Not bad, good flavoring, and service. We went a bit too early in crawfish season so they're not as big as we've hoped. The catfish was delicious, but a bit thin compared to other places, but good batter. The fries and hushpuppies are good. The grilled oyster was $$$ but worth it! Crawfish was B5G1 so you'll get 6 pounds for the price of 5! My only real complaint is that the way they cook their crawfish, they crushed a lot of them so most of the claws fell off. When we were done with the bags, it looks like a pound claws were just sitting there. Overall good, would go again if invited. But Joe had my heart. They also have check in, free drink per table but you'll have to ask them to take it cause they don't know their current promotion

On Saturday 24/2024, the young girl (waitress) there did not patiently taking our order. she should be helping us to explain about the menu ordering instead laughing at us. She did missing my orders and let us waiting long. I did come for the older waitress and she was great and helpful.

This is my first time coming here, and I enjoyed every minute and the staff were so hospitable The food was amazing and I will definitely come back with more people next time It is work the money and the wait time is short The margaritas are on point The ambiance of the place is magnificent for a Family Night out or a awesome date night Cashier Paola was so sweet and had awesome food choices and great conversation with excellent customer service

We ordered the crawfish and Cajun fries. The aren't so much "Cajun" fries, and we had to sprinkle more salt on it. I got the garlic butter sauce with medium spice, and my boyfriend got the original with medium as well. For someone who can't eat hot Cheetos, the spice level was pretty good and the crawfish were a decent size. We'd have a lot of small to medium ones and a large ones here and there. The service was good, and the environment was clean. It wasn't busy on a Sunday afternoon so we just walked in with no wait either.

Will not be returning... What I liked - Casual atmosphere, clean location, clean bathroom What I didn't like - I ordered the catfish and jumbo shrimp basket. It looked pretty good when it came out, but it just wasn't. The fish was undercooked and everything was just bland. The food was so hot when they gave it to me I literally had to blow and fan just to eat... Yes I like my food fresh & hot, but I also want to be able to eat it-- which was hard to do on an hour lunch when it takes the food 10+ minutes to cool before you can eat it without burning yourself.... The food came out so fast but the fish was very gummy. Service wise, I pretty much had to get up and ask for everything... water, check, & to/go box even though I'm not sure why I asked for one. The shrimp was probably the best thing going... It was okay, but not good enough to make me visit again. I should have kept my coins and went to Red Claws or Flying Fish

CATFISH A BIT SKETCHY: what more is there to say it was some bad fish and the manager was rude when we asked them to recook it.

    Weird flat tail

First of all, let me put it out here that I loved Krispy Catch. I come here at least once a month. Anyway, I don't know if they have a new vendor, but they now serve "fresh water crawfish". They taste about the same, but their tails are kinda flat and the shells are much harder. The most important thing is, they have worm looking strings in the heads. I'm 90% sure they're worms or parasites. Not all of them have the strings, but a lot does, so I don't think they're part of the crawfish. So I'm throwing away the whole bag and not gonna risk eating parasites. I'm actually worried that I ate some before discovered this. What a waste of money. I'm not coming back until they change their crawfish.

The crawfish was not fresh... there were a lot of claws at the bottom of the bags...

The crawfish wasn't fresh at all.... there were a lot of claws at the bottom of the bag... first time and our last.

Great food with great service! They make the crawfish spicy enough my taste when requested. Nice place to sit back and relax.

Have you ever just needed to relax after a long week of working?! This is the place…read more The Finch is a relaxing restaurant and var with amazing water views. Its located in Grand Prairie off of State Highway 161. If you go during happy hour, they have a selection of drinks and appetizers for $7 each, when regular price is at least $15 each. Ive included my receipt so you can see my first old fashioned was $7 but I missed happy hour end time - which made my same type of old fashioned $15. And by the way, this Brown Sugar Ild Fashioned is beyond delicious!! I would probably give this a 5-star rating, but the parking is so difficult and over-crowded. I highly recommend a visit.

First off, The Finch was offering brunch for Mother's Day and you did get a complimentary mimosa…read more I'll also note that I visited for Easter brunch previously, and the food was amazing, the staff was amazing, and my waitress Alicia made the experience great. At that time, brunch was around $40-$45 and I truly enjoyed myself. This time for Mother's Day, it was the exact same food, but the price jumped to about $55 per person. Everything was going well until my daughter asked for a to-go container for a slice of pie. After that, the manager, Joe, walked up to our table of eight adults and two children and literally rolled his eyes and stared us down for what felt like 10-15 minutes. I would normally give courtesy to our waiter, but instead of helping, he sat there with the manager talking negatively while we were still dining. I can't even remember his name, but he appeared very unkempt. Meanwhile, the table next to us had two girls dining, and he continuously checked on them asking if they were ready to go or needed anything else before leaving. We arrived around 1 PM and by 2 PM we were already getting death stares from management, as if we had overstayed our welcome. We were not even there for two full hours, yet the entire experience felt rushed and uncomfortable. On top of a $513 bill, we still left an $80 tip, only to feel stared down over asking for one small to-go box for pie. Also worth mentioning: there are only TWO bathroom stalls while they are serving what looked like well over 150 people during brunch service, so the wait for the restroom alone was ridiculous. The food was still good, but the hospitality completely changed my opinion of this place. Prices went up, service went down, and the atmosphere felt very unwelcoming compared to Easter brunch. I'll gladly take my money back to downtown Dallas restaurants instead.

We used to live in HK before we moved to the USA to reunited with my whole families for good. To be very honest...their foods are AWESOME!!! Exactly almost 99% taste like the foods in HK local places. I have been missing those foods for years!! Besides...my only sister (older sister) used to eat Chinese food with me in some Asian places/restaurant and she loved HK style foods! My only sister passed away 2 years ago from Leukemia (blood Cancer)...my whole world cut into pieces.... I wished my sister still alive so I could have took her to this place, and I'm definitely a 100% sure she would love this place! Every time I come to this place...it reminds me of her ...I wished I'd found this place much earlier. I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone who is looking for some HK style food or even Seafood Chinese style. The foods there are marvelous!!

I love the variety of Hong Kong style items, the seafood options, noodles, rice and so much more. Enjoyed their egg drop soup, roasted duck noodles and fried rice. I recently brought the family here and they loved the hot and sour soup, flat noodles and fish fillet with Chinese broccoli. While it's not a place I'll come solo, it's a wonderful restaurant for family and friend bonding. The building is old, but it feels nostalgic. Decor and the fish tank remind me of authenticity and pulls me back to a time where I was raised.
