Let's start with the good--there is ample seating & the place appears popular with many people eating the delicious looking sandwiches and drinks. I ordered the iced banana bread latte with oat milk; the banana cold foam is honestly amazing. I would have loved to try it with their black iced coffee but they were out unfortunately. I'm very disappointed with the staff. We came here and ordered a matcha and coconut caramel latte and everything seemed to be normal until we noticed people that were behind us and barely coming in receiving their drinks before ours. We went up front and asked how much longer it would be because we noticed other people who were way behind us getting theirs. We said it in the kindest way possible because I too work in the customer service industry and know that things can get mixed up sometimes. But the way we were talked to by the girl up front was unacceptable. She gave us a dirty look and told us that "we're working on it " and walked away from us. We moved out of the way and we could hear them talking bad about us saying "I don't know why people complain they're so impatient, this is why they're getting their drink later". This is extremely unprofessional and I'm disappointed with the staff and the owner for hiring people like this. I've been going to Kramer's for years. I first found it when I was pregnant, and my son is now six, so I've been a customer for quite a while. This past week I went to Kramer's twice. They have "energy" drinks listed on their board, and when I asked the cashier what flavors they had, she responded with, "The ones you see." I was surprised because she's been nice to other people before, so I wasn't sure why she was rude to me. When I got my drink, the "Ocean Water," it tasted gross and I didn't enjoy it. I went to Kraemer's and ordered the Teddy Graham Latte iced. When I got my drink I honestly thought they gave me the wrong one. I mentioned it to the barista and she said it was the right drink but that she accidentally put the wrong topping on it. She fixed it which I appreciated but then her coworker Paloma, made a rude and unprofessional comment to her saying "Oh, please, like it matters." My mom was waiting by the door and overheard the whole thing. Paloma even made direct eye contact with her and then went to hide in the bathroom afterward. Sorry, but yes it does matter especially when I'm paying nearly $8 for a drink. The customer service here is unacceptable and management really needs to train their staff on professionalism and basic customer service etiquette. I'll never be back. Update: After posting my review I reached out via Instagram since no one answered the phone when I called. The person managing the account responded but instead of directly addressing my concern they focused on defending the employee and explaining that she "wasn't feeling well" that day. Unfortunately, this doesn't resolve the issue of making a rude comment about a customer within earshot. I've attached screenshots of our conversation so potential customers can see exactly how the situation was handled. I have been coming to Kraemer's for years. I always get the chicken salad and it's never a disappointment. However, the service has gone done hill quite badly every time I have been back. I understand that they get busy but don't take it out on the customers. The customers can feel the energy of annoyance that the girls behind the counter give. It's not warm or welcoming. The owners have always been great but the employees need a bit of talking too if I'm being honest. That's why I'm giving a 2 rating is due to lack of service and betterment of customer service not being a priority it seems. Update: went back for the chicken salad because they ran out the day before. I asked for the bread to be toasted. They only toasted one slice of the bread. After seeing a few videos online hyping up their banana matcha. I had been searching all over the IE for one, so I was super excited to finally try it. Unfortunately, the experience didn't fully live up to the hype. They initially gave me a banana latte instead of the banana matcha I ordered, even though I paid extra for cold foam. I let the girls know, they did fix my drink and gave me the matcha I originally ordered unfortunately my extra foam was not in the cup ): That said, the matcha itself was still disappointing. It tasted really watered down, the foam was thin (I could literally see the ice through it), and the matcha reminded me of that low-quality Caffe D'Vita powder--not creamy or smooth like I was hoping for. The cold foam just didn't hit, and overall the drink lacked the richness I was looking for. While the drink was good and the bagel was okay, the customer service left a lot to be desired. After waiting 20 minutes for my bagel, I asked a server if they could check on my order. Instead of looking into it, I was told, "We'll call your name when it's ready," and was completely dismissed. Staff are always very helpful and I do enjoy their camaraderie, seems like a great team! My coffees are always delicious and perfectly sweet.
