Where do we start with craving kebabs pizza? My family and I have been here for the past three years and we absolutely adore this place whenever we walk through the door. We are always asked if we want the same orders and the answer is usually yes, I love that the owners know our dishes by heart and always take great care of us, we've held our wrestling party parties. Here, we've had birthday celebrations, and just enjoy being surrounded by great people the ambience is inviting there is sports for our sports fanatics, but most often you'll notice it's very quiet and calm and just a fun atmosphere. Our favorite dish to order is the loaded fries, Shawarma style, the chicken, Shawarma plate, the linguiça pizza, and their mango habanero wings. If you have never had linguiça pizza, you should definitely try it Hilmar and Turlock has a huge Portuguese community and what's a pizza without linguiça say that 10 times! Lastly, I would like to say that I left my wallet here, one time and the owner tracked me down on Facebook to let me know I left my belongings at the restaurant. This place is unique in a good way. If you like pizza and kebabs then this is the place for you! The crust has the perfect amount of chewiness and crunch to it. We got the Kebab Supreme, The toppings are bountiful and fresh. We were initially skeptical of the white sauce so we got it on the side. However, after trying it, I couldn't stop dipping the pizza in it. The white sauce isn't your typical gyro sauce or tahini, but closer to a sweet ranch - very flavorful. Omgosh!... I always forget about this place and miss when it was in Modesto!! We used to get their Supreme Kebab pizza delivered probably once every couple of months! Well, today my friend and I were shopping in Turlock and I remembered that they moved here, so we decided to stop by. We got a half gyro/ half supreme kebab pizza, Cesar salad, and garlic fries all to share. Everything was, of course, DELICIOUS with the star of the show being the pizza! My friend had an "OMG" moment when she tried it and mentioned several times that she knows she's going to crave (no pun intended) the pizza in the future. Saw the photos and reviews and decided to check it out. Ended up ordering the tri-tip wrap. Unfortunately it was a disappointment. Had the most unseasoned tri-tip wrap ever! The meat had absolutely no seasoning whatsoever. I'm not sure if that's just how they make it or if it was a mistake I ended up adding salt to it, but definitely Needed other seasonings, so I was not able to finish it. This place was way better than I expected it to be. It's definitely unassuming in a little strip mall parking lot next to a panaderia and other restaurants. I mean, the name alone doesn't necessarily scream "we make amazing pizza," but this place is a prime example of why not to judge a book by its cover. The pizza is here retry darn amazing! I got half chicken bacon ranch and half kebab supreme pizza, and both blew me away. Even the leftovers that I took for lunch the day were still BOMB! I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time. Finally made it in! We got some hummus for check in and then we did half kebab pizza, half swedish pizza and mushroom pizza. When our half and half pizza came out, our server told me that they accidently made it half Hawaiian and they were making a medium swedish for us. She apologized multiple times and I said no worries. I'm a little bit picky on pizza, but theirs is delicious. The crust is perfectly crisp and the edges have a nice bite and crunch. The kebab pizza is super yummy and great flavor. I really was interested in the swedish because it has banana and curry on it. It was definitely different, but delightful. Caitlyn took our order and delivered the food. The food here is delicious, we've once had pepperoni pizza and wings and it was amazing. Be careful ordering through delivery though, once they hand the order over to the service, in today's instance GrubHub, the restaurant does not care what happens and whether or not the customer is happy. At 11:12 we received a text that our order would arrive between 11:20-11:30, and 11:18 that the driver was on the way. At 11:28, another text was received that the order had been cancelled. After calling, they said it was a GrubHub error and assured us the pizza was on the way because it was made and was picked up. Admittedly, I don't know much about the inner workings of restaurant to delivery service communications, but the lack of concern is well concerning. If it was their own delivery driver, they'd be all over them finding out what happened with the delivery. Edit: Later in the evening, we received a call from the manager expressing her regret for how things unfolded. Regrettably, with GrubHub, once they pass the delivery onto the driver, it is out of their hands. She did encounter the driver later in the day and she asked him what happened with our order. He told her that because it was cancelled, he just gave it to someone in need (likely himself). We never cancelled our order though, and neither did Kraving Kebabs. Still waiting for a response from GrubHub, and the manager of Kraving Kebabs is also going to see what they can do on their end with GrubHub and has also offered to redo our order for us at no cost. Going to bump it back to a 5* review because the food has so far always been good. I like to think an issue with delivery drivers through GH and DD like this come few and far between but still be weary of it. I know with DD I have received contact information for my driver, but we received nothing of the sort from GH on this order. Edit 2: After finally speaking with GrubHub, they confirmed it was GrubHub that cancelled the order due to technical difficulty. The technical difficulty being the restaurant never "confirmed" the order. Upon cancellation the driver did whatever he did instead of contacting us or the restaurant as he should have. read more
