5 stars and more!! This place looks very ordinary and unassuming but don't be fooled! There are treasures in the form of food inside. Their spicy chicken is something I could eat literally everyday and never get bored. The sauce for their salad (which for us was cabbage and corn) was so delicious I was just looking for this I could dip in it (I chose the green bean banchan to go in it!) and their galbi.. oh their galbi!! super tender and flavorful, my husband and I literally could not stop eating. I wasn't even that hungry go in and we ate all our food! We also ordered japchae, I love glass noodles and I felt it could be a bit more saucy but it was super delicious either way. I'm glad I don't live too close or I would be here on a daily basis. No wonder they have 5 stars read more

I really loved the food and value at Krave! It's fun to support a new-ish restaurant in Atlanta that has already won so many people over. We ordered combos of Steak Bulgogi--YUM! Whew chyle! I love spice. And I love Korean food. This spicy chicken bowl was a flavor party in my mouth! The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. There was even something wrong with the register when I walked in but the gentleman took the time to explain and said he would be right with me. Also I love the fact that they had Hispanic brother at the register. I feel like my Hispanic brothers and sisters are always just in the kitchen cheffin it up but was glad to see him out front. I wish they were in my area but I'll definitely be back when I'm over that way! read more

Everything was cooked to perfection. Flavors were on point with that little bit of magic that you can't put your finger on but it elevates the dish. I let feeling full and satisfied. No stomach ache. The only reason why I'm not giving this place five stars is because I got takeout and the food was not properly placed in the bag and oil from the Spicy Chicken Bulgogi poured everywhere. Who puts the big items on top of the small items? I didn't take pictures because everything looked a mess, the tops of the containers were half melted, and like I said...the oil, but the food was exceptionally delicious! Like, everything was SO good! I forgot I was mad at them by the time I finished eating, and that is saying a lot! So we ordered the Jap-Chae (glass noodles stir-fried with pork and mixed vegetables) phenomenal, chef's kiss, Ramyun (Korean spicy ramen noodles with egg) yummmm, and the spicy chicken bulgogi, two chef's kisses. Omg! Even my husband was pleasantly surprised. He liked everything as well. So, this will be our new Korean spot. For sure. read more

I want to like Krave more but the price to value equation just isn't there for me. I can vouch that the food is good (though on the oily side for me) and prices end up being over $30 for two people at a fast casual feels steep. The location is also kinda difficult to park at. read more

After being made to feel so unwelcome and another establishment down the road we popped into Krave, from the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome and the gentleman who seated us was excellent. He even helped my 6 year who is currently in a wheelchair to his seat made sure his wheelchair was put out the way and made sure he was happy. All other staff always interacted with my 6month in the pushchair. Food was great and priced well, kids menu was small but big enough to avoid any arguments burger was delightful. Coffee was made well. The only comment would be a flat white should be served slightly smaller rather in either regular or large. Overall excellent experience. read more

Ordered for the first time today, browsing Yelp for something new to eat for lunch. Place seemed pretty cool. Easy online ordering via Toast made it even cooler. I ordered the Steak Bulgogi Bowl. I meant to take a photo before I dug in, but I was starving and the first few bites kept me going (clearly my taste buds liked it). I thought there was supposed to be some sort of sauce either on it or on the side, but I didn't see any? It's was very tasty, but something was missing. I can't quite put my finger on it. I'd be down to try them again and get a different option as well. read more

I'm super excited that this place came to the neighborhood, I love Korean food and it's nice not to have to drive all the way to Buford highway to get some now. The staff was really nice, everyone was friendly and helpful and had great suggestions. You don't see that too often these days. I ordered the spicy chicken plate and man did it come with a lot of food! The chicken was tender, flavorful, I really enjoyed it. It definitely could have been enough for two meals but it was so delicious I couldn't stop eating lol. The kimchi was so good too. I can't wait to come back and try more things! read more

It's awesome to have a new quick lunch in the area that's not boring. If you've never had Korean this place is a good intro but don't expect anything like on BuHi. I've only ordered for pickup during lunch but they do have a small eat in area. My food has always been hot and ready at the stated pickup time and the staff are friendly. I've had the bulgogi platter and the spicy pork. They come with a cabbage/corn salad, rice, and the daily rotation of 2 banchan (sides). I don't care for the salad at all. The banchan have been good, so far I've had the potatoes (like a sweet sesame), spicy cucumber ( my favorite), and I think a fried green tomato (not southern style). I'm not sure if they ever have kimchi as one of the sides but I'd love it if they did. I've liked both entrees with a preference for the bulgogi. While I liked the spicy pork, I wish it was slightly less saucy because the sauce overly coats the rice. It is spicy so the rice can't be used as a reprieve from the spice of its coated like that. I'm looking forward to trying something else from here, probably the galbi. read more

Hidden Gem alert! This place does not seem like much but it is absolutely delicious. Probably the best Korean food (not KBBQ) that I have found in the Atlanta area. Portions are decent. Flavors are exquisite. No bad things to say about this place. I think the bulgogi was tender, the Mandu crispy in all the right ways, and the japchae phenomenal, even as leftovers. Well done. I hope this place continues to do what it does, because it is done well. read more

My wife and I were in town for both business & pleasure when we found this new Krave restaurant that just opened up yesterday so we decided to give it a try. I had the bulgogi plate which is basically their Korean marinated thinly sliced ribeye with rice and banchan (banchan = side dishes) and my wife had the spicy chicken with rice and banchan. My wife and I are both Koreans so this is what naturally attracted us to try this new place and I have to say it was beyond delicious! They started making the food right then and there so it was super fresh and the portions were really great! I'm 5'11, 185lbs and I eat like Homer Simpson and I could barely finish my plate. For the price of $13.50 for my plate and $12.50 for my wife's plate, it's as good of a deal you will find in town. As you can see from my other posts, I post a lot of food pictures and reviews but when we got our food, we both usually take a bite then stop to take pictures but it was SO good, we forgot to take pictures! LOL. We're going to be in town for about another week and I'm sure we'll be back again but next time, with pictures! To the nice friendly gentleman named Noah, I hope your boss gives you a raise because you were so nice, friendly, and helpful! It's so hard to find a good employee these days! read more

This is one of my new favorite places in Atlanta! I never would have noticed this place if I hadn't seen it on Yelp and I'm so glad we did. If we're craving quick and delicious Korean food this is the place to go. The staff is always super nice and serving sizes are great for the price. Their pork mandu is my absolute favorite because it's perfectly crispy and comes with an amazing dipping sauce. For entree I usually go with the spicy chicken platter and can almost always get two full meals out of it because of the amount of meat they give you. Parking is a little limited but they are in a small building to start with so I would recommend this more for duos and small groups if you're looking to sit and eat, but it's perfect taken to-go as well! read more

Stopped by for takeout today and had an odd experience. What I ordered were the jap chae (glass noodles with pork) then an order of fries a steak bulgogi philly and a ginger beer. I opted out of tossing my fries in sauce because it was an additional $2.00. But that wasn't the odd part. I arrived home and started eating when I noticed that the glass noodles were stuck to the bowl. Each take out container is made of recycled material. The hot noodles peeled that paper off and fused with it. I had to throw most of them away. The part I did eat was tasty. The favorite of the night was the philly. So I may be back. read more

WOW!!!! The food was phenomenal. I was craving Korean food so hopped on Yelp for suggestions and I'm so glad I did. The food was flavorful and reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the bulgogi cheesesteak. I'm usually skeptical of fusion sandwiches but omg, soooo good. The platters are a really great deal too, they give you sooo much food. Really tasty hole in the wall Korean spot! Everything we ordered was super flavorful and there was a lot of variety. Only issue we had was that there's a bit too much oil used in the dishes so the excess grease was a bit much. That said, it was really tasty and the staff was very nice as well. This is one of the few 5 star reviews I've given on yelp, if any! Of all the cuisines, Asian is my favorite, but of Asian cuisine Korean is my least favorite. In desperate need of quality food with veggies, I stumbled upon Krave's review and pictures. I couldn't decide what to order so I got a lil bit of er'rythang. I'll start with the negative(s): Environmentalist don't come for me, but those damn compost friendly containers are the WORST!! How am I supposed to get all the grains of starchy white rice out of it without tearing through the bottom??!! Upon arriving home with my morsels, I transferred everything into containers (I do recycle). It was almost meal prep like! My favorites were the mandu! Sooo hot and fresh tasting. If these are frozen, I need the brand and store location because these were chef's kiss!! Japchae- for whatever reason, the online ordering system says "Recommended for DINE IN ONLY"...good thing i don't listen to recommendations!! I love me some jap-chae and am used to it being served cold or luke warm. These were served hot and it was very good. Not sure why they recommend dine in for this one....it actually travelled the best!. The galbi beef was VERY tasty and they trimmed all the fat off. I tasted the spicy shrimp entree and would have enjoyed chicken or pork. The shrimp just didn't do it for me. I did enjoy the rice and obscene amount of sauce! Each entree is served with the daily banchan. Today it was cucumbers and green beans. Perhaps it's the korean bbq girl in me, but I was expecting more dishes when I think of banchan. I ended up mixing it all in with the meats and rice. That little (and I do mean little) salad of cabbage and corn adds some brightness. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food. Apps were about $7-9, entree's $11-15. There is a shared parking lot that I imagine can get quite full during busy hours. I believe there us some seating, but no real atmosphere. Probably good for a quick lunch with a small group or solo. I def recommend and will return! read more

This place was such a let down. Drove over an hour to get here. Got spicy chicken bulgogi and spicy chicken platter and both were clawingly sweet. Service was non existent but that's become common place everywhere. No one wants to serve with a smile but here go ahead and tip 15/20%. Also blood sugar shot up to 300 based on my cgms. read more

I've been craving some authentic korean cuisine and Krave hit the spot! I was visiting my brother for the weekend and he told me this was the place for some great Korean food. He was not lying! The bulgogi plate is awesome and my personal recommendation but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu (we went a bit overboard!). Big ups to the portion sizes and the banchans reminded me of my mom's cooking back home! I will be visiting again next time I'm in the area! read more

In an unassuming parking lot next to a dry cleaner...all of the best Korean staples beef, pork and chicken along w side dishes arhat are so scrumptious. The Mandu is so crispy. We got carry out from Krave earlier today and had a great experience. The staff was really friendly and updated me as they made the order. The restaurant was really clean and had a good atmosphere. As for the food, their bulgogi philly is potentially the best sandwich I have ever tasted. It's seriously incredible. The bulgogi platter was good too. Mushi Ni has an electronic ordering system which was really easy to navigate. I chose my lunch special and added in my dumplings, and poof - the order was on the way to the kitchen. I walked around the food hall for a few so I don't really know how quickly my order was completed, but when I returned, the guy behind the counter saw me and started bagging it up. I found a seat outside for some natural lighting and started snapping away. I really went to enjoy and share the bao buns but figured I'd have a quick bite of the dumplings and keep it pushing. Listen. WOW. I was immediately taken aback because, what?! They were spicy, so savory and full of pork, with a little punch of lime in there somewhere. I didn't even need to have a second bite before I decided that I *had* to order a second round. Wow. The fries were also phenomenal! Super crunchy, the seasonings on top were such a nice touch. Needless to say, we are both familiar with and supportive of the restaurant. Unfortunately, today's experience missed the mark. As soon as we walked in, the energy just did not feel welcoming. We were really excited to come in for happy hour and sat at the bar from 5-7 PM. The restaurant was extremely slow when we arrived--in fact, we were the only guests there--yet it still took quite a while for the bartender to come over so we could even place our order. My friend was especially looking forward to the mussels, so she ordered those, while I ordered a sushi roll and we each ordered a drink. Unfortunately, she never received her mussels. The bartender, Tony, was not attentive throughout our visit, and we eventually had to get someone else's attention just to ask for our check. When we asked for the check, I made sure to mention that my friend had never received her mussels. The manager, Nick, came over, looked at the tab, and apologized. We explained the situation to him as well, but Tony was still nowhere to be found and never came over to acknowledge what happened or apologize. Nick did offer us a 15% discount card for a future visit, which we appreciated, but honestly, that wasn't really the point. It was about the principle and the overall experience. My friend and I have both worked in the restaurant industry for years, so we completely understand that mistakes happen. We're not expecting perfection. What matters is how those situations are handled, and unfortunately, we left feeling somewhat dismissed rather than valued. Despite everything, we still left a 20% tip because we understand the industry and don't believe one bad experience should define someone's livelihood. I'm sharing this because we genuinely love Osha Thai. My friend has supported this restaurant multiple times, has returned several times, and has posted multiple positive reviews about her experiences. That's why today was especially disappointing. For Happy Hour I think their prices are excessive - with $14 for drinks and $8+ for tiny apps. I found service to be good. It took a long time for the hand roll to come out (over 25 minutes). When my friend arrived we both ordered the lobster fried rice dish. I could smell the rice was burned and it was when I tasted it. The server quickly replaced it and the new dish was fine and came out relatively quickly (much quicker than a raw hand roll). They also have valet which is $5 and I think you can park for the same cost as well. I found the restaurant to be very cute, food was good, but I wouldn't go out my way to return.

The modern white-brick architecture accentuates the mission statement printed in red-- "Krazy about bringing a real taste of Korea, Noah and Julius got together to cook a variety of Korean dishes for everyone who Kraves!" As you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by workers and the vibrant sounds of Korean Pop music playing in the background-- almost like you're entering a tiny part of Korea. Kim also changes his banchan ("side dishes") daily, rotating between an assortment of Kimchi (a Korean favorite), Bean Sprouts, Green Beans, Korean Pickled Cucumber, Korean Moo-Chae, Oh-Dang, Fresh Baby Spinach, Broccoli Salad, Sautéed Kimchi, and Potato Potato. A variety of banchan is very common in Korea and was strategic of Kim to translate into his restaurant to attract Koreans. The Galbi, marinated short ribs were incredibly tender and juicy with the perfect balance of savory, sweet, and slight smoky flavors. Stopped by on a weekend to pick up some takeout. Call in was easy and order was ready and correct. Grabbed the krave platter with tofu, spicy. The restaurant has a relaxed, family-friendly vibe with an anime theme throughout the space, which makes it a fun spot for anime fans or families with kids. The menu also offers more than just wings, including hibachi, rice bowls, Philly cheesesteaks, burgers, and salads. It's located in a shopping center, so parking was easy and plentiful. Service was straightforward. I placed my order using the self-service kiosk near the entrance and grabbed a seat at the bar while I waited. One of the employees came over to check if I wanted anything from the bar while I was waiting, which I appreciated. My food came out fairly quickly and was served hot. Overall, with all the wings placed in town, this just wasn't a meal I'd come back for. I finished most of my food, but I didn't really enjoy it. Based on my experience, I don't see myself returning, but if you're visiting for the first time, I'd definitely recommend trying the honey lemon pepper flavor.
