Good drinks, tasty food, great service, and a spacious, open space. This is a great venue for casual and semi-private / private events! Tonight, I was at Out the Road for a staff appreciation event my daughter's school was hosting. The venue provided a nice mix of foods (pizza, chicken nuggets, fried mushroom and cauliflower fritters, kale salad, etc). I enjoyed my Sauvignon Blancs and liked their drink ticket system - our party planner gave each attendee 2 drink tickets to use at the bar. The bartenders/staff were very friendly, warm, and welcoming! Deb was especially lovely. The space is spacious, with plenty of place for folks to mingle standing up, as well as sit down. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning! (In fact, parents from our school will be heading here this Saturday night after an event at school!)

I think there's even a karaoke night, to boot. though I still miss the Last Stop, Recovery Room has nicely filled in its absence and continues to be one of my favorite bars in this part (Excelsior District) of town.

I saw several food orders come out to other customers, and everything looked amazing. The portions were very generous for the price. I also noticed they offer brunch, which is definitely something I'll have to come back and try with my girls. The service was really good, with a friendly and welcoming staff that made the experience even better. Another great feature is the back area, which looks perfect for hosting a get-together or small gathering. I loved the vibe of the bar, and the overall atmosphere was warm, inviting, and fun. One of the new friends and fellow Yelpers knew the bartender, Lisa, so we all enjoyed a few more beers and cocktails to round out the night. Lisa was a great host and didn't rush us out as we stayed until a little after closing. I was also able to get a game of pool in with one of the regulars as well. Now that I've joined a billiards league, I will be back often for a beer and to work on my game!

The lady behind the bar seemed to be a one-woman operation. She offered samples of the two beers I was between when I couldn't decide. She was helpful and friendly. There is a $15 minimum if you want to pay with card. Our beers were $9 each. They have a couple of one-off bathrooms which are clean. I saw signs that said they offer trivia on certain nights and they also have darts. This seems like a good, community place.
