First time visitors and it did not disappoint! The Staff was great, food was delicious, and environment clean. The woman at the front came back to our table to ask us how everything was and it was just overall great.

I loved this place! The cashier was very nice, attentive, and willing to give suggestions! I was between the avocado and mushroom burgers and ended up choosing the mushroom burger with fries. The fries were hot and crispy - stayed warm for a while which was a pleasant surprise. The burger was so juicy! It was a perfect balance of sweet and salty and I enjoyed it a lot. They even have their own trivia game on the TV that you can join. Perfect place for friends and family. I'll definitely be coming back to try their other burgers!

Service here is quick and friendly. You order at the counter, get a number, then have a seat at one of the tables. There aren't many tables available, so it's first come first serve. There are nice murals on the walls that go really well with the vibe of the place. We got the sweet home avocado and fire on the mountain. Both were yummy and super filling although I preferred the fire on the mountain more. Their fries are yummy--thin cut and super crispy. The truffle parmesan fries comes with a truffle aioli that (pro tip) pairs well with the burgers as well.

Why 5 stars? Because these burgers tasted just as good as they looked. --- --- --- Okay, that's not fair - I only had one burger. But it was so great that I can only assume that all of them are. I had a tough time choosing which one to order and eventually settled on the KTown. I loved every bite of it and wouldn't change a thing. The photos made these burgers look like they were the side of your head and not easy to actually take a bite out of. But it turns out that they are actually quite manageable. And delicious. Did I mention delicious? I also couldn't resist ordering the honey butter fries, which caused me to ask the very important question: why aren't honey butter fries a thing? These were also excellent and officially put every other fry serving restaurant in America on notice: but honey butter on top of dem thangs if you like money.

Delish as always!! I love the mural and the detail! The bun is perfectly crispy and the meat goes all the edge! Everything was so well thought out in regards to each burger. Fire on the mountain goes hard!

Despite the many excellent nearby options, Kowbell Burger is always a solid choice. The Kowbell cheeseburger is phenomenal and consistently good. It's a solid, hearty burger with great quality, and worth trying. Their fries are also tasty, and the service is friendly. Five stars.

The food was phenomenal!! My wife and I got two different burgers. One was the K-Town cowboy burger. The taste from kimchi jam was amazing added along with the amazing crunch from the bacon this burger I would definitely recommend. The 2nd burger was the fire on the mountain. The pickled jalapeños gave this burger a great heat and was great to eat. The service provided by the staff was top notch. The atmosphere of the restaurant was chill and made you feel welcome.

Excellent burgers! A bit pricey but so worth it. It was around $50 for 2 burgers, fries and 2 drinks. The buns were so fresh and the patty was cooked to perfection. I went for their classic burger with kimchi but got that on the side and my husband enjoyed their mushroom burger. Top notch for sure! Will definitely return!

Food - 8/10 while it was a very good burger, it was the price for the burger that ended up taking 2 points for me. I don't think it was worth almost $13 by itself. It doesn't come with any sides either, those have to purchased separate. The fries were good but could have had more kimchi and more toppings in general but when I asked for more kimchi, they were more than happy to give me some more. Service - 10/10 I needed extra toppings for the fries and they were more than happy to oblidge. Ambiance - 9/10 It's a quirky interior but nothing over the top. I'd come back if they had a combo instead of having to purchase everything ala carte.

I was craving a burger and I am soooo glad I came here!!!! There sweet potato fries with ketchup and there special tiger sauce were so so good!!! Then the burger I got the K-town Cowboy Burger and I added jalapeños was phenomenal!! I got extra Tiger sauce on the side and wow this meal was everything this pregnant mama wanted/needed!! Can't wait to take my husband back and try out more!! The service was great - employees were very attentive and nice! And the atmosphere was nice and clean. I was shocked I was the only one at first but then more people arrived towards the end of my visit. Definitely recommend trying :))

I think this is my new favorite burger spot in Katy. Kimchi on a burger? I shout out YES! I sent my daughter to pickup a couple of burgers and some krazy fries. We ordered the honey butter fries and they were pretty good. Definitely was not the taste I was expecting. Yes, they had an option to add an egg to my kimchi burger (ie. the "Kowbell Classic")...so why not? This burger was big, filling and delicious. My daughter returned with our meals fairly quickly. This is a "must visit" in Katy. Next time I plan to try the "Fire on the mountain" burger.

We made reservations and were quickly seated when we arrived. The place is a bit dark when the sun goes down. Plenty of wine bottles lined up on the wall and a full bar. We went for their HRW menu. In addition to the regular menu, they gave a chef appetizer of Rockefeller Oyster. Nice touch. One comment though, when it was served, they put mine on top of the bread plate which I thought was odd. Oyster itself was very flavorful. For starters, we had the Jumbo Peri Peri shrimp and Jollof's Fire Bomb. The shrimps were just regular shrimps and was chewy. The Fire Bomb was tasty with brisket meat inside. We order the ribeye and fried red snapper for our mains. Suya Ribeye was very flavorful from the African spices. The jollof rice was delicious. My first time trying it. Kinda crispy and has a kick. Fried Fred snapper was well executed. My wife loved it. It was unfortunate that the restaurant was so dark that you can't really see your food to appreciate the effort that was put into it. It was a nice gesture that Chef Casey came out to talk to his customers. For desserts, we had the crème brûlée and banana fosters. Banana fosters was a big scoop of ice cream with couple slices of banana which was a bit disappointing. In comparison to other HrW restaurants, you can get more bang for the buck at other places. We would go back for the mains but skip the appetizers and desserts.

On the other hand, I want to recognize our waiter, who was excellent throughout the meal. Raymond was attentive, friendly, and did his best to make us feel comfortable again after the interaction with the manager. His professionalism and kindness were the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, the food also fell short of expectations. In particular, I would not recommend the mussels. The flavor was unpleasant and left a very bad aftertaste, making them one of the least enjoyable dishes we ordered. Good customer service isn't just about enforcing rules--it's about how those rules are communicated. Unfortunately, the manager's approach, combined with the disappointing food, overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.

They serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday until 330. The brunch menu is huge. It is not a super large menu, which I feel very endearing. We decided to try the bagel and lox with cream cheese, the Buzz burger with fries, and their homemade chips. They start off by bringing you this beautiful craft of bottled water. That to me was an amazing bonus. We also ordered two sodas which came in a can. I sort of wish it was a more of a fountain drink than one can of soda for the price. *Now service was super slow. However, the waitress did come and tell us that they are running a little behind and she apologized for it and she was super sweet, so that made up for the weight. How do I known how long it was going to take, I don't know if I would've stayed, but in the end, the food was amazing. The burger was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend is a hamburger snob and he kept saying how good it was how fresh it was and how perfectly cooked it was. They serve you shoestring fries that feel like they're double fried and they were phenomenal. My bagel was toasted perfectly and had a very good amount of cream cheese and lox. As a Jewish girl living in the area that I do, it's very hard to find good bagels with lox and cream cheese. I will most definitely be back for this sooner than later. The homemade chips took quite a while to come out, and at one point I was ready to say we don't need it, but these potato chips beat Buccees beaver chips, 100%. They were super fresh and very crunchy and tasted amazing. I will definitely recommend those to anybody that orders some. My boyfriend then ordered a tropical sunrise smoothie and it was so tasty and tasted like a strawberry banana smoothie. Now once again that did take a long time to come out and at one point, we were wishing we had not ordered it but once we did get it, it was really good and I highly recommend it. The restaurant is not very large and it's the perfect brunch spot for anybody looking for a smaller Cafe with very good choices.

They provide house made banchan (I loved their pickled radish, and kimchi). We ordered the original pork ribs, rice cake, and ox bone soup. The rice cake was spicy, and flavourful but came a little bit dry. The ox bone soup was amazing - loved that they allow it to be seasoned by the patrons to their liking at the table similar to how they do in South Korea. So if you are willing to order to go and eat in the comfort of your own home, I would suggest that as a good alternative. I came here for a group dinner that consisted of 11 people to celebrate a birthday. Keep in mind I had come with a reservation that was made a week prior. Throughout the reservation process, we made sure that a cake could be brought in for the birthday celebration, and was verified with the staff that it would not be a problem. Upon walking in to the restaurant, we gave our cake to the manager John and was immediately told that we would not be allowed to cut the cake after our meal due to there being other reservations. Our reservation was set for seven and the restaurant closes at 9. I'm not sure what other reservations they were expecting to have within that timeframe... It was very astonishing to hear this being that we had not even ordered or sat down at our table yet. This is my first time encountering an establishment refusing to allow paying customers with a confirmed reservation cut a simple birthday cake... Despite this unusual situation, we decided to wait for the rest of our party to arrive. While waiting, the servers repeatedly approached our table, pressuring us to place orders. After informing the staff that we were still waiting for a few more guests, they continued to insist that we order on three additional accounts. Once our entire party arrived, we carefully placed a specific order of appetizers and entrees, considering the varying spice tolerances among our guests, ranging from no spice at all to extra spicy. Upon receiving our food, one of the soups that was originally intended to be regular (meaning not as spicy) was unexpectedly filled with red peppers and chili flakes. Upon tasting the broth, it became evident that the soup was clearly not the intended spice level. We brought the issue to the servers' attention, hoping he would take the soup to the back and have it remade. Instead the chef confirmed that the soup was the correct spice level and sent it back out with the server. However, I'm not sure how he confirmed this since the food had already touched our table and been eaten... The only option they gave us was to add water to the soup... if that does not speak unprofessional I don't know what else does. After this incident, we were clearly not having a good time at the restaurant. The restaurant was starting to empty as time went on, but the temperature remained consistently hot. Being that the restaurant is small they should have better ventilation and air circulation. They only had one air conditioning unit at the front of the door, which was insufficient, especially in the Texas summer heat. As we were nearing the end of our meal, we asked for our refrigerated cake back. The server must have not communicated this request to the manager, John. He was fully prepared to allow us to cut the cake in the restaurant. However, after we received our cake, a different server came to our table and informed us that we would not be able to cut it. When we heard this refusal a second time, our entire party got up and left the restaurant after paying the bill. One member of our party attempted to clear up the communication with John just for him to blame the servers and say that we were allowed to stay and cut the cake. After the fact that we were all already standing outside of the restaurant with cake in hand. Overall, I would recommend the food, but don't come with high expectations of good service. Especially, don't bring any type of intention to celebrate with you, as it's likely to be miscommunicated or even prohibited.
