They came out to fix our ice maker. Jose did find one issue and order a part to fix it and came back 2 days later once the part had arrived. He installed that part and we paid him and we're told we had 30 day warranty on service. The ice maker wasn't working the next day and we called him immediately. He came out to inspect and since he initially failed to look at both parts of the ice maker and fix the entire thing at once, there was a second part that was broken. Although the new part installed kept the ice from freezing, it was still not being released into a cup at the touch of the button. This was going to be $200 plus issue, but he would not fix it under the warranty. In addition to this, he scratched our floors moving the fridge. I emailed late Friday evening for a washing machine repair request and by Saturday morning Belinda was very prompt in responding. I was even able to get a same day appointment that Saturday. Tim came out listened to my concerns on my washer, then we ran a quick rinse and he had a couple of suspicions regarding the noise. He opened up the back of the washer and did a process of eliminations on the noise. Tim was great, we talked through a couple of options and the conclusion was it would be about the same price to fix it as getting another washer. Horrible, Horrible experience, would never recommend this place to anyone. They had a tech named Jose come to my place for my dryer getting hot!! mind u this was only a two year old samsaung dryer!! He literally had my whole dame dryer took apart and claimed he fixed it. Charged over $200 dollars and I paid them. Within the hour I started a load to find yeah it heated up but now it would just shut off out of know where. Called them back they wouldn't come back for 3 days and on that 3rd day hour before appointment they call me to say they have no tech available that they had to reschedule so unprofessional. Finally got them back out here for them to ask for more money as they think they know what it was... Ah no..... I bought a new refrigerator from a home improvement store a couple of years ago. I was disappointed when the ice-maker started acting up. I searched Yelp and discovered KRB Appliance Repair. I did notice one negative review from Samantha E dated 4.19.2017. After reading her other reviews, which were all 1 stars and negative. I decided to give the company and opportunity based on the other positive reviews and discount the one negative review as a fluke. I believe KBR Appliance Repair is a family ran business who goes over and beyond to please their clients. Jose came out the first day and defrosted the ice-maker and hoses that ran from the ice-maker to the waterline. Unfortunately, simply defrosting the ice-maker did not fix my challenge. I called the company back to schedule another work order. Jose came back out to verify the problem with my refrigerator and suggested it must be the motor. During the second visit he defrost the lines again. He also informed me that I would only pay for the parts since I had already paid for labor when he came back with the new motor. The next day, my ice-maker made one batch of ice and soon melted. When Jose came back with the new motor, I told him the ice-maker made ice this past week once. He immediately told me then your motor is fine. He felt it was the defroster/regulator that was causing the ice-maker to freeze over and not make ice. Jose did not install the motor. I was impressed he did not take advantage of me and install a new motor that would not work. Instead, he rescheduled another appointment to come back with the correct part. It has been a couple of weeks since he fixed my ice-maker and it is going strong. I have had no additional problems. I found them to be qualified, attentive, respectful, highly moral, professional, and ethical. I would happily recommend the company to family and friends. read more

Fridge went out during Easter weekend while the COVID-19 was raging. Only KRB messaged back. I called on Monday, and we made an appointment for Tuesday. Jose came out and let us know that we needed a condenser. He said that they needed to get a new one and that Isaac would be back on Thursday to install it. Isaac showed up on time and was very knowledgeable and professional and had it installed (with his PPE mask on) in an hour. It seems that the condensers on Kenmore Elites have a reputation for failure and he reassured us that this one is a much, much better condenser and has a one year warranty. Problem solved! Our dishwasher wasn't draining and a guy came to look at it but honestly he was here for a total of like 10 mins and just pressed a few buttons(nothing we didn't already do ourselves) then stated our dishwasher was not moveable so he couldnt check what was wrong. Jose Hernandez came out twice to repair our appliances: dishwasher last year and most recent our refrigerator. The first time he repaired our dishwasher, it didn't spin/wash. He ordered another part and came back few says later, and to this date, we had no problems. For our Samsung refrigerator, it wasn't cooling right. Needed to find someone to have a look at our washer because water was coming out from underneath. I googled repairs for washing machine and KRB Appliance was the first one and also had good reviews (which is what I look for first). I called them first thing in the morning and they were able to come that day and showed up around the time frame that he said he would. Ok people, let me tell you a little story! First of all DO NOT USE THIS GUY!!! He had great reviews and so we asked him to come out to take a look at our fridge. Sent him a pic of the s al coming off of our fridge and he said he could fix it and he would order the part. At no time did he come out to look at the fridge. A girl from his company called and set and appointment and then the day of half way through the appointment window he called to say he never said he would be there at that time and then cancelled. We contacted him a couple days later to see when he was available, and he finally text back 7 days later! Then when he did come out he was 30 minutes past the appointment window so only my son was home and he did a horrible job. And he only fixed the seal on one door. He didn't even tuck the new seal in to the door of the fridge. He has a 30 day guarantee on labor and 90 days in parts. So I called and told him he needed to come out and do the job right. He just left here after arguing with me that it is fine, and that he was asked to order the part. I told him the whole reason we contacted him was that I am not an appliance repair person and the whole idea was for him to come diagnose the problem and then fix it, properly!
