I actual love the glaze on these doughnuts. I may prefer the glaze to the doughnut, but the maple glaze had an off taste. Price: Compared to mom and pop shops, these things are small. Not that I'm up very much at 6 AM, but two days acgo, I happened to be up, and had a donut craving. Since I could get free delivery from Uber Eats, ($7.95 otherwise, are you kidding me?) I ordered a dozen - baker's choice. They open at 6 am, i ordered at 6:15. By 6:45, I was handing the driver a tip, and I hurried back into the house. I opened the box, and was immediately dismayed. I kicked myself for getting the baker's choice- of course they are gonna put the slow-movers in there. Da foik Izzat one? I asked myself as I ripped open a custard filled abomination with about 8 oz of yellow frosting on top. I poked a finger into the custard. It was stone cold. I tried another and another and then bit into a cold glazed. Every single donut was stone cold. Not just cool, but refrigerator cold. I also know a day-old glazed when I bite into one. 20 bucks for day old cringeworthy donuts? I got a refund. Shame on you, Krispy Kreme! Stopped by this place early in the morning because I was in the mood for some donuts and coffee for breakfast. When you go anywhere early in the morning, you'd hope to be greeted with nice and friendly people; that's how you get a good start in your day. The girl helping me was the complete opposite. She was rude, gave me such a nasty attitude, and rolled her eyes at me. Like uh, oh hi good morning to you too. 10/16/18 at around 2pm my friends went to get Krispy Kreme donuts and there was a filipino woman who helped them and was REALLY rolling her eyes in front of them when she was taking their order. Little do they know, we know Tagalog too, so the fact that they were speaking in Tagalog between one another was disrespectful. This woman would grin, smirk, and roll her eyes while assembling the donuts. They came in there with a Groupon deal for 2 dozen for $11, and they basically said, "they really came in here doing the most with their order". It is your job to be giving out donuts. So the fact that they thought they were slick to talk was what really got me. I suggest to get a job that you wouldn't have to be of service to anyone if you want to act like that. I remember back in elementary school when it was someone's birthday, they would always bring Krispy Kreme doughnuts to hand out to the class. This always seemed weird to me since the person whose birthday it was had to bring the food and hand them out to the classmates. Glazed Blueberry Cake 5/5: This one is my new favorite at Krispy Kreme. This doughnut is essentially an old-fashioned doughnut but a bit denser and has blueberries in it. I haven't tried this one before but I like blueberries and I like old-fashioned doughnuts so I figured why not? It's super flavorful and isn't overly sweet like some of the other ones. I like how this is denser than than a regular doughnut so I feel content just eating one instead of inhaling a whole dozen. I might be the only person in the US going into Krispy Kreme to get coffee. honestly if it's not straight out of the fryer it's no good. I think the half life is like 3 min or something. First off, the workers here are pretty fast so even if there's a line you won't have to wait too long. The donuts here are also fresh and warm if you come at certain times! It's not pricy either, a dozen donuts for $10 is a good deal to me. I wish I can give them more stars than 5. This is absolutely the most friendly location I have ever been to. We come here with our kids here to get some donuts and the staff is always so nice to them. The location is always busy as it is in a busy location with the movie theatre but they manage to take time to give out some balloons and coloring pages to all the kids that come by. I tried to leave a tip because of the wonderful service but there was no tip jar and they told me to just write them a wonderful review. Visiting this location always makes my day a little brighter.
