KPB for sure is my new favorite Chinese style cuisine restaurant in my local area. Discovered it late last year on yelp around the time I moved to my place here in Santa Ana / Tustin border area. Have had it now 3 times and have been meaning to on review it. The beef and broccoli are really well portioned and they definitely deliver with the beef. Really good ratio of broccoli, carrots and beef. Standout out dish. The bbq is super good. Very flavorful. Tender and I like the cabbage it comes on top of. The orange chicken and Mongolian beef are two other popular standout dishes. Whether you're dining in or just picking up take out, you're in for a treat with this place. Its got higher quality ingredients and preparation than your average like fast food / express type Chinese joint. Also, their Thai tea is delicious. Not sure if they've always had it on the menu but I ordered it yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. Also. Big shout out to Jerry who is always super friendly and helpful. Compliments to his excellent customer service.

It was just okay. The food was either burnt or just bland. The egg flower soup was very thick. The fried rice was crispy like it was cooked for too long. Other than that the service was good and it was clean inside.

Food was delicious, service was great. I got: Kung Pao 3 Delight; fresh ingredients, good amount of chicken and shrimp, 2 pieces of beef. Not spicy. Walnut shrimp; fresh ingredients, perfect sweetness, good amount of shrimp Veg. Chow Mein; fresh ingredients, included (green onion, onion, bean sprouts, Napa cabbage, carrots, snap peas, mushrooms) serves 2 Thai Tea and Sweet Tea 10/10 everything was to go but they do have a clean establishment with seating available.

Thai tea they had on a special for $1.50, sooo good.

I was craving for Orange Chicken in my neighborhood and ended up going to KPB for a late lunch last Wednesday. Good lunch special menu which comes with a choice of hot & sour or egg flower soup + 2 potstickers for $13.99. Very generous portion and tender pieces of chicken with just the right amount of breading and orange sauce.

Listen here Americans. That's 60$ worth of food you're looking at here!!! This place is a miss!!! I don't understand why everyone likes the orange chicken so much, it's worse than Panda Express and equal to your hole in the wall place like "the Great Wall". The flavors are ok, it's one of those orange chicken bites that are mushy, steamed, and stringy, the kind of orange chicken bite that gets stuck in your teeth because it's stringy and mushy. But yea the flavors are there but not crispy at all. The only thing worth getting is Mongolian beef or trio. Anyone who gets the orange chicken for 15$ or says it's worth it is straight lying to you, it's just as equal to any random spot like Hong Kong express... it's mushy and gets stuck in your teeth. The fried rice was just white rice with soy sauce in a rice cooker. The chow mein noodles were good. Overall, It's good! But it's not as good as Panda Express (shame) but the Mongolian beef or trio is better things I've had: -Orange chicken (mushy, stringy, stuck in teeth, no crisp, just blobs of old fried chicken bites) -King pao chicken (looks good, tastes like vegetable oil with no spice, wtf?!) -Mongolian trio (heavy on the oil and green onion) -Mongolian Beef (oil and onion flavor) -fried rice (old white rice in soy sauce with no veggies) -chow mein (oil, soy, aromatic flavor but dripping in something) -BBQ Pork (again not bad but not as good as a random spot like Hong Kong express or Great Wall) AVOID AND MY PHOTOS ARE REAL

Ordered a bogo deal for lunch at work and I was pleasantly surprised by the portions and quality of the food here. Everything arrived packaged nicely with utensils and condiments. The orange chicken was light, airy and crispy with just the right amount of sticky sweet sauce on a bed of rice and broccoli The teriyaki chicken was also delicious. Not too sweet and prepared perfectly. The portions were just right for lunch and I enjoyed every bite. I ordered again a few more times cuz I was a fan! Can't beat the price a deal either! Definitely a lot of bang of bang for the buck. Will definitely keep these guys on my list of go-to's for lunch! Happy Eats!

Tasty! Odd but cute location. Service was friendly and quick. We'll be back! Every dish was good - wonton soup, chow mein with pork, orange chicken, and Kung pow chicken. Exactly what we were looking for.

Don't be fooled by the word bistro. This is a solid Asian restaurant. The interior has a dark ambiance going for it. For any entree, you can make it a combo and get an eggroll and a bowl of soup. Our eggroll was pipping hot and the egg flower soup was addicting. Their family size can easily feed two and if you go throw this route, you can feed two with $20-25 which is so doable for an amazing meal. Food came out fast and the chicken was so moist - not dry at all. This place isn't busy enough. Show them some love!

I've been here several times for lunch with Hubby or friends. We've always been seated right away, and the food is brought out quickly. The Lunch Specials are reasonably priced and the portions are good. After paying over $12 for breakfast at McDonald's this week, $13.99 for entree, soup, potstickers, and rice was more to my liking. An additional 50 cents for a can of soda was fine. Hubby's Kung Pao Chicken was tasty. I have had Mapo Tofu and Curry Chicken that I enjoyed. My friend ordered Wonton Soup, and it had plenty of goodies in a nice broth. The only thing I would change is the flimsy metal chairs. The sturdy wooden tables should have better seats. Good parking in the small shopping center. We had a pleasant server (possibly Hispanic?) last summer. I hope it was just her day off this week, because she was helpful and chatty.

I was craving Chinese for lunch and found this spot. First time, and I'll be back. I ordered the lunch special for $13.99. Ginger fish was my choice. It was served with soup, gyoza, rice, and egg roll. Food was good and service was excellent! Portions are big, so saved some for next days lunch.

Yum Yum Yum. We tried several dishes on our recent visit. We got the Filet Mignon French Style, Eggplant, Pad Thai, Won Ton Soup, and Mongolian Trio. Everything was delicious. For a Tuesday night they had a steady flow of customers. Seating is small, but cozy. Service was great we were well taken care of. I look forward to going back.

I enjoyed the golden beef prime noodle soup. The Beef was tender, soup was light and had the right amount of seasoning and spicynness. I wasn't impressed with the scalion pancake--it felt a little dry, a bit bland and very thin compared to those found in other restaurants. However the crispy chicken was excellent and a go-to for kids. The kid loved the drinks here such as the strawberry yakuit and the strawberry matcha iced drink. The restaurant seems always busy. We've been here several times before and what keeps us coming back is the quality of the food. Today, they had a new chef cook our food and it was terrible. Green beans were extremely sour (way way too much vinegar). Mapo Tofu had a ton of oil but not enough sauce, so it was just flavorless except the oil. The fried pork chop was over fried where some pieces you can't even bite through. The rice had too much water in it and was mushy. I rarely return food but this time it was so bad we had to let them know. We returned all of our dishes back to them. They let us know there was a new chef today, and they would remake all the dishes for us with the original chef. The replacement dishes were just as good as all our previous visits and it was excellent again! So thanks to the staff for fixing the problem. I'm not sure if they are training a new chef to take over, or as a backup, but they need to be careful as serving bad quality food like that would drive most people to never come back. We knew the food was good from prior experience, so we knew we could ask why the food quality changed. For first time customers, or those that may have ordered to go - if you had bad food today, it may have been a fluke due to the new chef. Service however was a amazing as usual. For all our visits including today, the staff has been kind and always looking for ways to help out and make sure we were having a good experience. So besides the food being good, I would say excellent service is also huge plus here. Don't be fooled with the automated ordering and robot delivering the food into thinking there is no service. The people behind the counter are awesome! Hope management takes care of this new chef issue quickly since their food quality is the main reason people come here. There was a night and day difference between the original food we got today, and the replacement!

We have eaten at EverSpring many times ever since they opened and my family loved it because it…read moretasted like authentic cantonese dishes. It had been a couple of months since we were last there and my parents and my daughter had been asking to go back and were really looking forward to eating there. However, we were so disappointed when we went back 2 weeks ago! The menu changed a bit, which was fine, and all our usual dishes were still there. We did notice that the cooks have changed and the original Cantonese chef was not there. I think the kitchen staff really changed how the flavors of the dishes for the worst. My 7yo daughter used to love their shrimp fried rice, but as soon as the fried rice came out, the first thing she said was "how come it looks so different from before." Not only did it look different, it was BURNT. It was like they fried the rice in a burnt wok so every grain of rice was coated in tiny black burnt bits. It was essentially inedible. They also just topped the rice with some tastless blanched shrimp instead of actually stir frying the shrimp into the rice. The green onion pancake used to be flakey with layers and expectedly oily for this dish, but the pancake we got this time was essentially a tasteless tortilla. It literally looked and tasted like a tortilla. No layers, flakes or oil at all and was the worst green onion pancake I've ever had anywhere. The fish with black bean sauce was acceptable, but it was definitely not the same. It tasted more like American Chinese flavors instead of the previous authentic Cantonese flavors. The only dish that I thought was still good was the stir fried eggplants, although my parents said it also tasted more Americanized. We are so sad that the food here has changed so much and it was one of the rare places my Cantonese dad actually said tasted authentically Cantonese in the area. The restaurant was full during our latest vist but we did notice that 90% of the diners and people ordering take-out were non-Asians. When we came previously, there was a good mix of Asian and non-Asian diners, so it seems like the clientele have shifted, which might explain the flavor changes or vice versa. The staff is still very nice and friendly, but it seems like the robot server has been laid off. I don't think we will be coming back again unfortunately as the food is no longer what we loved before. However, they seemed to still be doing well so others must still like it.

I was quickly sat down and brought my own pitcher of cold water. Upon letting them know, staff were quick to kindly explain my options for the meal. This spotlight let me try a signature noodle dish, side, and some of their broth as well. I opted for the oil-poured noodles with beef rib and the cucumber salad. They allowed me to select spice level on both which was nice. I also ordered one of the rock sugar pear beverages. I had actually asked my server for a cup of ice, but when I poured in some of my drink I noticed some debris of something had been on the ice. When I let staff know, they were very quick to address the issue and also brought me another bottle of the drink which I appreciated. The drink itself, by the way, was delicious. It reminded me of Korean pear drinks I've had but a little less sweet. The food also came out quite quickly. The portions of both the cucumber salad and the noodles are very generous. The beef rib isn't one of the back ribs that's mostly cartilage, but rather had a ton of meat. There were parts of it that were a bit difficult to chew, but for the most part it was quite tender. Also, I think if you ask, the staff can cut the rib meat up for you with scissors. The cucumber salad is fantastic at Six Alley. It's not only acidic and refreshing but somehow has a deep savory flavor without being heavy on oil. I was also worried about oil in my noodle dish, since some Chinese noodle dishes can be quite heavy on the oil, which was likely to be the case for "oil poured noodles". In reality, the noodles turned out to have just the right amount of oil and seasoning. The star of the show though really are the titular "biang biang noodles". They are very clearly hand pulled fresh, each having a slightly unique shape, and have a very satisfying chewy texture. The broth, while simple, had an incredibly deep and developed flavor. I'm assuming this is the same broth they use for their clear broth noodles. The food at six alley is great and the service matches it as well, something consistent with how I remember my first visit being as well. I will definitely return to try more of their menu, and am very thankful to Yelp Elite OC and Six Alley for making this happen!

A&J is an Irvine institution!! Can't even remember how much times I've visited in the last ten…read moreyears because it's probably my favorite Taiwanese spot in the area. It's about time I reviewed them! My number one dish goes to the minced pork rice- it's a pretty simple dish, but it's sooo good here for some reason. I've ordered this dish at other Taiwanese restaurants and nothing compares to the one at A&J- the pork is always SO flavorful, never dry and enough to coat all the rice, the egg is perfection, and all the little garnishes compliment the dish so well. It's also just as amazing takeout which I always appreciate. Other go-tos are the spicy beef noodle soup- the beef in it is always so tender and I love getting the thick noodle option because of the rough texture it adds. Beef roll and pan fried dumplings are always a good option for sharing. Have tried a lot of things on their menu and nothing so far has disappointed!

We ordered a variety of dishes to share, including the beef noodle soup, minced pork over rice, spicy wontons, fried pork chop, and scallion pancake. At first, the portions looked smaller than we expected, but the prices were reasonable and the food ended up being more filling than it appeared. We actually thought we'd need to order several more dishes for our group of four, but by the end of the meal we were completely satisfied. My favorite was definitely the spicy wontons. The wontons themselves were great, but the sauce was flavorful, slightly spicy, and addictive!
