Hands down best new burger spot in Katy‼ Coming from a self-proclaimed burger enthusiast, the combination of Korean flavors here is just down right amazing. The K-Town and Holy Shiitake are literally the juiciest and savory inducing burgers I have ever eaten in the area. The menu also has a solid roster of other flavors and options to choose from ranging from a BYO to other signature burgers and fries that are equally addictive depending on your taste! My personal favorites: Burgers - K-Town - Holy Shiitake Fries - Honey Butter - Truffle Parm Sauces - Tiger - Truffle Aioli The owner is a very chill, humble and easy to approach person who takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows. Employees are very nice, open and attentive. For a new burger joint starting out, the ambiance is great. Nothing too grandoise, nothing too simple, very casual. It is clean and sanitary. The KPOP music isn't too loud and is nice to listen to. The interior is comforting and the designs are unique and have a charm to them. This is my go-to burger spot for my friends and family to hang out, talk and to just eat damn good burgers! Wandering around Katy's AsiaTown can give folks a nearly endless supply of food options. We decided to stay focused on our plan and not get distracted! The idea of Korean burgers sounded great and we headed over for a Saturday lunch. We were not disappointed! We were greeted immediately by friendly and welcoming staff. The menu options were explained and we made our choices (K-Town Cowboy, Fire on the Mountain, and Kimcheese fries to share). There was absolutely nothing waiting in a warming drawer or under a lamp. Everything was made to order! The sauces were awesome and proved to be a welcome change from the usual condiments. The kimchee was spot on, the veggies just right, the fries crispy, the burgers... OMG! Big patties that were cooked perfectly, toasted buns that were just right. Staff checked in on us to make sure we were having a great meal (we were... but why does this question ALWAYS get asked when I have just stuffed my face???). Five stars. This this used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Katy. I would preach about it all the time I went here on a Saturday night and unfortunately had a very lackluster experience. First there was not really a lot going on, but the workers still seemed like they were very busy when I came in. There was only three people on staff most likely not a manager in sight. Secondly, the food felt like it had lost most of it's nostalgic flavor I had asked for some kimchi, sweet potato fries, and what's left with a bite of kimchi and a lot of fries and then had my usual cowboy burger and it was no better than Whataburger. I don't know what happened in a few months. I have not eaten here, but I hope some changes are made if I were to dine again. I also found out that the tips do not go to the workers. I've worked in the service industry for a long time. Maybe you would have more workers if you tip them. It's a Saturday night. The burger was unique, the kimchi jam is an incredible add to a burger. My only disappointment was the fries. I tried two different fries and neither was something I'd pay to get again. Definitely recommend trying this place out for the burgers though. read more

Went on a Thursday and it was pretty empty. The burgers were so good! I got the tiger sauce on the side because I wanted to try it first and I liked it so I added it to my burger! The guy taking the orders was knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions and suggested the honey butter fries! My only complaint is I wish the fries were tossed in the parm bc it was just topped so the bottom fries were just plain! I thought the atmosphere was pretty chill! Great burger place located in Katy Asia town. The fire on the mountain burger definitely has a kick to it that I wasn't expecting! Fries are flavorful and crispy! Meal came out fast. The only downside is that you gotta eat fast since the buns will start to get bit soggy. read more

I thought our dinner at Kowbell was very good. The burgers (the classic for my wife and the shiitake for me) were cooked properly - they were juicy and well-seasoned. They tasted great. The fries were fresh, hot and crispy. They were seasoned well, too. Service was very good. The bathrooms were very clean. There aren't many reviews of Kowbell (at the moment) so when we read reviews when choosing a place to eat, we read the 1-star review of Kowbell. Frankly, I found that review to be unreasonable and spiteful. We didn't give it any weight. read more

They only offer one size that's enough for four people but I ordered them anyways to try. Over all I give them 2 thumbs up. Gave 4 stars because only one size fry. Alright, so I'm pretty traditionalist while. It comes to burgers (flat top made patty, cheese, bacon and a fried egg), but wanted to venture out because I love Asian flavors. I was in Houston visiting from California over Christmas break and took my son and my nephew to Kowbell Burger. My son loves burgers so I did a quick search on Yelp and decide to check this place out. Both my son and I loved the burgers we got. I got the Ktown Cowboy and it was big and juicy and super tasty. Even my nephew who doesn't really eat burgers enjoyed his burger too. I also got the truffle parmesan fries, also super tasty. When we were almost done with our food, the chef and I presume the owner of Kowbell Burger came over to chat with us and asked us how the burgers were. I told him they were awesome and he was super nice. The place is clean and has nice music playing in the background. Whenever I am back in Houston visiting family, I'll definitely go back to Kowbell Burger again. read more
