Only place I've gone, ordered 2 dozen donuts and the worker asks, "for here?" Yes lady, toss in a small diet soda. I'm feeling a little health conscious today. Drive-Thru...that can be a hot mess. The lines are long, and you get people that stare at the menu like it's written in f*cking hieroglyphics. Sorry, but I'm very impatient and I'm the type of person who likes to go in, order what I want and leave. Their menu is tricky. You are lead to believe that a dozen donuts are about $6. WRONG. That's only if you order a dozen glaze donuts. Anything else is priced individually. You have been warned. I came in order 6 donuts and it was almost $8. I didn't realize each donut was between $1.29 - $1.59. They're donuts are good, but they are damn small. Their menu is not really consistent. Sometimes I come in and they have banana fritters, apple fritters, blueberry donuts, strawberry glazed, etc. and it seems now when I go, none of those goodies are there. And i don't even remember how old i was when i first had one, but i remember how amazing it was. I remember waking up in the morning on saturdays when i was younger and making my mom take me to Krispy Kreme for the "Hot Donuts Now" amazingness and i would stuff one down my throat the second i had the box in my hand. God only knows how i was underweight my entire childhood. 10 years later and i still love them, but not nearly as much. Now i just wonder HOW i possibly ate so many when i was little without getting sick and being obese. I could easily eat at least 5. But now they are wayyy too sweet for me to eat more than 1. Mayyyyybe 2. Now they have mini donuts as if the originals weren't small enough. All of the Krispy Kreme's in my area have closed down so now i'm forced to drive to Burbank just for some amazing, artery clogging deliciousness. I actually just came back from getting some with my boyfriend. But they weren't that fresh :( It's still some of the best donuts around, hands down. And the day they go out of business too, i'll probably cry. A few short years ago, this was Pinkberry. When a store opened, it was almost an event and the lines were long. Krispy Kremes started popping up like weeds. Then, the Atkins diet hit big, carbs became evil and Krispy Kreme became the enemy. It seemed like, overnight, these friendly looking facades started to disappear. No one cared about the flashing red light letting you know that the donuts were coming out fresh. I've always had a soft spot for them, though. In fact, they remain the only donut I will eat- never been much of a donut fan. It's been awhile and I was in the center and couldn't resist the urge. My husband and I picked up 3- the chocolate glazed cake, raspberry filled and an apple fritter. All: eh. Mediocre. Not worthy of the legendary donut King status they once held. The sign to signal motorists off the street that they had warm, freshly baked donuts flashed and instantly there was a line of cars down Van Nuys Boulevard a half a mile long. As a kid I used to go here pretty often with my family, whether it'd be celebrating an event or just because it's doughnuts. My favorite thing about coming here is watching the donuts be made, I always thought that it was so interesting and fun to watch and now that I'm older, I bring my younger siblings to watch the doughnuts get made whenever that sign is lit up. If you're from out of town I think it's worth checking out and if you're an LA native it's usually a hit or miss, but honestly you can never go wrong with the original glazed. We don't have Krispy Kreme Doughnuts stores back home in Bakersfield. Oh, we have plenty of doughnut shops, but nothing even begins to be in a league with this Krispy Kreme Doughnut store. First of all, it is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or at least their drive through is open 24 hours. The dining room hours are slightly more limited, although the dining room was packed at 11:45 pm when I was there. Yes, we do have 24 hour doughnut stores back home, that's not what so amazed me. What amazed me was the drive through. Not only can you get doughnuts without leaving the warm and cozy comfort of your car, but they actually offer a number of different combos just like the value meals at other fast food places. I opted to skip the combos and just buy two doughnuts, one original glazed and a banana eclair. The original glazed just about melted in my mouth it was that good. The banana eclair both looked pretty with a layer of chocolate icing and a zig-zag pattern of yellow icing, but tasted good too. The banana custard filling was the "icing on the cake" and the perfect surprise filling for the doughnut. Krispy Kreme serves Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf coffee I went on my way with sugary sustenance to keep me going me going on my long drive home through the Grapevine. read more

I mean come on who doesn't like this place. The donuts are probably the best I've had. They sometimes give free samples of the famous glaze donut. I love their cinnamon bun donut. It's a favorite ever time I go. I would rather wait in the line than the drive though since I don't like wasting gas and I can easily just walk in and watch the donuts be made. There is defiantly parking by the place so it's not hard. The line however can get very long inside and it might seem daunting but it's worth it. The people are so nice about what you order. Arrived hoping to order the Reese filled donuts. Unfortunately there were none.We still purchased 2 dozen donuts. Sale person stated due to the sale yesterday. Ok I get that. Would have been nice to take the signs down. The worst part was the employee helping us was rude and made us feel rushed. Then she wanted to try and satisfy us by offering my daughter a free sample after we completed ordering. That normally happens at the beginning. Kinda sad to see customer service lacking here. I love Krispy Kreme and the 24/7 part makes it even better! My only complaint would be some of the people who work the night shift are either half asleep or they DON'T like their job. I always have to repeat my order more than three times and they still get it wrong. I understand you are probably busy cleaning the restaurant but, if you have a customer stop what your doing & do your job properly & efficiently. I reside in Woodland Hills, ~40 miles round trip. WORTH IT. There are no donuts that compare to a hot Krispy Kreme, oG glazed donut. It literally, YES LITERALLY, melts in your mouth. You can see how it is made when you enter this place, from the dough to the DOHHHHH when it hits your mouth. They constantly have a buy one get one free dozen deals going on, but lines can get very, VERY long, as people know GOOD donuts. Open 24 hours, so whether you crave it at 3pm or 3am, it is available for you at your convenience. Really good service, especially by the gentleman taking orders at 3am. The boys and I were out and made a couple bad decisions and wanted to end the night with some more. Completely belligerent yet apprehensive the fatty inside me wanted to indulge. The intercom that spoke sounded like a voice from the heavens. He was a southerner, if the southern twang didn't give it away his hospitality did. How could this man be so enthusiastic and angelic dealing with people at 3am. He was genuinely excited and enthusiastic, I only ordered one donut to try and he responded to me with: "That's it?" Me: "That's it? Yea... Well should I order more?" Guy: "yea! Why not?" Me: "yea... Guys he's right. Why the F not?!" -We went in for one donut and left with a dozen. BUT WAIT... That wasn't it... Guy: "well... How bout some drinks?" Listen... If I needed a salesman I would hire this guy in a minute. Actually I've made it my goal to NEED a salesman just so I can offer him a job. I don't think he knows his value. How can you give Krispy Kreme any less Stars than they deserve?! Honestly, since this shop is along the freeway it is SO difficult to resist and stop in especially if you see the HOT NOW sign lit up, you know it's about to go down! The doughnuts here magically melt in your mouth, and gets you thinking where have you been all my life, you make me feel like a natural woman type of way! I seriously wish they had one in Oahu and not just on Maui but it is what it is. The prices have dramatically increased since my last visit here! yikes, literally $10/dozen! worth it? damn straight. Who hasn't been to Krispy Kreme's? I've been here numerous times and their donuts are just different than other donut shops, they aren't extremely airy nor are they thick. The thing that makes Krispy Kreme's Doughnuts different than other donut shops is the texture of the glaze they use. Recommendations The location of this Krispy Kreme's is awesome too. It is located in a strip mall with numerous stores and restaurants. So I would definitely recommend stopping by here to grab a treat after some intense holiday shopping. I would also recommend taking your children here because they show the whole process of making donuts which can be a nice treat for some. You might also want to take a dozen or so to a holiday party or gathering; they go perfect with coffee and hot coco and are also much more appealing in looks compared to other donuts in my opinion. Lastly, I would even suggest it for late night desert with either a friend, co-worker, or any of the sorts because who doesn't like a good donut. They also have fancy smancy drinks and a ton of tables. Tip For the most part they'll give you free samples if you're not sure what you want . . . so take your time and be picky ;) read more

Went through their drive thru at 11:30pm to order my favorite Cafe Latte, it was late and I just wanted a good cup of coffee. When I pulled into their drive thru I was the 2nd car to order. The car in front of me decided to order 5 boxes of donuts, choosing each one individually. It was an almost 20 minute wait and I was furious! The cars behind be were honking and some reversed out to leave. I was alone and not in a position to start any confrontations with idiots over donuts so I stayed, shutting off my car and waiting, pissed off! The A--hole in front of me didn't give a crap that there was a line of people behind him but the employees should have! When it was my turn to order I told the employee - "you should have considered the other 5 customers in the drive thru, not just the guy ordering all the donuts!"
