    Fried Rice
    James ..

I was surprised to find that I really like this place as I have been disappointed lately trying to find new Chinese places that were tasty. This place has great deals and happens to be next to one of my fav Japanese restaurants too! We started with egg drop soup and it was thick and hearty, added a little soy and spice to it and it was great, the schezwan wontons were amazing as well and had an interesting spice chili sauce to them which was great (I used the leftover chili sauce to add to my other food as well). The beef and broccoli had a lot of flavor but was my least fav of everything we ordered. Not bad but typical dish. The fried rice was cooked fine and I liked the veggies they included, it had nice taste and complimented the food as well. The chow mein was delicious and had great flavor and fresh ingredients too. Service was quick and excellent. The restaurant is pretty small so any party over 4 will need to combine tables which is what we did but it worked out. This may just have became one of my new fave Chinese places!

KPB for sure is my new favorite Chinese style cuisine restaurant in my local area. Discovered it late last year on yelp around the time I moved to my place here in Santa Ana / Tustin border area. Have had it now 3 times and have been meaning to on review it. The beef and broccoli are really well portioned and they definitely deliver with the beef. Really good ratio of broccoli, carrots and beef. Standout out dish. The bbq is super good. Very flavorful. Tender and I like the cabbage it comes on top of. The orange chicken and Mongolian beef are two other popular standout dishes. Whether you're dining in or just picking up take out, you're in for a treat with this place. Its got higher quality ingredients and preparation than your average like fast food / express type Chinese joint. Also, their Thai tea is delicious. Not sure if they've always had it on the menu but I ordered it yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Also. Big shout out to Jerry who is always super friendly and helpful. Compliments to his excellent customer service.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was really impressed! The lunch specials ($13.99) are incredibly affordable, especially considering the current economy, and the portions are huge. Each meal comes with rice, a main dish, soup, and even two dumplings--such a great deal! There's also convenient parking right in front, which makes it super easy to stop by. I went a little after the lunch rush, so it was nice and quiet--perfect timing. Highly recommend!

Thai tea they had on a special for $1.50, sooo good.

This place is really good & good prices. Very friendly staff, get deals. I got a Thai tea for $1.50, very tasty and good portions.

Chicken Teriyaki, Kung pao tofu, Fried Rice and Egg Flower Soup

It was just okay. The food was either burnt or just bland. The egg flower soup was very thick. The fried rice was crispy like it was cooked for too long. Other than that the service was good and it was clean inside.

Food was delicious, service was great. I got: Kung Pao 3 Delight; fresh ingredients, good amount of chicken and shrimp, 2 pieces of beef. Not spicy. Walnut shrimp; fresh ingredients, perfect sweetness, good amount of shrimp Veg. Chow Mein; fresh ingredients, included (green onion, onion, bean sprouts, Napa cabbage, carrots, snap peas, mushrooms) serves 2 Thai Tea and Sweet Tea 10/10 everything was to go but they do have a clean establishment with seating available.

Ordered a bogo deal for lunch at work and I was pleasantly surprised by the portions and quality of the food here. Everything arrived packaged nicely with utensils and condiments. The orange chicken was light, airy and crispy with just the right amount of sticky sweet sauce on a bed of rice and broccoli The teriyaki chicken was also delicious. Not too sweet and prepared perfectly. The portions were just right for lunch and I enjoyed every bite. I ordered again a few more times cuz I was a fan! Can't beat the price a deal either! Definitely a lot of bang of bang for the buck. Will definitely keep these guys on my list of go-to's for lunch! Happy Eats!

Chow mein, orange chicken, wonton soup, kung pow chicken. Tasted great even after a drive

Tasty! Odd but cute location. Service was friendly and quick. We'll be back! Every dish was good - wonton soup, chow mein with pork, orange chicken, and Kung pow chicken. Exactly what we were looking for.

Don't be fooled by the word bistro. This is a solid Asian restaurant. The interior has a dark ambiance going for it. For any entree, you can make it a combo and get an eggroll and a bowl of soup. Our eggroll was pipping hot and the egg flower soup was addicting. Their family size can easily feed two and if you go throw this route, you can feed two with $20-25 which is so doable for an amazing meal. Food came out fast and the chicken was so moist - not dry at all. This place isn't busy enough. Show them some love!

I've been here several times for lunch with Hubby or friends. We've always been seated right away, and the food is brought out quickly. The Lunch Specials are reasonably priced and the portions are good. After paying over $12 for breakfast at McDonald's this week, $13.99 for entree, soup, potstickers, and rice was more to my liking. An additional 50 cents for a can of soda was fine. Hubby's Kung Pao Chicken was tasty. I have had Mapo Tofu and Curry Chicken that I enjoyed. My friend ordered Wonton Soup, and it had plenty of goodies in a nice broth. The only thing I would change is the flimsy metal chairs. The sturdy wooden tables should have better seats. Good parking in the small shopping center. We had a pleasant server (possibly Hispanic?) last summer. I hope it was just her day off this week, because she was helpful and chatty.

Yum Yum Yum. We tried several dishes on our recent visit. We got the Filet Mignon French Style, Eggplant, Pad Thai, Won Ton Soup, and Mongolian Trio. Everything was delicious. For a Tuesday night they had a steady flow of customers. Seating is small, but cozy. Service was great we were well taken care of. I look forward to going back.

We will make our own dish with sautéed ground chicken or pork, add the tofu pieces, and scallions and eat it with side of mustard greens, green beans, or baby Bok Choy. Good intro to Sichuan cuisine. It's very nice to try something new and we realized Sichuan Food is extremely spicy and needs to be balanced with a cooling accompaniment like cucumbers or greens to cool off the palate. There is ample parking in the center and a reasonable waiting period for the takeout order. Staff are friendly.

The puff bread was a bit too flour-y for me but I loved the honey butter it came with. I really hope the crab roe spaghetti stays on the menu because it was delicious, great portion, and had amazing crab flavor. The pasta was also well cooked and sauce not too creamy. The berry part of the matcha berry tiramisu was the strongest so I didn't detect matcha as much. They were kind enough to provide a small slice of chocolate cake a la mode with a candle for the birthday and it was actually a great balance of flavor, not being too rich or heavy in chocolate. I would order this again separately as a solid fudge sundae. The beef carpaccio, squid ink uni pasta, spicy miso carbonara, mentaiko pizza, and sticky toffee pudding are still solid as usual. Came back yet another time, and got the beef carpaccio because I just love the truffle flavor, the two sauces, and the arugula/apple bites in between. The only improvement would be smaller slices to make it easier to eat since the larger ones are hard to pick up. The crab roe spaghetti I had to get again for the summer menu in case they decide not to keep it for fall/winter because the crab flavor is so good. My friend ordered the seafood malfadine which I was apprehensive about considering my previous experience but WOW I was surprised by how different it was this time around because when I tried a bite, they REALLY turned it around. I'm so grateful my friend decided to order it because after trying theirs, I might start ordering it again for myself now. Not sure if I had it on an off day previously or they changed the recipe but it now is actually as flavorful as the spicy miso carbonara and might actually be even better. The sausage flavor actually adds a lot of richness without being heavy or overpowering, the spice is a good kick without being actually spicy, the shrimp is delicious, but I kept going back for the sauce. INI Ristorante is one of very few restaurants I consistently keep coming back to instead of trying other new spots in the area because I can't choose my favorite out of so many good things on the menu and just want them all so I need to come with bigger groups or rotate each time I visit. They seemed to really enjoy both. Service was great, and there was also plenty of parking, which is always a plus. Still a solid spot, especially for the cheese bread and calamari!
