This is an awesome spot for their lunch special "lunch box", good for your buck, healthy non-greasy food.

Biggest ripoff in the world...don't order a kid's meal if you're age 11 or older, you get the same amount of food as a ten year old but get charged double the price...talk about age discrimination! If you want double vegetables instead if rice and vegetables you'll be charged an extra amount but you will not be told of it until you get your bill...No where on their menu does it state these extra charges will be added nor will the staff disclose this info to you before you decide to actually order it...DO NOT WASTE your money here, you'll get better service and food and Sunny's or even at Panda Express . read more

Came here to grab dinner with a friend on a Monday night. We decided to dine at a table & order sushi instead of sitting at the grill. Researched alot of different Sushi Restaurants in the city this had rhe best reviews. And it was for good reason! The atmosphere is very nice. We chose to sit in the dining area and could see the cooks doing their thing at the fry tables. our waitress was amazing and excellent service! Everyone tried different rolls and we shared. There wasn't a single bad roll. The stuffed chips and sake bombs where the perfect t start to our meals. If I had more time in El Paso I would eat here over and over! Food was OK, miso soup was cold and I've never had a shumi dumpling with cheese on it before but my 7 year old loved them. I'd love a truly authentic Japanese restaurant, but I've just come to the conclusion that won't happen in El Paso so this is probably the best I can hope for until my next trip to Tokyo. read more

Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! First time going the area where they would cook in front of you had a wait time so I ordered the old faithful beef & broccoli. However today I was able to sit at the coveted table like a child at the front of the ice cream line. The chef was entertaining, involved us in his tricks & I was able to greedily catch the egg in my mouth like a skilled hawk catching a delicious flying fish lol. Oh right enough about me, I had my friend with me so we ordered the shrimp & steak with fried rice & because I'm a fat girl I also ordered the Koze special sushi. I don't know how much crack they placed in the sauce he adds to the fried rice but I couldn't get enough of it I had to ask for extras. For my military & their dependents they offer military discount just let them know, flash your military ID or dependent ID & get your discount. Full disclosure they are a bit pricey so be mindful of that, however it's worth the cost for service & the deliciousness of the food. read more

The food is outstanding, but the service is slow and indifferent. Had the service been mediocre, it may have still deserved an overall 5 stars. Even after the waiter came to give us our bill, he failed to ask once if we needed a drink refill. We had the ribeye panini and the rainbow roll. Both very good. Would I come back? Where do I even begin, my wife and I went on Valintines day and sat at the grill. Everything about our experience was perfect. The waitress was very helpful and knowledgable about the drinks they could make(no menu yet). My wife and I got a old fashioned and a Manhattan and they were very well done. The grill chef was funny and interactive. Wife got the fliet and Shirmp and both were cooked too perfection and flavorful. I got the duck. I know, duck on a hibachi? It was the best duck I ever had, with an exception of my mother in laws duck. We also got two sushi rolls and I can promise you it's the best sushi I've had in El Paso. Better then sunnis! A friend of mine and I went to lunch at KOZE grill today. We had an excellent experience. The waiter (Claude) was knowledge about the menu and gave us some great recommendations. We started with the stuffed chips, which were wonton stuffed with cream cheese and crab with avacado slices. Then we shared two rolls, the playboy which was both of our favorites and the second was a roll on the special menu. Both were vey good. The playboy was great! We ended our lunch with the green tea cream brûlée. We had a great time. Excellent food. We will definitely be back. read more

Best sushi in El Paso! The sushi is fresh and delicious! The sushi meat was thick cut unlike most of the sushi places I have eaten at here in El Paso. My favorite roll tonight was the Diablo Roll. The sushi chefs definitely take pride in their rolls giving each roll a unique and appealing appearance. Not only was the sushi amazing, but their staff was also top notch and provided quick service and a friendly atmosphere. Koze is definitely my new favorite restaurant here in El Paso! read more

DON'T COME HERE!!! Omg this restaurant completely messed up my birthday!! We were 15 min late for our reservation and I called to let them know we were going to be late!! And they treated us like we weren't going to pay. The waitress and the manager kept insisting that we order and we hadn't even gotten our appetizers yet!!! Horrible service! Then I was like "seriously can I at least finish my beer before I order my dinner" and they were like "we have another reservation after you guys." uhhh you guys agree that that is not my problem right! We have had hibachi all over the country, and get a little picky now. We were pleasantly surprised with Koze! From their salad dressing to their yum yum sauce, the food and sushi in between, all great. We got hibachi meals, shrimp kids meal, steak and shrimp adult meal and a chicken adult meal. I also did an extra $5 share plate for my youngest child. We got a avocado bomb to start off. Avocado wrapped around spicy tuna with wonton chips to put intron. Delish. I only did 4 out of 5 stars because the prices were a bit higher than we have been paying lately. But, we decided this will be more of a treat instead of a "I don't feel like cooking" meal. Staff was friendly enough and was prompt with requests. The restaurant is pretty quiet. We had our two little guys with us and at times I felt like it was so quiet in there and that everyone could hear my kids. Luckily they liked the food so much they stopped talking and ate once they got it! My 2 year old wouldn't let go of the soup and salad bowls. A+ Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good teppanyaki meal! It is family friendly, but be thoughtful of others, as its small and quiet. read more

Took forever for someone to seat a table of two. The miso was way watered down. My shrimp tempura was cold when I finally reached my table. Took 30 mins to get a refill on water! Also ordered a El Paso roll. Finally took forever for them just to take our payment. They need to hire more people. read more

My parents and I had never been to this restaurant. While we were waiting to be seated one of the bamboo pieces on the wall fell on the side of my moms face knocking off her glasses. It could have been worse if it would have directly hit her directly on her head. She was in pain but dealt with it. The employees working made no effort to call the manager out to see what could have been done. They did apologize but shut us up by offering us two complimentary appetizers. I feel like taking legal action but don't wanna make things hectic. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because the food was good and we had good service. What bothers me the most is that no manager came out to personally apologize to us. I know its nobody's fault but this can have legal repercussions. read more

I was very upset about my last visit to this establishment. Everything was going well and our food was pretty good. They also made a decent margarita. We had to wait around for the waiter more then a couple times. We even had to get up three times to get our own plates twice and the soy sauce once! I was with my husband our 17 year old, 9 year old, and 6 year old. The worst part was when we got our bill! The waiter added 18% gratuity! Are you f$&@ing kidding me!!!! Don't get me wrong I am a good tipper but 18% for someone that made me get up 3 f$&@ing times at a restaurant??? Not to mention our table basically consisted of three adults and two small children! Obviously this waiter tried to take advantage because of his mediocre service! If the owner or manager bothers to read this it was at 7:00 PM in the dining area on January 6 and it was a young Caucasian man. Anyway as my fellow Yelpers know I never have used profane language in a review, and honestly I would not have minded paying the 18% if the service was great but it wasn't!
