It's hard to drive by, even if it means crossing Orlando Avenue to get in and crossing back over again to leave, when that lit up 0"Hot Doughnuts" sign is beckoning us. So, today we answered the call of the sign. The employees here are always happy and helpful. And, as we decided what to order one of the employees even asked us if we wanted to sample on of the doughnuts that was just passing by on the conveyor belt! How do you possibly say "no" to an offer like that?!?!?! Well, you dont!!!! And did I mention the happy employees with excellent customer service skills at this location in Winter Park FL??? Two times I've attempted to get a doughnut from this location. 1st visit: the doughnuts in the glass didn't look appealing whatsoever. the kitchen area looked a bit unkempt, but I understand it may get busy. However, they weren't busy while I was there. Anyway, I drove about 15-20 minutes for this doughnut. I'm greeted by a worker, I tell them what I want. I noticed they weren't wearing any gloves and figured they would put some on. WRONG. I don't know how the doughnut was grabbed but I know it wasn't grabbed with a stick like they usually do at all the locations I've visited. I was disgusted and just walked out of the store with no doughnut. 2nd visit (last week of April): it was filthy. The top of the counter that house the doughnuts were dirty, crumbs galore. There was a customer ahead of me. While waiting I observed a male employee wearing one glove, he was opening boxes and doing other tasks. He goes to the register to help another employee with the customers in front of me which leaves him to service me. Again, the doughnuts in the case looked unappealing and lifeless. I saw the fresh doughnuts rolling on the conveyor belt and felt those were safer to eat. So I asked the worker "what are you going to use to grab my doughnut?" He says "oh, I'm going to use my glove and holds his hand up." Mind you, it's the same glove he had on when he went to the register and performed other tasks not involving food. I said, "you all don't have the stick to grab doughnuts with?" He says "oh yeah, it's right here," he held it up to show me. So I said "ok, can you use that to get me 2 doughnuts off the conveyor belt?" He did it no problems. I thought to myself, wow I'm finally going to get my doughnuts I've been craving. Boy was I wrong. On his way to the register, he was walking and trying to close my box and he nearly dropped them but ended up catching them. Immediately he says "my hand didn't touch them." That was pure bs to me. I know his hands touched them in some way, form or fashion. Disappointed yet again, I just walked out with no doughnuts. I took it as a sign that I didn't need them. I will never attempt to give this location another try. The Millenia location reviews aren't appealing either. I guess I have to drive out of town to get a KK doughnut. read more

It has been a while since I have visited this location. We moved and it's no longer an easy drive for me, however I stopped in after a doctors appointment to treat myself to some donuts Everyone was very nice, there wasn't a very long line and when one of the workers noticed there was more than one person waiting, they asked for another employee to help them. The interior is kept up nice and neat with the tables wiped when I went in. The staff is wonderful, polite and friendly, and the donuts are always the absolute best ever. Customer service has improved 100 fold and I may just have to make the long(ish) trip back read more

I have been to other locations and they were great too, but there are two ladies that work here who make the experience great. Unfortunately, I didn't get their names, but you will know them if you meet them. They have the best attitude. They are warm, friendly and personable when they take your order. I also can't say enough about Krispy Kreme supporting healthcare workers during the pandemic. On Monday they gave healthcare workers a free dozen. During these stressful times it was a gesture that made a big difference to me and my coworkers. While getting my free dozen I also grabbed a lemonade chiller and it is delicious. I had never been inside of a Krispy Kreme before. I have, of course, partaken of the deliciousness that are their donuts but have always had someone else pick them up. When I said the above to my daughter, she said that must be remedied. That I must see the livy donuts travel down the belt, hot and ready for my tummy. Unfortunately, they were not hot & ready. I don't know how I went this long without actually going inside a Krispy Kreme and it couldn't have been a better experience. I saw that the donuts were being freshly made and the smell of them was amazing. One of the employees offered me a free, warm, freshly made donut while I was waiting. It was the most delicious thing I've ever had for breakfast. I mentioned that it was my first time in a Krispy Kreme to the lady next to me in line and she told me about how they have freshly made donuts whenever the sign is on and their app will also show when the sign is on and those are way better than getting ones that aren't freshly made. I ended up getting a box of a dozen plain donuts and the box was still warm from the donuts when I brought it into work to share. Overall, it was a really great experience and the donuts were absolutely delicious. We were offered two dozen for $12, which seems like a ridiculously great deal. All of them were coming right off the belt and just melted in your mouth. 5 Stars for quick service for a big order without advanced notice. I'm not a big donut person. And I'm not a big chain person either. But when I needed 10 dozen donuts ASAP for an event, I turned to KK. I started in the drive thru, but they said I should go inside. When I went in they were completing another order but the gal at the drive thru window had already let someone know to get started packing up my big order. As they rang me up I was advised to order the day before in the future when ordering large quantities to make sure they're able to have it ready for me right away, but they quickly got my boxes bagged up (thank goodness for big bags!) and it was under $100. Not super economical but their donuts are so amazing their coffee has to be good too right? Nope. The hazelnut latte was an overly sweetened cream cup with a splash of coffee. On Halloween, they had special Halloween themed donuts and if you purchase a dozen donuts, you can get another dozen for $1. The line was long but it moved fast! The store overall was clean and we lucked out and they were making plain glaze fresh when we drove by. Staff was quick to greet us inside. They have a drive thru as well if you prefer that option. I love this Krispy Kreme location because the service is quite possibly sweeter than the donuts! I met Carol and she was so sweet in helping me pick out my assorted donuts and getting the best value. She even gave me a free large coffee! Parking is a breeze but it is on a busy street so be mindful of that. I also love the drive-through option. Obviously the original glazed are the best but they always have new flavors. Everyone is raving about this Reese's peanut butter cup doughnut, but TBH I'm not a fan.
