Stopped by for lunch after seeing overall good reviews. The staff is nice so I not excited to write this, but I would not want others to have the same experience 1. It's Overpriced - Pad Thai + Thai Tea was over $21 and this isn't even a formal sit down restaurant. 2. It's Bland - I have NEVER had Pad Thai with just noodles and rubbery chicken. Thai fried rice with tofu .. LORDTY LORRD hands down great off the bat. Came here on a whim and I am delightfully blessed bc this is the best Thai fried rice I've had in chino hills by Far! My coworker told me about this place so I decided to try it out. I ordered the basil fried rice with skirt steak and a pad see ew with skirt steak. The basil fried was slightly above average compared to other places. The pad see ew was probably the best I've ever had though. It was very flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The meat in both dishes were juicy and flavorful. Definitely will come back to try more dishes. read more

So I've been here at least once a week since I first discovered this greatness. Their food is ! I've since followed them on their insta and found out they had featured some wings and tots last weekend but like the true SoCal girl I am, stayed home to avoid the rain. My friends came and RAVED about the tots so I took a chance and asked them if they happen to have any in stock and THEY DID. Now, my forever love is still padseeew but their soy yuzu wings and Thai tots . I'm definitely in love -- such a perfect balance of flavors! I DEFINITELY overate but never happier that I did! Good catch on this. Visiting my friend in the area and happened to encounter this place. They do not have a big menu which is good. Tried 2 different things and they are so good. Usually I would say it's your taste buds but this one is recommended good food. The service is really good and very helpful. It is in the food court but plenty of spaces. Third time here - SO GOOOD!!! Flavor is consistent and just genuine. I can't stress enough how unbeatable their wok flavor is - getting spice level 3 adds the kick of heat you didn't know u needed! I stumbled upon Kra-Pow because I was craving some Thai food and was shopping at Cravings. This is the best Thai food I've had in the Chino/Chino Hills area and I think I've tried just about every place. The serving size is large and the Pad See Ew with beef came with a lot of beef. At first I thought it was a little pricey, but I find the quality and taste to be absolutely worth it. They have some very strong bbq or wok hay flavor that is so good! I've only had their noodle dishes (Pad See Ew and Pad Thai) and both were excellent. I'm not super into Pad Thai but I found theirs to have a great sweet and salty balance of flavors. We came on a Friday evening and ordered our typical Thai favorites, which were bbq chicken, pad se eww, pad thai, and Thai basil fried rice. All the dishes were hot and fresh, with a kiss of smoke from a well seasoned wok. The service was friendly, and the cashier was able to answer all my questions. Consider myself lucky to stumble across this Thai eatery. I tried the spicy noodles and it was absolutely lit. Very generous portions, fresh ingredients and they use like jumbo shrimp. Not skimping on the shrimp either. You can taste the char from the wok, and has a great spice factor. My friend ordered something else but i noticed she had maitake mushrooms in there instead of the average boring mushrooms youd find everywhere else. Local small business owners: husband wife team. From the looks it's extremely nice, very clean, elegant looking and out of place for a food court stall so it definitely stands out. The food is good but it's not great. I ordered the papaya salad, lime and chili chicken wings (6pcs) , and a thai tea and that was about 45 dollars. Papaya salad: I picked a level 5 spicy level and I wanted Thai spicy. It did not give.. They used a combination of dry pepper flakes and Thai chili to spice up the papaya salad. It was on the sweeter side and slightly tangy. Very simple papaya salad the main components that I saw were papaya, tomatoes, and green beans. Chicken wings The dry seasoning flavor was nice. Chicken had a light crispy batter. Seems like they fried the chicken and put it in the box and just shook the seasoning overtop. It was not coated evenly and I found myself taking a little bite of the chicken where there was seasoning and another bit where there was none. Thai tea The Thai tea was the main reason for my lower score. Came in a cute bear bottle, which I could care less for i like ice. I took a big gulp not knowing I would get a chunk of something in my mouth.. I'm not sure if it was spoiled milk or maybe fat from the coconut milk separating but it was slimy, gross, and extremely off putting. If I was told there was some separation and I needed to shake it VERY well that would have changed the story but I didn't even drink it after that I wasn't taking the chance.. As for service I ordered through grubhub and it was quick I waited a couple minutes for my food (I got there early). As I was waiting I ordered the Thai tea and my cashier was checked out seemed like he was talking himself up he mumbled under his breath "it's okay" I think he got in trouble for something because a lady came out to go talk to the customer and you could clearly see she was irritated. read more

Absolutely love this place. When they first opened, we went quite a few times because we loved what they had to offer. The food is great and has yet to disappointment and the service was quick and efficient.
