It wasn't hard to find this restaurant, as once you enter the market the food court is to the immediate right, and there are only a few restaurants in general. I knew what I wanted, and I also had a request from my roommate as well. For myself, I ordered the Skirt Steak. For my roommate, I ordered her the Krapow Bowl w/ Shrimp and an added fried egg. In about 8 minutes +/-, I received my beautiful food. I hopped into my car, and hurried home. How was the food? - Skirt Steak: Absolutely delicious. There is so much flavor in this perfectly cooked (medium rare) meat. The flavor has a touch of sweetness to it and I love it. Super tender. We waited way too long for our food -- easily longer than several tables that arrived after us. On top of that, they messed up our order after we had already paid around $40. All their dishes have that much desired wok char so you know they are actually stir frying them over high heat. The pad see ew is cooked to just the right texture and is delightfully chewy. When we approached their stand, we were told that they were closing but the lady was kind enough to ask if the chef was willing to take more orders. It seemed to be the most popular spot out of the whole food court and their food smelled so good as we were walking past! The lady that helped us told us that their most popular item on their menu is the PadSeeEw. I tried it with BBQ Pork. PadSeeEw with BBQ Pork - it came out piping hot. The noodles itself without any spice is on the sweeter side. I was surprised by how delicious the BBQ Pork was! It had a nice char - the BBQ flavors were definitely coming through! You can definitely tell that they grilled the BBQ Pork. The pork itself wasn't dry at all and they didn't skimp out on the BBQ pork. Every bite was a good balance of noodles and pork. The noodles also had a nice char flavor (wok hei). I was told that their spicy sauce as it adds a bit of sourness! So I assume that their PadSeeEw will taste better with their spicy sauce. I didn't end up trying it with any spice since I can't handle spice. She asked us about the spice level and I said level 3 for my mom's order. TIP: you can ask for the spice on the side. Thai spice is really spicy so maybe asking for a level 3 wasn't that great of an idea haha. Typical food court vibe. They have a couple of tables for people to sit in groups as well as high chairs for people to sit individually. when i saw that kra-pow opened up in the oc area i was so stoked, as i was under the impression that they only had one location inside of the chino hills 99 ranch. the second we got there, their entire staff welcomed us. they were all so sweet, patient, and helpful! the restaurant was decorated with a ton of greenery, and all the neon lights were a cute touch. we ordered the tomkha with chicken, pad see ew with bbq pork, and a papaya salad with level 3 spice. we got there an hour before closing, so they ran out of their famous skirt steak which is what i was looking forward to most. regardless, everything was packed with flavor and all the food was insanely fresh and piping hot. we loved our food so much we went back 10 minutes before closing to order their crab fried rice, and as much of a pain it is to have us order so late into the night, they were so very kind about it and quickly whipped it up for us. we appreciated that greatly, as i know how it feels to be on the other end of the stick-it sucks having to make a last minute order after finishing almost all of the closing prep. the crab fried rice came with a fried soft shell crab on top and chunks of real crab on the inside, it definitely did not disappoint. the soft shell crab was fried and seasoned to perfection, as they don't use a ton of batter here- which i love. also, level three spicy wasn't that spicy in my opinion , so if you like spicy, i would definitely recommend going higher. overall, everything at kra-pow is a 10/10 and we would definitely come back again. probably one of the best, if not the best thai spots in oc !! read more

I ordered so much food and they had it ready so fast! I had the krapow bowl with grilled chicken, papaya salad, mango sticky rice, and cucumber mint aguas frescas. My favorite bowl was the krapow bowl, the chicken was tender and juicy. The seasoning/sauce that they used was spicy and flavorful, even the 3/5 level of spice was decently hot. I recommend adding a fried egg, and if you're sensitive to spice, maybe only getting a 1/5 or 2/5 spice level. The papaya salad wasn't my favorite, I enjoyed the seasoning they used but I know that this appetizer just wasn't for me. Everything in it was super fresh though. The food came out fairly quickly and the pad see ew looked amazing. It was definitely one of the best I've ever had. I came here with my son during the busy holiday season. I ordered the pad Thai and tom is kai. Both amazing. After spending the afternoon holiday shopping suddenly my card was flagged and not going through. Leaving my phone in the car I couldn't use my "go to" Apple Pay. On top of the extremely amazing food the sweet, genuine kindness of this woman will definitely make me come back. It's not every day that you find genuine people.
