In Whittier there is no place nearby that beats this price and selection. It may not be the best ayce you ever had but it is definitely worth the price. Good sushi, service, and price make this a prime location in Whittier for ayce. I recommend coming for lunch and trying the quail shooter. I came here with my husband and almost 3 year old daughter the first week they opened and I was a bit nervous to come in since they had just opened and there were no yelp reviews yet. Everyone is extremely friendly! My daughter loves people and they were so friendly to her. The food was great too! We had all you can eat, and the food was delicious! I especially loved the calamari because it was perfectly cooked! The rolls are a decent size and what i really liked about them is that the crab meat has very light mayonnaise so you can actually have more flavor of the crab meat. Came in with a group of 8. Service was super slow. In the span of 1.5hours we only got 5 rolls, barely half of our orders. We also heard the chef loudly complaining to the waitress when we gave the paper back. We felt unwelcomed when we heard it so we decided to just pay and leave. Service was very slow! Arrived around 8 pm with a party 8. Not everything arrived with the 1st order and it took over 30 minutes for the first plate to arrive and very in frequently afterward. Do not recommend until staffing and service improve. read more

My husband came here for lunch and he really enjoyed it so we decided to come here on a Saturday evening. It wasn't too busy, we were seated right away. Waiters are polite but only 2 were working while we were here and they were busy but still checked on us frequently. The bento boxes are a good deal and the food is very fresh! It's a small joint and very quiet inside. The service was pleasant and prompt. My brother and I came for the AYCE for lunch and let me tell you, I think we found our new AYCE sushi place! We ordered six rolls, which I'm sorry I didn't not take pictures, I was starving and fixated on the deliciousness of the rolls! Tasty and oh, so good. You can taste how fresh the ingredients were. Some places have stale fried tempura as toppings for rolls but here, it was crunchy and savory. The price is pretty good for what they offer. I hope they get more service. The wife was craving some Sushi so she asked me to go on Yelp and look for somewhere around the area....We live in Pico Rivera so this place was pretty close and the reviews were also good. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and sat down at a table right away. Let me tell you that the staff here is very friendly and attentive. We placed our order and the food came out very quickly. I was impressed. My kids had the chicken teriyaki and veggie tempura which they loved. The wife and I had the Vegas Roll, Crunch Roll and California Roll.....Everything here was excellent!!! Alright so being a new place I decided to give it a try. It's AYCE sushi. Lunch price was $18.50. You get 3 rounds to order. I stuck to mostly nigiri and got a handroll and one cut roll. The service is fast and friendly. The presentation is spot on for AYCE as well as the portions. I like the fact they don't use too much rice in each order they make. Overall if you are into AYCE this would be a spot to check out for the price and quality. However I just find that I'm not a so big on AYCE sushi like this so much these days and would prefer higher quality a la carte style. Overall 3 star experience for me. read more

1st time @ this AYCE spot...not too shabby. The staff was very polite, welcoming and attentive. I really don't care who's preparing the sushi (Chinese, Japanese, Indian Chief) as long as it is good quality and tasty. You can't beat the price $22.95 per person for dinner. There is a wide variety of rolls. This place is pretty new so right at the moment their liquor license is pending so give poor Jeff a break. The establishment is very clean as well. I would mos def recommend this place especially if you want a quick sushi fix. We went for the sushi so that's what this review is based off of. We plan on going back once they are able to serve beer then we will try something else. I think once the license is in place it will be a cool little place to hang out in a pinch. read more

I've been going there since they opened and I've always had great things to say about that place. I ordered today at 6:50 pm and ordered some orange chicken and a couple of other rolls and total was $66 Dollars and I was told 20-30 minutes. I get there at 7:20 and food is not ready. I waited and noticed that they had a "C" rating, but I still waited for my food. At 7:40 I went to check how much longer and they said they were working on my orange chicken and it would be another 10 minutes. At 7:50 (an hour after I had ordered) the pager goes off and food is ready. I was a little bothered by the "C"rating and the long time it took for my food to be prepared. When I got home (less that 5 minutes later) I opened the orange chicken container and the chicken was cold. I know they were not working on my chicken like they said because of that was the case my chicken would have been hot. I won't go there again because it took too long, my food was cold and their rating by the health department sucked! Good luck to those of you who still patronize this business. read more

Been here several times. Tried their AYCE sushi and bento boxes. Previous experience is good except today. Our server is horrible! I always order from their lunch menu, bento box but upgrade the plain rice to fried rice. They used to allow that, then i asked the lady server and she immediately responded with "thats's not possible". I told her that we've been here before and they allowed that, she said that "maybe they are not looking at the menu". And added that she just started 2 days ago. Considering that she's new, she should have asked first and not instantly answer with a no to a repeat customer! Also, my co worker asked to have a menu because he still looking at it. Not even 5 minutes when she went back and asked if he's done with the menu. read more
