This Krispy Kreme location in Gambrills is truly the worst location I've ever been a patron of. I've had 3 major issues with either availability of donuts, poor customer service or rude management since June. Just last Friday I made a purchase online for pumpkin spice cake donuts. Well, when I arrive to pick up my order they ONLY had regular glazed. Let me say that again, they ONLY had glazed and NOTHING else. They actually had the nerve to seem upset that I declined to substitute glazed for pumpkin spice. I inquired about a refund and the manager Russ was a straight up jerk. Just rude and dismissive. I could say more about the interaction, but that sums up the unprofessionalism. On a previous occasions when I've came to get their strawberry glazed, they have no glazed because the machine was broken or something. I've had coupons that they've refused to honor because (in their words) they don't accept digital coupons with barcodes that are provided by corporate. They only accept them if you print them out. The manager who was rude on that visit was Quanie. I give up. I've tried to give this location chances and they continue to fail me. The inside is closed or the drive thru is closed. This place is bipolar. They were great when they opened but have completely gone downhill. Where do I start went here to get donuts two days in a row. The first day it was around 2:00pm and they had no donuts in stock the case was practically empty. When I asked would they be stocking up soon the answer was no. Most of the staff were young teens, some of them where standing around outside smoking Vapes and talking. The inside was not neat and clean infact there where no other customers in the store. Fast forward the the next day at around 10:00am again not very many donuts in the case however this time they were stock on the donut carts so we had to keep asking if and what was available. I guess at some point they ended up in the case. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. There was no haste to help the customers that were in line. Infact when we walked in there were a couple of employees standing around just talking and looking at their phones with no haste to help us. Needless to say we purchased our donuts they where good however based on the customer service I will not be returning. Customer service definitely needs some improvement. And the donuts should be stocked in the case properly so customers don't have to guess and ask what you have in stock. read more

Avoid this location if possible. Staff was extremely rude. When I walked in the girl at the register rolled her eyes and just couldn't help me...i asked her for a dozen doughnuts and she told me she was signed out of her register and kept cleaning her counter. She then argued with her manager and accused me of not ordering despite telling her my order twice and she refused to sign back into her register. The manager was sympathetic and maybe it was just a bad day for their staff but this was an hour before close, the entire exchange was super hostile wayy too hostile for a donut run. I used to love this place when it first opened. It saved us from having to drive far. But honestly, now I'd rather make the drive for better service. The drive-thru has been broken for a while, and it's frustrating, especially for moms with kids who have to get out of the car and go inside. On top of that, I've overheard staff say they hate the drive-thru because it "kills their time," which doesn't exactly make customers feel welcome. So while the donuts are still good, the overall experience isn't what it used to be. You may wanna reconsider if convenience and service matter to you. read more

Been to this Crofton location a few times when I've been over there when I've had a deal. The staff is unfriendly like I'm inconveniencing them, and there is no sense of urgency. They move at a snail's pace. They seem dumbfounded by these deals. On a positive, donuts & drinks are fresh & delicious. But the negatives of Crofton KK outweigh the positives. It's unfortunate there's some few KK around. There used to be one in Columbia Mall, which was closer to be than this part of Anne Arundel County. I've NEVER been inside of a Krispy Kreme nor have I ever had a Krispy Kreme donut. I know, I know. I'm embarrassed for myself. The inside of this location smelled like...Christmas? Christmas sweets to be exact. Sweet and comfortable but not overwhelming. To my surprise, there was a legit donut making machine and conveyor belt circling behind the counter. One can legit see the donuts be scooped up and placed into your to-go bag/box. If you have little kids--this would be a cute little excursion! The cashier was SUPER NICE. I didn't grab their name but they had a "Jaqueline" tattoo on their left arm. Believe it or not this was my first time to Krispy Kreme but my husband insisted it was a must try! First impression was the terrible customer service. After looking at other reviews of this location, I can confirm that the customer service needs a lot of help. We sat at the drive thru window for 10 minutes before anyone ever came to the window. However, let's start with the gross floor The floor was so sticky that my daughter actually did a small dance to show us how sticky the floor in fact was. I noticed that as well but didn't seem to make much of a fight since we had already parked and went inside.
