They have nowhere for customers to resolve food issues, so we're posting on Yelp. Bad sandwich. Dry frozen patty.
    Fred L.

There are no avenues for dissatisfied customers to address food-related issues with customer service at this restaurant. The receipt lacks a functional phone number and attempts to provide feedback through their website form go unanswered. This establishment seems to prioritize taking money over providing quality food. Issues regarding food quality should typically be addressed by the health department. After leaving a Yelp review, dissatisfied customers may consider contacting them. Located within a gas station, this chicken place rents out its space to various restaurants, which frequently change. Previous tenants, including taco vendors, maintained seating and offered a pleasant experience. However, the current chicken restaurant has removed seating, leaving customers with no option but to order and leave. Additionally, the unclean interior makes it an unappealing dining choice. On July 4, 2024, I ordered the chicken sandwich combo, which did not include a beverage, contrary to typical combo expectations. It consisted solely of a sandwich and fries, and surprisingly lacked the advertised ranch dip. Food: The chicken sandwich was disappointing as it turned out to be a frozen, pressed chicken patty instead of real chicken, despite real chicken breasts being displayed under the heat lamp. The patty itself was dry and small, more akin to a slider than a full-sized sandwich, and lacked the lettuce and tomatoes as shown in the photos I uploaded. It didn't satisfy my hunger and felt more like an appetizer than a full meal, which was misleading given the advertised combo. The sandwich consisted of a dry, thin frozen chicken patty on an uncooked hamburger bun. Moreover, frozen chicken patties are not real chicken, and the unknown processed ingredients in them left me feeling hungry again shortly afterward. The preservatives and chemicals in these patties can disrupt digestion and lead to lingering hunger, often prompting customers to order more. This is why opting for real chicken and whole foods is preferable. I expected a genuine chicken patty but received a frozen chicken slider instead. Fries: The french fries were good but were not hot because they had been left under the heat lamp for too long. Room temperature fries do not taste good. The cashier refused to provide ranch sauce for my sandwich or fries, insisting it would cost an extra $0.65. I opted not to pay for the ranch dip, so I ate my chicken sandwich and fries dry, without any sauce. Ranch sauce should be included with both the sandwich and fries, as it complements chicken well and has become a popular alternative to ketchup for fries. It's unusual and disappointing that they didn't offer ranch sauce with the order. Charging customers $0.65 for ranch sauce is not acceptable. How could a restaurant sell a sandwich with no sauce. Selling a dry sandwich with no sauce, then expect people to pay extra for the sauce is weird. Catsup, mustard, ranch or other sauce should be included with the sandwich. Service: The cashier only spoke a few words of English and seemed unfamiliar with American dietary preferences, such as our habit of eating ranch sauce with chicken and fries. When I asked for ranch sauce for my fries, she attempted to offer me hot sauce packets instead, and then informed me there would be an additional charge of $0.65 for ranch sauce. It appeared doubtful that she was legally employed there. She did not smile and seemed uncomfortable in her role. She did not inquire about my order when I walked first up to the register, but instead stood silently at the register as if I was the police, showing no welcoming demeanor expected of a cashier. Ambiance: Previous subleased restaurants in that spot provided stools for customers to sit while waiting or eating. However, the current restaurant has removed the stools, leaving patrons with no place to sit and wait for their food. I believe it's essential for restaurants with only a to-go window to offer seating because customers are usually hungry when they visit these fast-food establishments and need a place to sit. The to-go area was also unclean. It's crucial to clean the waiting area daily with disinfectant to maintain cleanliness, rather than only once a month. A restaurant should always strive to be clean. Moreover, the current restaurant struggles to attract customers even with its food specials, as they tend to upsell on everything, including charging $0.65 for ranch sauce, which is a standard accompaniment for chicken sandwiches and fries. Considering these issues, one wonders what type of restaurant will lease the location next after this one departs. A pizza place might be a welcome addition to this spot.

12 Piece Krispy Chicken, 6 pc cajun tenders, family fries, and 6 biscuits for $37.92...8/6/2023

So we randomly stopped at the Cheyenne location about 3 years ago and was surprised how good the food was. I see none of these restaurants have a stand alone location; all are located inside gas stations. So my wife found out they had a family meal that was cheaper than going to Popeyes. She ordered the family meal: 12 Piece Krispy Chicken, 6 Piece Cajun Tenders, Family Wedge Fries and 6 Biscuits for $37.92. We added a large chicken Jambalaya for $7.58. I was actually in shock the Jambalaya was not pork. The chicken lives up to the name...krispy. It was my cousin first time trying it she said it was delicious and couldn't stop eating it. The Jambalaya was not bad at all! I only took away a star because of the appearance and smell of the gas station.

Surprisingly good good chicken! I've seen it thru the months and finally decided to stop and try it out. I would say better than KFC and Popeyes chicken. A little bit of a wait because of "you buy we fry" motto. I now have a new chicken place! Awesome lady at the counter as well today. Ambiance not so much cause it's inside a gas station.

No speak English?? At lunch ?

Stopped for lunch and only employee there couldn't speak English? Wtf is that about? Definitely will never try this place again

I am sick and tired of ONE employee there. I wish I could leave a 5 star review for all the other employees but this lady doesn't even deserve one star. Older African American lady that wears glasses, I wish I had her name but she refuses to provide it when asked. And I'm leaving a review because everytime I go she's either snarky to her coworkers or rude to customers. The two other employees I have seen her be rude to don't deserve to deal with the hostile environment this lady provides. Whatever she is mad about she needs to leave that attitude at the door. The first incident was when they didn't have enough chicken for the order I wanted when the cashier asked her how long it would take for new chicken she was bothered that she had to make some. I declined and took what was done and the cashier just replaced the missing pieces with tenders. Keep in mind she's the cook!!! My recent experience: I ordered a 16 piece mixed chicken and two order of wedges. The cashier said they didn't have any fries and asked this problem lady how long for fries...her reply...yelled " We're close".... Ok that's fine The cashier asked if I wanted to replace the fries with macaroni or anything else...which I assumed she would still sell me the chicken. So I told her I would just take the chicken...the cook yells from the back "I said we're closed".... Yelled . So I left but like I said I'm tired of her yelling at her coworkers and customers so I went back to ask for her name. Before I reached the counter she yelled at me " didn't I say we're fucken closed".... I asked her for her name and she refused. Whatever she's mad about her coworkers and customers deserve better. The food is good but since they are independently own I won't be giving this location a penny more.

Do not waste your money. Food was a major disappointment. I got cold food. Chicken that was dry and looked and tasted like it was sitting under a lamp for a long time. They also didn't give me half of my order and gave me burnt biscuits. This place won't last long with this kind of food service.

I got the $5 meal deal and added mashed potatoes for .50 more.

Last Friday I stopped in to the ampm just for water, noticed this place and chatted with two of the most friendly people about who they were because I never heard of them. The gentleman behind the counter offered to give me three pieces to sample. I had already eaten just an hour earlier but really wanted to try it out. I received the samples and left, telling them that if it's good then I promised to be back. Today is Sunday, I came back as promised. The chicken was moist, "Krispy", and "Krunchy". The staff is very friendly and is exactly what you'd expect when your positively sending vibes out in the universe for great people. Give them a try if you haven't already!

Was craving fried chicken and decided to check this little spot out. It's located inside the AM/PM off Rancho and Craig. Walked in at 6:20pm and there were 3 people waiting for their food. I walk up to the cash register to order and there were 2 women working. They both walk past the register and look at me at least 3 times before I wave so they know I know they see me. It took another 5 min for one of them to come to the register and actually acknowledge me and take my order. At 6:33, The cashier, asked me what I wanted and I told her a 4 piece and a 3 piece, both dark with drumsticks. And I added 2 sides of Mashed Potatoes too. Pretty simple order, not too crazy. She asks me 3 times back to back to clarify the order...so I did, trying to stay respectful at this point. So 7 pieces of dark chicken (with drumsticks) and 2 sides of mashed potatoes. 15 min pass and I decide to ask the elderly lady (in her late 60s) how long she'd been waiting. She replies 55 min! WTF?! What did you order? She said just chicken tenders! At her 58 min mark, she lets the cashier know it's been almost an hour...the cashier replied with "at least you'll have fresh chicken right?! RUDE! Poor little lady just clammed up and walked behind us. The WORST customer service I have ever seen. Fast forward to my 40 min mark and by this time, there are only 2 of us waiting. The rude cashier left to go work the AM/PM cash register and the other lady was asking the girl that came after me what she ordered. I decided to let her know I was still waiting in my 7 pieces of chicken and she said, I don't even know what you ordered since I wasn't your cashier! BRO?! Are you serious right now?! If I hadn't already paid, I would've left. She said give me 15 minutes and both of your orders will be done. Like she just dropped the chicken in the oil! ‍. The area wasn't the cleanest and there was no seating to wait, so everyone stands around looking at each other for over an hour. Get my order at 7:45, over an hour after I got there with only 3 total customers while we were there! Finally get home to eat and open the chicken box (she put both orders in one box) and she gave me all wings! NEVER, EVER, EVER coming back here again. Not worth the wait, putting up with the shitty attitudes and customer service and def not worth the "decent" chicken. Stay away! Close this location down until you can hire capable employees that understand customer service and common decency. They get a 2 for the biscuits and the taste of the chicken. The mashed potatoes were just ok.

a box of krispy krunchy chicken

SERVED RAW CHICKEN WORST SERVICE / FOOD EVER EXPERIENCED. I don't know how this place is still open or how it doesn't have worse reviews. The person that served us needs to be fired. I would give it 0 stars if I could. My aunt went in the other day to order some food for her family and the older African American lady that wears glasses was beyond rude and disrespectful to her. Not only was she snippy but she was rude and she was rushing the order. !!!!Not to mention we were served RAW CHICKEN, COMPLETELY UNCOOKED. this is not an exaggeration either, you can see how pink the chicken is in the photo. My aunt went back to the restaurant to ask for a refund. My whole family works in food service so we understand mistakes happen and we remain kind and patient. This worker completely refused to refund us despite the fact that the chicken was completely UNCOOKED. She only said we could have more food no refund, and why would we want to eat there after seeing how we were served the first time?? Her demeanor was so rude she did not care what so ever about helping us. One of my family members is mentally impaired and would have no idea that what they were served was completely raw. That could have been detrimental to her health. Same goes for an elderly person. This is completely unacceptable and we will be taking further action.

This is the chicken not fresh at all it's hard and taste stale fried in old grease.
    Roslyn V.

Biscuit hard as a damn brick, chicken isn't fresh taste like it was cooked in old stale oil chicken skin is hard as cracklings. Come on y'all can do better than this I don't know what the problem is just say I'll stick with Churches and Popeyes. No more Krispy Krunchy stale chicken and hard damn biscuit shake my damn head. This is the Cheyenne and Rancho inside the gas station.

Our waitress was super friendly and upbeat but she immediately let us know that there was only one order of fried chicken left if we wanted to order it. We were not ordering fried chicken so it wasn't an issue but I thought it was odd that this is an item they would run out of on a Sunday. I ordered the chicken fried steak which came with mashed potatoes and greens. My husband ordered the catfish dinner which came with hush puppies, grits and greens. The food arrived pretty quick and was hot. My chicken fried steak was just ok. The mashed potatoes were good and the greens were the worst I've had. It was like a pound of sugar in them. Caught me off guard. It was so sweet that it was inedible. My husband's fried catfish was prepared perfectly! (We asked for it to be fried hard) It was hot, fresh and well seasoned! The hush puppies were a bit dry and taste like they roll it in the same fish fry as the catfish as it had a slight fishy taste but the grits were amazing! It had a white gravy/sauce on top of it and it was just soo good! I had wished I ordered his plate even tho we swapped a few forkfuls. One thing I noticed was the menu had changed. Based on other yelp posts, there were items that I had in mind I wanted to try when I got there like the egg rolls. The menu is vastly downsized from when they first opened which was a bummer. Usually when a restaurant downsizes their menu by that much, it's usually a sign it won't be open much longer. So go while you can if it's a place you've been wanting to try. We paid almost $80 for 2 dinners (not including tip). We did not get drinks since we had been drinking earlier. The price wasn't too bad for a sit down restaurant inside a Vegas casino.

Service was solid too, everybody attentive without doing too much. Drinks: I got the drink flight and I gotta keep it real... this was my only real complaint. Out of the four drinks, only ONE was good. I don't remember all the names, but the golden one with Jack Honey was cool. The other three? Easy passes. For $42, that ain't it. 3/10 Appetizers: Now let's talk food. The biscuits are CRAZY. Soft, buttery, fresh, and that pepper jam takes it to another level. They even put the jam in the hush puppies which is a power move. 10/10 The crab cakes were fire too. All flavor, real crab meat, no filler nonsense. Definitely something I'd order again. 9/10 Main Plate: I ordered the fried fish with Brussels sprouts and mac & cheese. The fish was top tier. Fried perfect, seasoned right, crispy but not greasy. 8/10 The Brussels were mixed with sweet potatoes, good balance, good flavor, just nothing that made me lose my mind. 7/10 The mac & cheese wasn't for me. Thick cheese sauce but no real flavor behind it. Just kinda there. 4/10 Overall: All in all, it was a good experience. Great service, good food, and a solid atmosphere. Even with a couple misses, I'd still come back and try more off the menu. Nellie's definitely worth checking out.

The service was friendly, and the Louisiana-inspired decor is cute and adds to the charm of the place. One thing to be mindful of: when ordering, our waitress casually suggested or repeated add-ons in a way that could easily be mistaken as part of the original order. For example, we ordered the traditional jambalaya, which also has a "loaded" option for an extra $10. We clearly wanted the original, but she repeated it as "loaded." Thankfully, my husband caught it and corrected her before it went through. Later, we noticed another table was upcharged for potatoes without realizing they were an add-on. So just a heads-up--be very clear when ordering and double-check what's included versus extra to avoid surprises on the bill. Overall, the food and atmosphere are solid--just make sure to pay close attention when placing your order.
