This store opened over ten years ago, and I still remember its inordinately long lines making the news back when I was in elementary school. On a recent visit, I've noticed that the store has become a shadow of its former self. I remember being offered a free donut while waiting in line here when I was a kid, and anything like that is now completely gone. Nevertheless, I still appreciate the quality of this store. So people have stopped caring for their donuts so much for whatever reason, but I think the work they're doing is still top-notch. They're now celebrating their 75th birthday (from 1937, I guess). I haven't noticed any change to their donuts during that time (of course I haven't been around for most of that time), but they're evidently pretty consistent. I've always been a fan of their normal glazed donuts. A dozen of those thin, shiny rings always made me very happy. Their shape is circular and uniform for the most part; they're pretty recognizable and are quite different from the generic chunky donuts. I was extremely impressed with this location today. I went in before 10:30 AM and was politely greeted by a man. He switched spots with this very nice woman who's name started with a Z! She helped me pick out the six doughnuts I wanted. When she offered me coffee, I realized they had iced coffee and I was so pleased! I selected vanilla as my flavor and it was probably one of the best iced coffees I've ever had! I'm shooketh!!! They added enough cream to make it just the perfect blend of sweet and creamy. I would have gotten all of the fun flavors they offer but I definitely will be back for round 2! They seemed to need to hire more staff but I won't lie, this place was SPOTLESS! Went through the drive thru and paid for 1 small and 1 medium drink, and a half dozen donuts. When I received the drinks I thought they looked to be the same size but was in a hurry and couldn't inspect them. When I got home the drinks were in fact both smalls and there was only four donuts in the box. It's disappointing when you pay for something and the order gets that messed up. Came here at 6:30pm on a Saturday night craving a soft warm original glazed doughnut. The drive thru worker said they were out of original glazed. How are you already out when you are open for over four more hours (until 11pm) and you literally have a conveyor belt that makes the doughnuts. Honestly, that's disgraceful. I tried ordering a few other things and each time, the attendant had to go and check to see if they had the other item available. Pretty sad. While I have had the original glazed doughnut at work on several occasions, this was my first visit to the store and purchasing them myself. The store was quiet on a weekend around noon and I was welcomed immediately by the staff. It was nice and clean in the store and the doughnut case was stocked full. While there, I opted to get a half dozen so I could at least have a taste of each of the doughnuts since I may not return for a long while. These were my options and how they tasted (this is based on my personal taste preferences!): Original glazed - this was standard, and I enjoyed it Chocolate iced custard filled - I disliked the chocolate, the custard was meh, the doughnut was fluffy Glazed raspberry filled - the raspberry tasted manufactured and not super enjoyable Glazed lemon filled - same as the raspberry!! Maple bar - the maple coating was not very pleasant and the doughnut itself was not super fluffy Glazed blueberry cake - this was the BEST one, and came recommended by the server when I couldn't decide a final doughnut to purchase! Overall, it was a good price point, and I got to try a few things I normally wouldn't. However, the only doughnut I actually ate was the blueberry cake (as suggested by the employee) so I'm glad I did try several flavors. The evening so called manager Debra, does not act like she has any supervision experience on how you handle yourself .I have always had a good experience here for my donut go shop for the past 11 years until recently , Debra the evening manager (she does not act like she can handle being a manager) very rude and unprofessional! as long as Debra works at this location . Would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered 12 assorted donuts over drive thru, but they missed 2 of the donuts I asked for. I noticed the missing donuts once I reached home and immediately called only to be told that they probably missed them, but since cost of 12 donuts was the same as that of 10 (2 free if you bought 12?), I got what I paid for!! I offered to stop by to pick up the missing donuts, but I was told that I'll have to pay for the missing two (as they were free anyways). The good old New Year's Resolutions. The usual staple in my resolutions would be the: "stay fit through exercise and healthy dieting." So nine days into 2009, my friend and I decided to go on a hike. After a five hour long hike up to Poo Poo Point (where my friend and I got lost and bit it on multiple occasions due to the ice and snow... by the way, hiking in January? BAD IDEA), I decided to tell my New Year Resolutions to suck it. Limping down from the mountain with our sore legs, we got into our car and drove to the Krispy Kreme for a donut to soothe our injured and aching bodies. We drove up and we see that it was empty inside and got bummed. But then we realized the drive-thru was still open! Thank God for lazy people! We got our $1 original glazed donut and it was warm and gooey and OH SO delicious. We savored every last flake of the glazed sugar that fell from the donut. I come here every now and then to buy some donuts for special events. They are both delicious and are amazing. I'm a fan of the original glazed, it's an all time classic and delicious. I love the consistency of machine made donuts since all donuts are like every other one. It's also a really cool experience watching them produce donuts as well, you should ask when they are going to make more donuts and if you have time you should stick around. I love this store with all my heart and soulllll! It's perfectly located in the hussle and bustle of Issaquah so quick access to and from. I'm a fan of their original glazed even though I've ventured out and have tried their more creative doughnuts as well - I always go back to the original glaze! Kool Kreme is an excellent idea and the closest thing to custard consistency I can find outside of NY state. You either love Krispy Kreme donuts or you don't. The original glazed is the standard own litmus test for most folks, preferably when it's hot. I get tired of these easily but not their jelly and Kreme-filled concoctions. The Issaquah location was one of the first in the area, and it has held up pretty good over the last several years. Service is usually friendly, efficient, etc. For whatever financial problems KK had during the dot-bust era, their stores seem to be pretty consistent. Folks in Latte-land may scoff, but IMHO Krispy Kreme coffee is seriously underrated. They offer three strengths - Mild, Rich and Bold. I prefer Rich, it's a smooth yet full-bodied cuppa. I would not compare Krispy Kreme to Top Pot for example, I don't think they're in the same league. But for what it is, I think Krispy Kreme does a lot of things right. read more

I was there on 03/05/22. The bathrooms were horrible. Oh my stars. They hadn't been cleaned in days! The employee got my order completely wrong. When I went back in to get what I actually ordered. the employee took out the wrong donuts from my box (which I had taken out to my car and found out that they were not what I ordered) and put them back on the tray in the display case to resell to other customers. I was shocked, appalled, and horrified to see the employee do that. I didn't touch the donuts but wow! How amazing! This was one of the worst transactions I have ever had at a business. Especially if you add Covid to the mix. Atrocious is the only word to use for the training, customer service, and performance of the two teenage employees on shift that day. This is just the tip of the iceberg on what happened that day. DO NOT go to this Krispy Kreme. This is a warning. Putting back donuts that have left the store and then returned is so wrong on so many levels. The Department of Health would have them shut down so fast. Saturday afternoon, boyfriend & I were driving back from North Bend. Without notice, he stops, parks outside of a hardware store, and tells me "I have a surprise for you" (bigggg grin on his face). I had no idea where he was leading me, until we turned the corner. Krispy Kreme!!! Krispy Kreme donuts are pretty damn good when they are fresh off the conveyor belt. And it's fun to watch the donuts, slowly working their way through the big pot of grease, under the frosting shower, and those poor misshapen outcasts slowly moving toward the reject trash can. I am a huge Krispe Kreme fan and have been to multiple KK's from all over, and this is probably the worst one. I live about 15 minutes from this one and when my nephew comes to visit he begs me to take him to Krispe Kreme, too bad its this location. We always try and go early in the morning because that seems to be the only time of day you can get a hot donut. The past two times we have pulled into a "hot now" sign only to find out after we have bought them that they are not hot. Turned around and returned it asking why the sign was on. I can totally see why. The doughnuts here are made well, and you can see them being made right before your very eyes when you enter the shop. The atmosphere of the shop is retro, and so cool! I've had the glazed original straight from the deep fryer then covered in sweet, sweet glaze under the glaze fall. It is to die for! I am not a fan of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. This review is on its new soft serve - Kool Kreme. I have not had such crèmey, smooth soft serve for a long time. Very good service, reasonable price and there is a drive-through. I saw the difference of dining in Vs drive through; people get much bigger serving than drive through. Get the Kool Kreme. The regular cone is gianormous. They also have a kid's cone for a little less. It's not listed on the menu. Also had the sundae with the original glazed. Very good as well.
