KP's is a hidden gem. It's casual and quaint. The servers are very friendly and helpful. They are enthusiastic about the food, and they should be, because it's REALLY good. You have to have the cucumber salad as either a side or as an entree with grilled shrimp or any other protein. It's all good. It's also great for the wallet. My wife and I both enjoyed excellent open-faced sandwiches on homemade bread. She had the Reuben and I had the "Wild Turkey ". We left happy and satisfied. We'll be back next time we are in Amelia Island. read more

Very tasty! The menu has much variety, so it's not hard to find something tempting for all eaters. There is a fish, vegetable, soup, and starch of the day. I ordered the starch of the day, which was pepper jack grits, to go along with my blackened shrimp tacos. It was all delicious! The blackened shrimp had a yummy flavor with just the right amount of kick. The sauce on top of the shrimp was excellent. The grits were the perfect pick to accompany my shrimp. My husband had the chili cheese fries. It wasn't super fancy, but still tasty. The fries were not basic at all. They had a nice flavoring to them that added to the overall dish. The service was good, a little slow, but that's understandable with the downsized staffing due to Covid. I recommend!! Don't except a lot of atmosphere, it's basically just a room with tables and a bar, but the food makes up for the lack of ambiance. read more

Despite it being after 8 we were warmly welcomed by Emme . My Grilled Mahi sandwich was perfect and the secret sauce needs to be bottled. Sides of fries crisp and hot (I stole some of my hubs) and the coleslaw was fresh and delicious. Only recommend turkey club was served as a wedge (hero-sub) sandwich ... it may be a regional thing though. But we will definitely revisit! Prices are great too ! read more

The best food we have had on Amelia island and our at ding service!! We did the outdoor seating. The wings were sticky and flavorful. I had the founder tacos. Delicious sauce and generous portions of fish (wasn't a big fan of the mango salsa). My husband had the blackened salmon which was so moist! Their fries were soooo good. Portions were generous, everything we had was delicious, and service was very quick though we did dine early so I'm sure that helped since the tables were filling up as we left. We will definitely be eating here again in the future. I am here with my three girlfriends and we walked four miles to American Beach, so we were pretty hungry. The service was great! Willing to do separate checks and answer questions. I'm not sure if the owner was doing the cooking but it sure seemed like it given the quality and care that was evident in the food. We found this very unassuming place a couple years ago and it is now hands down our favorite place on Amelia. Food is always amazing and the service is even better. Try the French Dip if you are in the mood for a sandwich, it is the best anywhere. We are here this week on the island visiting from Georgia and we will be going to KP's more than once. read more

Same name but there must be a different cook in the kitchen. Initially, I was excited to see an old town favorite return but after the famous spinach artichoke dip was served with frito-scoops, all that nostalgia went right out the window. So nice to see K.P's back open. Large portions and the prices are so reasonable! We went for lunch and had the lasagna, which is offered every Thursday. It was delicious as always. So many great options including my favorite, swahili wings. They are open 7 days a week, and offer brunch on the weekends. They are now offering sit down lunch as well. Stop by their new location in the Berkshire - Hathaway plaza at the south end of the island. You won't be disappointed! read more

Honestly great place and worth the visit. It's about a 5 minute walk away from where I'm staying so I decided to take a look. My partner ordered the fish tacos which were excellent! However I mistaking ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. Now I understand this probably wasn't the best order but it sounded good. Soon did I find out though this was probably the only thing not to order. The sauce was just super thick, bland, and separated throughout. Some locals were sitting close by and I overheard one of them say to someone at their table "Never order the Alfredo sauce". Wish I was just given a warning or something by a waitress because there are so many better things on the menu. DO NOT GET THE ALFREDO SAUCE!!! read more
