I was skeptical about another new pizza restaurant opening in the area, but we decided to give them a try. Am I so glad that I did! What an amazing pizza! The spices and flavors were unlike any other pizza I have tasted before and it was sublime to enjoy! I have tried so many pizza joints over the years and most just make me gag, but this place has rated at the top of my list! It may be a bit of a drive for me, but it is so worth it! The crust is perfect, the dough is flavorful, you want to eat every ounce of your slice. The dogs are upset because they now have no "pizza bones" (crust) to enjoy. The sauces have a nice variety of seasonings and the toppings are amazing. Such a creative and flavorful pizza, that it literally makes you drool for more! Now for the service... WONDERFUL! They are very attentive, caring and on top of everything. They don't pester you, like some places have a tendency to do, but make you feel that you have experienced a very welcoming, positive and upbeat experience. Finally after the ovens were fixed, our softball team was able to dine! The 2 day wait for the ovens to be fixed was worth it! We had about 20-25 Adults and Preteens in our group and we had no problem walking in and finding a place for us all to sit. Our group tried almost 1 of every thing on the menu. Pizza were delicious and flavorful, nachos were interesting but delicious, cheese bread was outstanding, calzone was delicious and HUGE, kabob plates and sandwiches were on spot. Let me start off by saying how excellent the service was!!!! Greeted as soon as we entered, Anthony did a great job starting small talk, and the other gentlemen immediately got plates, and a pitcher of water as soon as he heard me order 4 waters. They checked up on us throughout our visit, and made sure the food was to our standard. The best service I've received in a pizza shop!! Ordered the kebab nacho plate (nice twist!), chicken kebab pizza and the falafel plate. The kebab pizza was a little too doughy for my taste, and the pepperoni pizza was not bad for my kids. They ate the pizza- and I had the falafel plate. Falafel plate was great, I'll probably get dressing on the side next time- but it was very tasty. Been here several times. This pizza does NOT taste like the popular fast food pizza chains. Way better quality. Kinda reminds me of Sbarro pizza back in the 90s. Plus they usually give you pepperoncinis on the side. Be warned, it's not pizza that keeps well for leftovers. Best to have it fresh. Also, if you don't like overly sweet pizza, stay away from the BBQ chicken and the Swedish. The kebabs and gyros pizzas are really good though. read more

Easily the best pizza in town. If you're from the bay area, and miss your Amici's or Toto's -- head on to Kraving Kebab. Wonderful thin-crust east-coast style pizza in an artful yet casual setting. For the price same price a so-so chain, we got an exquisitely thin yet flexible crust generously loaded with toppings. The sauce is unpretentious, just your down home east coast pizza sauce. These folks obviously take pride in what they do, which they should because they do it darn well! I love the swedish pizza aka banana pizza. Unfortunately they moved locations from Modesto to Turlock. The Turlock location is bigger and nicer but who really wants to go to Turlock? I finally made my way there a couple weeks ago and ordered the banana pizza. Which was amazing. I just wish they would open another location in Modesto or Riverbank area as I don't live in that area any more. The swedish pizza is unique I have not ran across that combination not even in the bay area. read more
