Horrible!!! Do not use this company. Our home warranty company contracts with them so we had no choice. The guy came to fix our microwave. He stayed for maybe 10 minutes looked at the built in microwave never actually looked at what was wrong with it and said it was installed wrong and wasn't a built in. Mind you we purchased this home a few years ago and had sears do a repair on the same microwave under our same home warranty. He said I'm telling them you need a new one and left. We now have a denied claim since they are saying it can't be the same microwave they fixed a year ago and NO working microwave. If we want to have someone else come we have to pay a service fee again. They are hustlers obviously looking to get more money from our home warranty at our expense. Run! read more

This guy is terrible. Told us that our microwave was not a built in microwave, took some pictures, was here for 10 minutes and left. Then we get a call later from American home shield and said that our claim was denied. We had this same microwave 2 years ago and they had serviced it. Appliance Tech was contracted by my home warranty company to repair a dishwasher that was leaking. When the technician (Barry) arrived, he noted that there was no air gap installed and left. This house was built in 1974 when air gaps were not required by law. He notified the warranty company who denied my claim. I immediately installed an air gap (which I've done many times before), and the dishwasher still leaks. I informed the home warranty company who will be sending out a different company to (hopefully) take care of the problem. No, I would NOT recommend using Appliance Tech. read more

No Stars, This guy was sent by my Home Warranty company to fix my stove that I accidentally broke trying to clean underneath the cook top. He came out and looked at the stove, stripped the screws trying to get them out, lied and said that he had to order ALL burner parts,that he couldn't order just one. He broke off a screw in a part that wasn't broken so I was stuck paying for his mess! He told the warranty company that I broke the screw. FYI, If I had removed the screws to open it then I wouldn't have bent the tubes in the first place and wouldn't have had the need to call!! BEWARE this guy is only in it to cheat you!!! read more

I am so enraged by this unprofessional company I can't begin to tell you. All I will post for now is DO NOT, DO NOT patronize this business. They are not professionals. The worst customer service I had a glass stove top to be fixed thur my home insurance which hired this company to come and fix the problem but only made it worse I was told to take my range out to the middle of the floor and once it was "fixed" for my self to push it back it and that if it broke while I pushed it back it was my responsibility. While I waited for my husband to push it back we realized the stove top was uneven to the countertop. So I called the insurance and told them it wasnt installed correctly and appliance tech blamed it on the level of the floor which had never been a problem before. My husband took the whole stove apart him self and fixed the problem him self. The tech man didnt put half the parts in the right place and disnt fix the vent witch was making the stove lop sided. American Home Shield sent out Appliance Tech regarding my dishwasher. Barry came and diagnosed the problem. Although he was unable to fix it at the time because a plumber would be needed first he was very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely be comfortable having them return for future appliance repairs. read more

I was concerned by previous reviews but was extremely pleased with Appliance Tech's service. Our dishwasher quit working so I called the home warranty company, they said Appliance Tech would be calling. Barry called first thing the next morning and set an appointment for the following morning. He called the evening before to confirm the appointment, then showed up promptly at 8:00 am. He diagnosed the repair quickly and even suggested that we cash out the repair value from the home warranty company (even though he'd obviously prefer to make money on the repair) and put it towards a new dishwasher. Barry was very professional, and I would call him again if we need other appliance services. read more

I had this company out for a home warranty issue, and this was the worst customer service I have even gotten. They never answered the phone, it was always a machine, took 3 days to get a call back, and then when the tech came out, he said the dishwasher most likely needed to be replaced and he was going to call the warranty company. Well the warranty company said it was not covered and I would have to pay out of pocket for the new one, I was a little upset because I feel that it should have been covered, but whatever! However, this guy did not even call me back to give me a quote for a new one!!! I guess he got his quick $60 for a whole 10 min he spent and just did not want to help me! Being a business owner myself, I know how important it is for quality service and this was not it. If he did not have time to do the work, or did not want to help me install a new one he should not have even taken the call from the warranty place! VERY BAD BUSINESS! read more

I wish I could give no stars!!! A guy from appliance tech came out told me my stove and oven needed to be repaired have parts replaced or replace the whole unit later in the afternoon I get a call from old republic insurance and they said they got the report and my stove and oven just needs to be cleaned I said that's not what I was told my oven and stove is still not working even with it cleaned we just bought our house 7 months ago and it's a 2002 so I'm guessing the oven n stove was just as old as our house anyways the insurance tried calling appliance tech and could not get ahold of them to straighten this out and they couldn't even leave a voicemail I was beyond furious because we have kids they need healthy cooked meals not to eat out and have junk food our oven and stove is our only way of cooking we do have a microwave but honestly who wants to eat nasty microwaveable food i hope you avoid appliance tech at all costs I paid $60 for nothing they guy was here about 5-10 minutes and wrote me a receipt and left I thought everything was going to be ok and my oven and stove we're going to get fixed luckily our insurance put in a request to dispatch to send out someone else out asap I'm very happy with who they sent out he is here now on a Sunday!!!! read more

I was very pleased with Barry and Appliance Tech. Within 15 minutes of reporting a problem to American Home Shield with my dishwasher, I received a call to set up an appointment within 48 hours. My home warranty sent this guy out to my house to diagnose and repair my dishwasher. He is the worst. First off, he's not flexible with his schedule to accommodate his customers. I had to completely re-arrange my schedule (which affected others) in order to fit into his day. He came on time. I don't like to hover over repairmen, so I stayed in the next room. I didn't hear any movement in the kitchen, where he was working. I looked around the corner and he was sitting on the floor looking at his phone! He was gone within 10 minutes. He did no work, so there's no way that he could properly diagnose the problem. He couldn't wait to leave my house; he basically collected my $65 deductible and left. This seems to be is M.O., based on all the other Yelp reviews. It looks like he never fixes anything. I've never seen a repairman with clean fingernails. This guy's fingers looked like he models rings for the home shopping network. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

So my insurance had this company come over to fix my dishwasher, it wasn't draining completely. The repair man came over and after about an hour of unclogging and re-draining the dishwasher, and $60 later I thought it was "fixed." Absolutely not, the dishwasher kept clogging and I kept trying to unclog It myself. It's been over two weeks and it has been clogged this whole time, meanwhile Appliance Tech told my insurance that the RO system was backfilling into the washer so they wouldn't pay for them to fix it again. So I spent over 3 hours taking it apart and cleaning it, It was ridiculous and when I got to the catch just before the drain I found a piece of broken glass that was an inch in diameter the was covering the drain hole. I put the dishwasher back together, ran it and it hasn't worked better than it does now. If you wan to waste money and time then call Appliance Tech to fix your appliance. read more

This guy does not know how to fix any appliance. Everytime the only thing he come and cares about is to ask you to pay $60 dollars service fee first then he left without even both to touch my stove or fix my microwave.
