First time. Placed an online order... Vermicelli noodle with half rice base. Proteins are chicken and shrimp. The proteins were lacking in taste/flavor. Slightly bland. The price is a bit high based on the portion. Could have more chicken and shrimp. We also asked for the fish sauce on the side. It was neither in the food nor on the side. Too bad. We also ordered three drinks. We ordered: - Brown sugar milk tea with 50% sugar, but it tasted super sweet as if it was 150%. - Seven wonders fruit tea. This was okay. - Vietnamese coffee was disappointing considering this is a Vietnamese establishment. I asked for light ice only to get 3 sips then I opened the cover and saw over 70% of the cup was shaved ice. This obviously diluted the coffee as I paid for bland shaved ice. As for the place itself, it is quite small in old town Camarillo. The pics on the Internet appear bigger than it actually is. It was dark inside, they had the lights off. My daughter and I stopped here and had a lovely meal. Light and fresh, yet fulfilling. Great flavors in our dishes. Nice service too. There was a mistake on our order and they quickly fixed it without issue. We ate outside and liked how many plants there were around the sitting area to give it a more garden-like setting. The only picture I took was from our table looking across the promenade towards the restaurant. It was a small place, but certainly made the most out of its space. I'm a big fan of Kraft. Last time I was here I tried their baos. I ordered two pork and one chicken with all the toppings. Ingredients are really fresh and include cilantro, jalapeño, mixed greens, garlic chips, sesame seeds and an "egg roll." They have plenty of dipping sauces to choose from as well like peanut, garlic, hoisin and traditional which is fish sauce. I also ordered an oolong cream tea with boba (75 percent sweetness) which was delicious. The tea tasted excellent, was fresh brewed and the boba was slightly sweet. Kraft vermicelli was SO worth the 20 min drive! I arrived on Saturday at 11am right when they opened and there was already a small line. The interior is really cute and bright and most of the seating is on an outdoor patio. I ordered three spring rolls with grilled shrimp, grilled pork, and marinated tofu and added mixed greens, cucumber, and pickled veggies with the traditional dipping sauce. The spring rolls were really good (way better than anything I could've rolled at home!) and had the perfect amount of vermicelli noodles. They also add CRUNCHY egg roll paper in the rolls which takes them next level!! I would swap the tofu for grilled beef on my next visit. I also got the iced osmanthus oolong tea (FRESH brewed and you can definitely taste the difference) sweetened 50% with a splash of oat milk. Perfection. Cashier seemed out of it. I asked the difference between the regular and jumbo fruit sandos, and she simply said, "bigger". Just ordered a fruit sando and two drinks (Thai tea and their mango special). The order took over 20 minutes. Popped into Kraft Vermicelli within the first couple of weeks of their opening, and I'm SO happy something like this exists in Camarillo! Having grown up in LA (specifically SGV), I'm a little particular about my Asian food, especially my boba tea drinks. Kraft Vermicelli is definitely where I'll be when I'm craving some Vietnamese cuisine and it's the closest to my preferences in tea quality in Ventura County. Order at the counter and think of Chipotle-style when ordering, where you begin with choosing a base, then your meats, and finally your toppings and sauces. Jeremy was at the cashier taking my order, and he was so patient walking every customer through ordering and taking the time to explain some of the Vietnamese cuisine to those who were unfamiliar. FOOD: I ended up getting one bowl with noodles as my base, pork and beef, and ALL the toppings, with their traditional fish sauce and garlic sauce. My second was the bao buns, with beef and chicken, ALL the toppings, with their hoisin sauce. Both dishes were delicious! I loved the vermicelli noodles, the flavoring of the marinated pork was perfect, and the bao buns were so pillowy and soft. DRINK: I also ordered the roasted oolong cream tea (YES HAVEN'T SEEN THIS TEA + STYLE AROUND HERE!), and it was just how I liked it, tasted like actual tea and was not over-sweetened. Their boba balls were also warm and chewy! I'm also excited to try their Jasmine cold brew green tea with salted cheese foam, another unique tea that I haven't seen around this area before. Their drinks all come in paper cups with paper straws - we love a sustainable shop! DESSERT: I got their fruit sando, and this was so popular there was only strawberry left and it was delicious. These are also great for an afternoon snack, but make sure to head on in early if you want any of these as they go fast! It is a SMALL spot in Old Town Camarillo, with a few two-person tables inside and plenty of outdoor seats. Be mindful that this awesome spot is still new and so are the staff so expect a little bit of a wait and learning curve. The owner, service, and staff are all so lovely, so please be kind! Service is what service should be for a small locally owned shop. Not a fast food joint! So annoyed that people are in a rush and expect food to be ready in 5. Please please ... I implore you... go to McDonald's. You don't deserve good food. Don't bring your bad moody vibes to a small place like this. Reminder, they just opened too! They have staff that are still in training! I got a bowl with noodles, pork and beef. I preferred the pork flavor over the beef. Topped with sprouts and peanuts. The bowl also comes with some greens. Shoutout to my friend Jara for her wonderful recommendation and social media coverage of Kraft Vermicelli which is a new cafe located in downtown Camarillo. This is definitely my new spot because the vibes were cozy, staff were friendly, and the food/drinks were phenomenal! This cafe is exactly what Camarillo needed. I love that they're located in downtown off the main drag just don't drive too fast as you'll miss it. It's an unassuming little location and blends in with the other businesses. Thankfully my Yelp directions page got me right there and I parked in front which was convenient. I was mindful that I came during their soft opening / launch week and understand that they are still finding their way and training staff. I came in for an early lunch around 11:20am and in the time I was there, there were only three groups of us ordering/waiting. However, since they are training new staff you can expect a little wait as maybe it was about 15 minutes for me to get my drink and snacks. Not bad but if it was really busy I know it could take a while so just give them some grace and appreciate all of the love, care, and training that goes into a new business. Honestly just sitting there and observing I learned a lot and was impressed. The staff here are lovely and helpful. They seem passionate about their business and eager to help. This shop is also super "custom" as your bowls/spring rolls/bites are all made to order as are the drinks. When you get so much variety to make your meals or drinks it takes some focus and attention to detail. The gals behind the counter when I came were great. My order was made accurately and I also appreciate that they made little suggestions to be helpful. 5 stars for service and the artistry of what they are doing here. Also good news, if you're vegan/vegetarian they take their stuff seriously here! They make sure utensils don't touch the meat items and were super mindful of their cleanliness and ensuring no cross contamination. Very cool to overhear and learn. The inside of this shop is super cute and fresh. Not a lot of tables inside but it's cozy. It's a nice touch that they have a sweet little wooden swing inside which is great for selfies lol. Outside tables are an option which was perfect on a beautiful sunny day. Very clean and comfortable. My food and drinks were 5 star worthy for sure. To drink I had one of the best drinks I've had in a long time OMG! I got a white peach oolong iced tea with cream and 100% sweet they called it. I added cheese foam on top and whoa! A total flavor explosion in my mouth, while also being super refreshing and lite. I think I need to order two drinks next time because one wasn't enough it was so good haha. I opted for the build your own spring rolls which I personally think was a fabulous choice lol. I appreciate that they let you mix and match proteins, you don't have to order three of the same. That's pretty generous. I opted for shrimp in one and grilled chicken in the others. Both proteins were good and different. I can't choose a favorite, I'd get them both again. For the filling the girl said I had to get spring mix and a crispy wonton per her recommendation. Im so glad I listened to her because the roll really needed both components. My additions were cucumber, bean sprouts, and greens. On the side I got peanut sauce and garlic sauce. Both were good but need to try the hoisin sauce next time. Kraft is one of the best new spots to open in 2024 and we've got to get the word out! I feel so lucky they chose Camarillo out of all places because the 805 is in need of some upgraded eats and new style of restaurants. Hard to find if you drive by quickly. plenty of parking in front and a public parking area across the street. I ordered a mandarin sando and a vietnamese cold brew with vanilla cold foam. the sando was a bit overpriced for what it was. it was like a regular white bread sandwich with mandarin chunks and some white spread. it wasn't sweet which was good and decent size. I will be honest I expected the coffee to be much much better but truly taste like a vanilla latte from mcdz. I'm defenitely going to come back try something different because their food looked very appetizing... they had several drink options, bowl options and vegan options as well. prices range anywhere from $6-20 The girls were sweet, wish there was a bit more like recommendations for first timers or guidance. I used to love coming here :/ but I'm afraid this will be the last time. I was here about a week ago and described a drink that was posted in a review to the girl at the register. She was so excited to try to mimic it because it was not directly off the menu, but she did her best to create it the way that I described it. And it was great! Better than I expected! I came back again and requested the drink the same way. The lady at the register was very nice, but the person who appeared to be the manager said they are not going to make anything that is not exactly off the menu. I was describing the add-ons that I wanted and she said no because they are not going to make a new drink and referred me back to the ones on the menu. I got a matcha with cold foam, and when I told her that it tasted off, she remade it after telling me how expensive it is. The second one still tasted like there was something wrong with it. It seemed maybe the foam was old because it was very chunky or maybe it was the milk because something was definitely sour. After the attitude I was getting I said it came out fine even though it was not good. I hate to leave a negative review, but for a $9 drink to come out wrong twice and have it served with such attitude, I would rather spend my time and money elsewhere. read more

I have been here once before for a yelp event. I have to say the drinks were just okay. I don't recall what I got then. we were in the area again, I was with a few friends and wanted Boba so we decided to come here since I like supporting small business. Service was definitely not the best. The cashier was very rude. We got drinks and they were not good at all. It was Thai tea and jasmine tea, We asked for something else as the Thai teas was not great! she was going to charge us for a whole new drink which was already over priced!. This has never happened before, she remade the drink because she refused to make another drink and it was just as disgusting so my husband left it inside and we left. I don't recall her name however I notified the owner, I was sent a message back within one day apologizing for that and to return again. I didn't however I waited a couple months and I went. I had better drinks this time I had the fresh teas which I would recommend. I went on a Friday during lunch time! They were busy but didn't expect to wait for 30 minutes to get two drinks. I haven't tried your food so I would have to try it to see how it is. However, if that cashier is ever there, I would ask to be helped by somebody else if she still works there. Almost a 4. I ordered a few things to try. I picked the vermicelli bowl, the spring rolls, strawberry and kiwi Sando, and a jasmine almond milk tea with boba. It's a bit pricey. But the food tasted fresh and new. You get peanut sauce(thick), teriyaki sauce(thick), and garlic sauce(watery) in your to go bag. Labeled and packed well. I suggest using the peanut sauce and the teriyaki sauce. Really enhances the flavor. The tea was a bit bland and the sando looks good but is basically whipped cream and some fruit. Very small menu. Good options though. The customer service was pleasant. And the food is good as leftovers. Plants all around, mostly outside but some inside. A nifty little nook. Unless you're looking for it, you might miss Kraft Vermicelli's small storefront and simply drive by, and that would be a tootin' shame. They offer drinks, and a modest selection of food and fruit sandwiches. Some seasonal drinks too, so all the more reason to keep coming back. The staff was super friendly and came through with a killer recommendation when I was struck by choice paralysis while ordering a drink. I am now a certified Jasmine Tea enjoyer. Service is impressively quick, and there was a constant stream of customers coming in for take-out and dine-in. The food was delicious; while the menu might make it seem like there's not much choice, the devil's in the toppings (and sauces), so don't be shy: get creative and craft your dream bowl! Order is at the counter or at a console near the entrance. Like I mentioned earlier, the place itself is very small, only seating about 12 people inside, but there's a few more tables outside with more elbow room, if you're prone to feeling stuffy. I prefer sitting inside, but wherever you sit you'll get to enjoy a cute and cozy atmosphere that pairs perfectly with the comforting feeling of a fruit sandwich in your hand. Tried the vermicelli bowl, spring rolls, pork bao, house cream tea, and roasted oolong tea. I had the beef, pork, chicken and shrimp. All of them have good flavor. I like how the shrimp has some seasoning, not just boiled shrimp like in the traditional Vietnamese spring rolls. The tea... I love and appreciate that they freshly brewed the tea! Some boba tea places use powder, which I despise. The boba is perfectly chewy. The 2x I went they didn't have the grass jelly, which is my favorite. I guess I'll have to keep coming back. read more

Kraft Vermicelli is a tiny cafe/restaurant in Old Town Camarillo near BLVD Burger and Wok 'N' South Mongolian BBQ. They serve excellent Vietnamese food and drinks that they prepare right in front of you. For their bowl special you choose the base (rice, vermicelli, rice paper, spring mix, or bao buns), proteins (meat, vegetarian, and vegan options), toppings (too many to mention!), and the sauces. They also offer many delicious teas, lemonade, coffee varieties, and desserts. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped me choose from all the different varieties. As previously mentioned, the place is tiny with just few places to sit inside. However, they do have outdoor seating. Please note they don't accept cash right now. I had heard about this new Vietnamese cafe & boba shop in Camarillo & remembered when I saw the menu that I was impressed by the number of vegan options they had & the choice of plant milks available for their boba tea drinks. When I got the invite to try this place out I was so excited. I went in the afternoon & it wasn't crowded. It was the perfect time to come. There were tables & chairs with the cutest umbrellas in the outdoor patio out front. There were 3 sets of the cutest cafe tables & chairs inside. There was also an adorable swing hung up from the ceiling. And I did ask if it was functional & indeed it is, & it's even reinforced with a weight-bearing beam in the ceiling. They were smart enough to put a disclaimer on it so, use at your own risk. 200lbs advised, but it can indeed hold 800lbs, but again, use at your own risk. I imagine it's great for taking poses photos! As a Yelp elite, I recieved a Jasmine Iced Latte w/75% sweetness & a fruit & cream sando. I also ordered a vermicelli bowl with tofu. It takes longer for the tofu because they make it fresh, so I had to wait 10-15 minutes, so keep that in mind. I got all the vegan toppings available for my bowl & asked for a sauce that did not include fish sauce, as it is often made with shell fish that I am allergic to. Sandy made sure to have the sauce on the side & it was a garlic sauce, that deceptively looked very similar to the fish sauce, so I called her from home, just in case & she assured me it was garlic sauce & she was right. The Tofu Vermicelli bowl was delicious! I devoured it! My only complaint was I wish it had more of the vermicelli. Next time, I'll order more in the side. Loved this spot! We got the vermicelli noodle bowls which came with 2 choices of protein and UNLIMITED toppings! The staff was friendly and helpful, answering questions about the menu and giving their recommendations. Meat (we got grilled pork and chicken) was flavorful, plenty of topping options, and drink menu is extensive and delicious! The bowl is prepped right there in front of you and tasted so good and fresh. Some tables inside but most seating is outside, well decorated inside. Soooooo good, so expensive tho. But yk what it's a little treat every now and then but like I do need to find a good alt bc it's just so pricy. I mean I got a plate and tea and it was like 30$ like girlllllll it's good but I can't justify that. Like service is usually good but wait times a little long but it's ok tbh it tastes super fresh and good. The actual place is small but eating outside or just taking it to go is nice. Tables are uncomfy tho and a lot of the times not clean so lowkey I'm just an eat it in ur car type person. read more
