I think there's even a karaoke night, to boot. though I still miss the Last Stop, Recovery Room has nicely filled in its absence and continues to be one of my favorite bars in this part (Excelsior District) of town.

I saw several food orders come out to other customers, and everything looked amazing. The portions were very generous for the price. I also noticed they offer brunch, which is definitely something I'll have to come back and try with my girls. The service was really good, with a friendly and welcoming staff that made the experience even better. Another great feature is the back area, which looks perfect for hosting a get-together or small gathering. I loved the vibe of the bar, and the overall atmosphere was warm, inviting, and fun. I'll definitely be back!

We were able to get a table next to the bar and immediately were served our fav Champagne (Mums). I ordered Lasagne w/ salad and this is a specialty that is not served often. I was overjoyed and wolfed this meal down in no time. So good I was in Seventh Heaven. Friend had the beef sandwich with mashed potatoes on a slice of thick bread smothered in thick brown gravy. Delicious! Our server, Cameron, was so accommodating even though the place was packed Great food,! Great service! (Photo included)

I walk past it frequently and noticed the pool table so I've been meaning to practice my skills. It was busy but not crowded, very casual, and had a nice laid back ambiance. People were chill and they kept bartenders very occupied, but they were friendly and the bartenders were calmly keeping up with the orders. My only complaint is that one of the billiard balls was missing. Other than that, I think this is going to be my go-to spot to relax after a long week or my hideout when I don't have a busy weekend.

It's been in the same location since Prohibition was repealed, and the history of the bar is described in meticulous detail on the pub's website. This is definitely no trendy pick-up joint for Gen Z drop-ins. As you might expect, they have a robust calendar of events encompassing bingo, trivia, live music, and dance parties. However, more important to me, they make a half-dozen specialty cocktails and a half-dozen Bloody Mary variations. I've enjoyed the $10 Palomarg, a refreshing hybrid of a Paloma and a Margarita (photo: https://yelp.to/5c0lWhLmBb), and the $10 Madonna Inn, a bright mix of rum, Campari, ginger beer, and orange bitters (photo: https://yelp.to/zWpjXVZ3t6). They don't know my name, but they're always glad I came.
