    Pumpkin Spice Specialty Latte
    Tiffani M.

Haven't had Krispy Kreme in over a year and man did these donuts hit the SPOT! The pumpkin spice frappe was also delicious and very on theme for the Fall. The decorations were cute for Halloween and the staff were nice as well. It's always nice to go in when it isn't busy because then you can take your time staring at all the different options before you choose. Parking of course is limited but I did manage to get a spot right on the side of the building and it was free! I look forward to visiting again maybe next year.

Yes. 1000% recommend. Stop by and try some donuts! Recommend in the mornings when it's fresh. We grabbed 6 on a Friday evening (past 8pm) and a few were definitely stale but that was really our fault for going too late in the day. My favs, classic glazed, chocolate glazed with kreme, and glazed chocolate cake or sour crème donut. You can also grab Krispy Kreme donuts as Target or Acme super markets! So good!

Awesome downtown location. They always decorate really well for whatever holiday is in season. Their Halloween display last year was FABULOUS. Donuts and coffee are always fresh. Employees are friendly. Nice outdoor seating area. I stop here whevener I can!

It's convenient and close to the Grove Street path station! You can even see the donuts being made fresh on the conveyor belt. Everyone here is so nice, that they frequently give out free donuts. Check them in the app and social media! The glazed donuts are just legendary. They also have specialty donuts like oreo ones, or gold flakes on St.Patricks day.

Fresh and hot. Yup, doubt the touristy things.

The red light was on indicating, "Fresh donut, just made." I never had one before and while it was a touristy thing to do... blah, I didn't care... had to order one of those delicious hot and fresh glazed donuts. I tried to share with hubby (save on calories especially when we are headed to dinner soon) but I "accidentally" ate more than my share of it. It was hot and slightly crunchy as you bit into it. The inside was pillowy soft. I just could not help myself. While I tried to look contrite, but somehow the glazed sugar all over my mouth did not help me look innocent enough. The delicious freshly made glazed donut is their signature donut, as per the manager. He was so sweet, when I ordered one to try out, he went into the back to pull off the conveyor belt the freshest one. I normally do not care for overly sweet desserts but something about the hot glaze melting all over my tongue... As George Takei's catchphrase, "Oh My!"

The servers were friendly; you can't go wrong with the original dozen glazed donuts. Don't forget to sign up for the birthday deal (you get a dozen glazed donuts for free!)

My favorite doughnut place in Jersey City! Located right across the Grove Street Path Station, this Krispy Kreme has the best original glazed in town. The staff there do a great job on keeping the store clean and decorated during the holidays and they offer doughnut hats to add some party fun! One thing I love the most about the store is you get to see the doughnut making process thru a glass window. This gives some extra fun experience when lining up to get your doughnuts.

Covid-19 update! Krispy Kreme is still very well-stocked and offering every variety and flavor of donuts that they normally would. On a Sunday morning (and Mother's Day, at that) the space was surprisingly very empty. It was only me and two other customers. Incase there is a crowd, they do have 6 ft markers on the floor with tape to help control the line flow. When this Krispy Kreme opened up a few years ago the line was literally out the door and down the block, but after a few months the hype started to die down. It was always pretty crowded though, so it is interesting to see it so empty. This was actually the first location in NJ, but in the recent years they've opened several more. Most importantly, the donuts are still fabulous. A dozen will run you around $15 bucks. I'm partial to the most classic flavors -- regular or chocolate / strawberry glazed. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! But of course there are also lots of elevated flavors like apple crumb, stuffed oreo and birthday cake. I'm not a fan of their coffee, so usually just donuts are the play. Despite living next door, I'm pretty good at avoiding temptation and don't come in that often. But when I want a sweet treat or need to bring over dessert to a gathering this is a go-to.

    Never show up empty handed...

I stop by KK for a variety box when visiting friends with kids, office treats or simply do not want to show up empty handed. I am not a big donut fan so I do not know what the trending donut flavors are. So when chosing a boxful I get a variety. The donuts are always appreciated and always devoured. The few donuts that I have eaten, a glazed and a chocolate frosted, were delicious. They were soft and flavorful and perfect with a cup of coffee. It is usually a simple in and out. The place is clean and the staff is always friendly and willing to give recommendations on the trending flavors. They all seem to advise to include the original glazed. They have Krispy Kreme baker hats available which are always a hit with the kids. There is no parking specifically for KK so it is pretty horrible. I usually, park at Starbucks across the street get a macchiato and walk over to Krispy Kreme.

The Jeju Green Tangerine Matcha honestly just tastes like a tangerine selter drink but in the best way, because I don't typically enjoy seltzer or carbonated beverages. I really enjoy the flavor and the carbonation isn't too strong, probably because I brought it home to drink. I don't really taste the matcha but I would definitely still order this again. 2. Matcha Einspanner. This is my first time having an Einspanner so I have no idea what I was expecting but this is DELICIOUS. It's so silky and smooth and the TASTE is just right up my alley. The matcha is light but you can still taste it. Absolutely, would drink this all the time if I could. 3. Purple Sweet Potato Latte. This. This. Omg, why haven't I tried this sooner?! The first sip and initial taste, I almost tasted nothing, just milk. And then all of a sudden, there's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. As a sweet potato lover, I was in heaven. I have absolutely no words for this drink, just try it. 100/10 recommend. This is probably my favorite one out of the 3 that I bought. I went around ... 2:45PM on a Friday and most of the seats were taken, if I remember correctly. There were a decent amount of seats and the space was decent. I liked the minimal aesthetic they had for the design of the interior. Not to forget, the staff at the register was absolutely wonderful, she answered all my questions, she's so sweet. I think I'm disappointed that I haven't tried this place sooner. Y'all get out of your comfort zone and try the Purple Sweet Potato Latte !! Or if not, just try this place out. I will definitely be recommending the Purple Sweet Potato Latte to all my family and friends.

While it was a fun and unique drink, I probably should have opted for something else. The topping was literally like actual tiramisu rather than just tiramisu flavoring, and it felt like there was more ice and tiramisu than latte. Personally, I would have preferred more of the tiramisu flavor without the full tiramisu texture mixed into the drink. That said, it was an interesting concept and I'm glad I tried it. I'd definitely be open to coming back and trying another latte on a future visit.

It's pricey, but welcome to FiDi. My one complaint is they try to upsell you. It happened to be 787 Coffee which I have visited plenty of times on the island and enjoy. With excitement and in Spanish I tell the cashier that I was happy to come across this place as I have tried them out in PR. How is it that this "jibara" apparently from Maricao, spoke to me in broken English while I am talking to her in our native language, total fail. Anyhow, I ordered the coquito hot latte with an extra shot of rum and oat milk, fine, I paid $11 for a very small coffee. Now what I can't believe is that the quesito pastry was $8. I really wanted it but it was not until I paid that I then noticed the price. I sat to eat it while I waited for my name to be called as mentioned by the cashier. I walked around looking at everything, the music very loud and hard for people sitting to have conversations, the place is very colorful and with many PR sayings, however the place also feels very Americanized with the music and layout. I still awaited my name to be called minutes later, but nothing. I approached the cashier, who was just standing there, to ask about my coffee and she wasn't able to tell me so she asked the barista steps away from her. He pointed to a cofre sitting on their counter, it had my name, and when I pointed out that I was waiting for my name to be called, she shrugged her shoulders and smiled like she didn't care. The coffee by now was not all that hot, I never tasted any rum or coquito flavor and felt I wasted my time at this place. What's more upsetting is that I left a nice tip for a service that was not provided. They couldn't even bring the coffee ti my table once they realized it was sitting there and they forgot to call my name. You can find better service elsewhere.
