We found KK in Oxnard, after we had dindin. Happy cuz mostly KK stores hv been closed in SF Valley areas since many yrs ago bfr C19& didn't hv it in spmkt anymore. The closer KK inBurbank & S.Monica far away. Love the many donuts variety. Taste donuts still soft & yummy, bought ori.glaze, choco glaze& maple choco & powder strawberry combo with 1 Med.coffee around $7.00 wth tax. The guy cashier was very nice & friendly helpful too asked if i had a member for rewards i think, but i didn't hv it & he asked me to installed the KK apps. I did it & he helped me how to scanned my reciept and I did it & recieved 1more freedonut I choosed 1 ori.glaze again. The lady who made me coffe was nice & friendly too& helped me for 1 free donut after I have dwnloaded the KK apps. The store has social dist. c19 rules for waiting Q line& clean. Every year, we order several dozen donuts for my son's birthday donut tower. Today we went in for this year's pickup. My girlfriend ordered the Krispy Skreme Donut Box for our Halloween party, but when I went to pick up the order it wasn't ready. Understandable, I patiently waited for the employee to fulfill the order. The employee filled a regular Krispy Kreme box (my girlfriend had ordered the Halloween box largely for the aesthetic of the box), and when I got home my girlfriend realized that unlike the advertised description which included a chocolate cake donut (my favorite), all of the donuts were the basic glazed variety with only the decorative frosting to differentiate them. Meh I got a box of their valentine donuts because they looked so cute and wanted to bring them to my kids and nephews. Their drive through goes on smoothly and I love it that it's right by the on ramp. However, when I got home I opened the box and only had green and yellow ones and only two had sayings on it. HOT NOW! I LOVE that sign!!! This is the second coming of Krispy Kreme to Oxnard. Don't know why they left in the first place and the impetus to return was, but hopefully this iconic donut shop can last this time around :) Found close to The Collection, it's located in a tiny commercial area that shares space with McDonalds & WSS. Good luck finding parking when things are hoppin' and that Drive Thru?!??! RIDICULOUS!!!! I finally walked in 3 weeks after the grand opening on a Monday morning and inside WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY?!?? Yay!!! Lucky me! This was way off normal from what the staff was saying but I ain't complaining ;) So the inner workings are a bit different from other branches. Their Mighty Donut Making Machine has been miniaturized to like 1/3 the size it typically is. So glazed donut output is MUCH slower now. Now I know why the lines here were so crazy long compared to other branches! Those glazed yummies now sleepily crawl out of the glaze bath rather than jump out like superheroes! That may be the reason why they aren't as "hot" as well, even though you get 'em straight from the conveyor belt. You have to now eat those thangs ASAP to enjoy the "perfect donut" in all its splendor ;P YES! Those glazed raised donuts ARE donut perfection fresh off the line! EASY RECOMMENDATION! What's not to love about KK?! Best part of this location is the option for drive thru. Wished they sold coffee bean drinks like the location in the valley, but it is a donut shop so can't complain too much. We picked up a dozen glazed donuts for $9.99. really really want to like this place since it's the only Krispy Kreme around and I feel they know this. I have had three separate incidents where the workers were so rude. Today I went inside to buy a dozen and they are always so short. I asked for birthday cake and she looked at me and said we don't make birthday cake donuts . Wow, I have never been disappointed at a Krispy Kreme. I usually go to the Burbank one but I live in Simi and thought I should try this Oxnard one, and boy was it the worst. I asked for a chocolate bar, the young man said they don't have any of their bars. Okay, so I asked for a jelly filled donut, but then he says they don't have any of their filled donuts. Okay, I was annoyed, but then asked for a few other basic ones they had them thankfully, and then I asked for the original (2 to be exact) and guess what?? The young man said they don't have any original glaze. Say what?!?!? That's what you're famous for I thought, so he said I needed 3 more to complete my dozen and I laughed and said "at this point surprise because I don't know which ones you actually have" and we both laughed. Then when I received my dozen, they were crooked, looked old and frosting was not as neat as it usually is. Thank you to the staff who worked on 11/1/2022 at around 8 pm. I had an issue with receiving cold donuts when the hot light was on. The cashier was very nice but was also like well I'm sorry there's nothing I can do and the manager isn't here to process a refund. I drove off but then I'm like no, this is not acceptable. There were three young ladies (black taller girl and two shorter Mexican girls) that saw me when I walked in and immediately tried to rectify the situation. The taller worker asked if I could wait 5 minutes. I was rushing to pick my daughter up from practice so I asked if I could come back after. They were all understanding and when I came back I had two dozen hot glazed donuts. Service here is terrible. I came here last time at night when the store hours said they were open, and they refused service because they were trying to lock up early. I came here this morning and they open at 5:30, it is now 540 and the girl flat out told me that they're not open till six. But they're not set up. When another gentleman and I asked why there was a customer inside and they were helping her, we were told that they had previously ordered and we're picking it up yeah we were told they weren't set up to start taking orders. After 5 visits could not get the donuts I wanted. I even walked in and they were making them and they were on the conveyor belt but would not sell me one. The manager said they were for the next day. This coupled with long waits and no selection puts this on my do not return list. I visited this location between the hours of 6pm and 8:30pm during the week on five different occasions. Solid place - we always come for caramel mocha frozen latte and hot light fresh hot original donuts during the free donut COVID vaccine promotion. I like their lattes even more than Starbucks by landslide. Sadly, the store can't make frozen lattes because they've been without base for over a week now. Came here by the request of our niece on Saturday 4/7 around 4:30 pm for some donuts. Apparently she comes here quite a bit and knew the layout. We were helped by Adam who was very friendly and offered quick service. Our niece placed the order and when she asked for cake batter which was out in the case, Adam made sure to get her one from the back. Very clean location and fresh donuts even at that time! This is more a review for Krispy Kreme in general, rather than this specific location. I just wish since it's a big chain they would be more inclusive and would offer more options for certain groups like vegan donuts. Maybe this is something to think about for the future. You're a CHAIN, not small Mom & Pop who's hours are til Midnight. I watched in parking lot my guess about 100 people drive in and back out over 30 minutes. That's a lot of business just lost. Got there a few minutes before closing with my 3 year old son. The young man helping us said we could stay inside and eat our donuts, another worker asked me if I wanted her to clean a table. I said no and went to sit down. A 3rd worker came and said we couldn't sit because they were closing in a few minutes. I told her the other two employees said it was fine.
