This place makes real good food. I have only tried the mashed potatoes and gravy along with the red beans and rice. Both items are so delicious. I recently had a craving for mashed potatoes and gravy along with red beans and rice. This is when I decided get it. I bought it through an order delivery via Postmates. Both items I had were delicious and I enjoyed this meal. I suddenly had a craving for mashed potatoes and gravy earlier this evening. So I stopped in and got this for a snack. I originally meant to get red beans and rice, but they were all sold out of this item. That's when I opt in for something else. As Yelp reviewer Sam mentioned, this is real solid food in the area. If you want some freshly cooked items on the menu, it's best to come in earlier. Preferably right when they open. Otherwise, positive experience here.

This place has good chicken. It also has good red beans and rice. The mash potato and gravy was delicious. The breast piece sizes were generous .

    "Buffalo Wings"

Chicken is great. Just don't get the wings. These are the "Buffalo Wings". Kind of expected supermarket brand buffalo sauce lathered over regular wings coming from a KKC, but this is next level.

I ordered through grubhub a 4 piece chicken tenders meal along with wedges and 2 biscuits. chicken tenders were dry and had no spice at all. it honestly tasted like eating a dried up fried rat. wedges were fine. I never got any sauce with my meal and it was missing one biscuit. so disappointed with this place

Was on the way to visit a friend and saw that there was a Krispy Krunchy Chicken on the way. I decided to pick something up to bring over plus I've always wanted to try this chain. I grew up in the neighborhood so the area doesn't bother me. Parking is the super save market lot and not a problem. Location is in the super save market which is more convenient than a gas station to me. Was there kinda of late so they ran out of a lot of sides. I ordered a 12 piece mixed and honey buns. Had to wait 10mins as he needed to fry it. Again no problem as i can wander around the market. The cashier was friendly, polite, and happy to help. The smell of fried chicken in the air was great lol. When i was able to eat my order i was sad about how long i took to try this place out. They are really good. Crisp on the outside juicy insides. Even the breast was the same way!!!!! Honey buns were yummy as well. I will definitely return to try other things.

The 'biscuit' is basically yellow cake mix but the chicken is super good. The location is dicey but its right on the T line.

We found bb.q Chicken on Doordash and figured we should try it out after seeing great reviews from…read moretheir other location. Location: This one's not a traditional restaurant spot, it's part of a ghost kitchen for food delivery services. It's located in a cul de sac in Bayview (industrial area). There's some parking spots which free up relatively quickly as delivery drivers pop in and out. Interior: Spacious entryway and well lit because of the large windows. 1 table with 2 chairs. They have tablets if you'd like to order from other restaurants. Head to your right where theres counter window to check in with staff for your order. They have food lockers off to the left and will give you a # to open up and pick up your well packed food (and sealed) items. Food: about $20 for 8pc, which is relatively pricey but the chicken wings and boneless wings are freshly made to order and crispy, not drenched in sauces and so flavorful! We ordered (for pick up): 1. Rose tteokbokki: delicious flavor, like a cheesy buldak ramen. Tteok (rice cake) was cooked perfectly, no soggy and have a nice chewy and cheesy bite. Had a pleasant hint of spicy (cheese helped cut the spicy). 2. Cheesy Fried Chicken Wings: I like the powder cheese and sweet bite. Not everyone's cup of tea but I really liked it. Moist and crispy. 3. Honey Garlic Fried Chicken Wings: Seemed to the most popular or recommended item from other yelp reviews from the San Bruno location so we had to try it out. If you lime garlic, this one's for you. Crispy and coated with pungent garlic. Definitely will need a mint after this one. 4. Gangman Style Boneless Wings: black pepper heavy on the flavor and it was my family's favorite. Overall, I thought everything was well packed, great flavors and relatively easy to pick up right off the 101 freeway.

Let me cut to the chase. I was kinda disappointed with this casual rotisserie chicken shop even…read morethough it comes from the team that owns Limon. In fact, I was quite forlorn having presumed this location of Limon was permanently closed. I liked the way they prepared their pollo à la brasa because the Peruvian-style chicken was consistently succulent. I'm guessing maintaining the quality and profitability of a sit-down restaurant has been economically challenging since this was not the only Limon that has closed. I was encouraged that they kept the space and reinvented it into more of a fast food/takeout operation replete with a cartoon chicken mascot and an animated mural along the northern side of the building. I came by in the middle of a weekday afternoon, so I wasn't ready to eat on the spot. I decided on a takeout order of the $21.95 Half Chicken Pollo à la Brasa with two sides. I think I overdid the starches and went with the Plantains and Yuca Fries. I only noticed afterward that I could've gotten salad or cole slaw instead. When I got home and started to eat, I was immediately disappointed that the chicken tasted overcooked with the breast piece particularly dry. That was too bad because the skin from the rotisserie had the familiar flavorful seasonings. The plantains were tasty albeit a bit oily, while I had to nuke the lukewarm yuca fries to bring them back to life (Photo 9). Next time, I'll time my arrival closer to lunch or dinner, so I can dine in-house. My hope is that the chicken will be closer to the quality level I recall from Limon. FOOD - 3 stars...sadly overcooked when I ate it at home AMBIANCE - 4 stars...the space itself is fine, much more casual SEEVICE - 3.5 stars...the staff was nice enough TOTAL - 3 stars...fast food version of Limon not quite there yet RELATED - Exploring the Mission? No grand façade, no unnecessary pretension. But the moment you step inside, you are transported into a deeply Peruvian atmosphere. The space is filled with character. The walls are adorned with paintings and artwork that evoke the magic of Peru; vibrant Andean landscapes, cultural scenes, bold colors that tell stories of heritage and pride. It is not merely decoration; it is cultural storytelling. It is identity framed on every wall. And then there is Fabiana, the server. Her service and attention are truly exceptional.
