn't impressed especially for the cost. The shrimp was probably the best appetizer and the shrimp tasted freezer burned!!! The onion soup was basically onion water with a piece of toast on top.,The Gordon was just awful not really sure what that was. The burger was ok, definitely the better of the two meals.
