I am working in Sioux Falls, SD and I had asked to try something unique. KPOT for the win Very fun cook your own. We both ordered the hot pot and the bbq for an extra $5. Food was very strong, great variety of meats, wide variety of sauces. Would eat here again

Amazing service and great food! I highly recommend that you come early as there was a line starting that lead out the door, even before opening. In terms of the process, everyone in your party has to choose to have BBQ, hot pot, or both ($5 charge per person). You order through a tablet for the meats and vegetables. They have a sauce bar and some side dishes that you can walk and grab yourself. They have music playing, so it may be hard to hear each other talk, but still, great place to go as a family! Highly recommend!

All you can eat Korean BBQ, count me in!!! The restaurant was self order when it came to food, which I found kinda pleasant. That way there is no rush in figuring out what choice of meet you would want next. I had the Prime Brisket and Spicy Beef Bulgogi, Korean Short Ribs and Shrimp.

This is the new korean bbq and hot pot restaurant that recently opened by my cousin's house. We were worried about the waiting times because nobody reservation allowed, just walk in. Our friends went first and were told the wait will be 1 hour. Then about 30 minutes later, they were called to be seated. Big restaurant with lots of booths. The booths were big enough to seat 6 - 8 people. Option to do only korean bbq or hot pot. Otherwise both experience for $5 more. There's an iPad to choose the toppings and meats of your choice. Otherwise server comes around to check up. The sauce and appetizers station is on the opposite side of our table by the bar. Definitely recommend.

This KPOT opened in Sioux Falls in 2025, it's a new favorite for the area, our first Korean BBQ! After having been to a few, there were a few things lacking, the portions were too small for two people, meat was presented too thin for grilling and nearly disappeared on the grill, the 2 portions not being enough for a lettuce wrap. The staff seems organized but overwhelmed, drinks take a bit to get, some things you won't (ice), my lemon martini was incredibly alcoholic (I had to add Mountain Dew it to drink.) and grossly over poured, this should be addressed- that costs a ton of money, and I'll spend less. Train or hire better bartenders. A smooth drink will make me buy more. The sauce bar was unnecessary, bringing sauces to people as they request in small portions would save you just as much money as your small veg and meat portions. Overall- It's a GREAT addition to the diversity of restaurant options in Sioux Falls, it creates a better understanding of different foods and cultures, especially for chronic under travelers like those in the Midwest. ;) The staff were wonderful (Eve), ours did a great job of remembering drinks, and topping mine up before I asked, on top of our checks, checking on us and explaining everything. 10/10 The wait was 30 minutes. The table was clean, the cost is incredibly reasonable, the food was great, the Kpot option for an add on is nice and The alcoholic drinks are decently priced. Over all 8-10, worth the money 100, worth the experience 10/10. Keep cooking KPOT, you're killin' it!

A Tale of Two Cooktops: Great Staff, Disappointing Food For a special birthday celebration, my wife, daughter, and I were excited to try the new K-Pot in Sioux Falls. We'd done hot pot and Korean barbecue before, but never at the same table, and the concept was intriguing. The first impression is fantastic--the restaurant is sleek, modern, and spacious, with a vibrant neon sign at the entrance. It's a great-looking place that promises a fun experience, and we were seated immediately at a table that felt like the command center of a culinary spaceship. It featured four individual burners for our soup pots and a large, oval grill in the center, with a massive ventilation tube hovering just inches above it. Our server was exceptionally friendly and enthusiastic, walking us through our options: hot pot only, barbecue only, or both. For a birthday, we went for both! He handed us a tablet to place our order, and this is where our first challenge began. The menu is vast, and seeing the all-you-can-eat option, we took it a bit too literally. We tapped away, selecting every meat, vegetable, and noodle that looked good, amassing a shocking order of fifty-five items. Our server returned, chuckled, and kindly explained that the process is to order a few things at a time, cook, eat, and repeat. Feeling like total newbies, we cleared our cart and placed a more reasonable order for our soup ingredients while deciding to hit the appetizer bar. The sauce and appetizer bar is impressive, with plenty of options and even recipe cards to create your own sauces. This is where the experience began to unravel. After getting some appetizers, we returned to our table, but our soup broths were nowhere to be seen. Instead, our first round of raw ingredients arrived: paper-thin slices of chicken and ham, meatballs, sausage, and veggies. With nothing to cook them in, we were confused. Our server suggested we could start with the grill. I placed a delicate slice of chicken on the hot, dry surface, and it didn't just cook--it instantly vaporized into a wisp of black char. Thinking I'd done something wrong, I tried a piece of ham with the exact same result. When our server returned (still no soup), he assured me I hadn't ruined the grill but suggested we save the thin meats for the soup and try the meatballs and sausage on the grill instead. This was only marginally better. They cooked at an excruciatingly slow pace, searing slightly on the outside while remaining raw inside. The whole process was bewildering and frustrating. After a full twenty-five minutes, our soup bases finally arrived with apologies but no explanation. We were relieved to finally start cooking properly. We dropped our ingredients into the bubbling broths (a creamy ginger herb for us, a spicy Thai for our daughter), but then faced another hurdle: there were no soup bowls. We eventually realized we had to go back to the sauce bar and grab the small sauce bowls to use. After all that waiting, the first taste of the broth was a profound disappointment. It was essentially bland, slightly flavored water. I found one tiny sliver of ginger in my pot, which could never hope to season the entire serving. We've been to hot pots where the broth is the star, but this was a pale, flavorless imitation. When I asked our server for some oil for the grill to prevent the charring, he explained that for safety reasons, they don't allow it. Forty-five minutes into our meal, we finally ordered the marinated barbecue meats. They cooked much better than the other items, but by this point, our enthusiasm had been thoroughly dampened by the long wait and tasteless soup. The one shining moment was the birthday celebration. The staff brought out a K-Pot bear mascot, a slice of cheesecake with a candle, and sang a loud, energetic, and genuinely joyful birthday song. It was a blast and showed a staff that really loves what they do. Our final bill for three people came to $135. For an experience that was so frustrating and a meal that was largely flavorless, the price felt far too high. The staff's spirit is the restaurant's best asset, but it couldn't save the disappointing food. If we ever returned, we would stick strictly to the barbecue. As it stands, this was a one-and-done experiment for us.
