Tender meal with missing tender and sauce

I ordered through my work catering service, and ordered the three tender combo that was supposed to come with the three tenders, fries, coleslaw, sauce, and drink. I only received two tenders, the coleslaw, and drink. I didn't receive the sauce as advertised and am also completely missing a tender. I paid extra additional to get three tenders instead of just two. So I basically got scammed because I am missing two items, one tender and the sauce.

    The most satisfying meal ever!

I'm am so happy that the owners of Limon did not change a thing of their pollo la brasa. This is honestly the best chicken in the world.! Great ambience and music.

Whole Pollo a la Brasa w/ arroz chaufa + yuca fries ($34.95), Chicken Tender ($5.95 each), Brasa Bliss Sauce ($2.50)

For months, Brasa Bros has been going hella hard on promoting and hyping the opening of their new shop. After all the teasing like the self-proclaimed "Carrie Bradshaw of San Francisco", today is the day! The owners (three brothers) of Limón have rebranded their SVN location into a fast-casual chicken shop. Open for takeout, indoor dining, and outdoor dining. M E N U Specialty: Pollo a la brasa - Peruvian rotisserie chicken. They also have salads, chicken tenders, loaded fries, and sides. Sauces available by the jar for purchase. Beer and sangria available. FYI, their $1 tender combo deal is from 5 pm - 7 pm today only. You have to take a selfie with their chicken mascot, post it on IG, and you'll receive a voucher. Visited for a late lunch. F O O D * Whole Pollo A la Brasa w/ choice of two sides ($34.95) Marinated with aromatic herbs and spices, the chicken is cooked over an open flame. The skin is slightly crispy and the meat is juicy except the breast that's dry. Not too salty which I appreciate. If you've had Limón's signature rotisserie chicken, it's the same thing. Served with a side of their creamy, tangy ají amarillo sauce. For sides, we choose their savory arroz chaufa (fried rice) and crunchy yuca fries. Wished they had tacu tacu (pan-fried rice and beans) on the menu. * Side: Two Chicken Tenders ($5.95 x2) - Brasa Bliss Sauce ($2.50) Hot and crunchy with a flaky crumb batter. Compared to the pollo a la brasa breast, the tender was moist. The brasa bliss sauce was delicious, low-key reminds me of a creamy honey mustard. But, $5.95 per a tender with no sauce included is steep! S E R V I C E Friendly and prompt (order at the counter or two kiosks). No line since we visited at off peak hours. A M B I A N C E Bright and eye-catching, you can't miss the storefront when driving through SVN. About a dozen tables inside with 4 sidewalk tables. P A R K I N G Difficult street parking. Overall, solid pollo a la brasa and a good option for those who eat at weird hours since they're open all day!

    Chaufa Crunch
    Jed O.

5/5 - chaufa crunch was a very filling loaded fries bowl with tender chicken, fried rice, and fries. I was very impressed with how juicy the tenders were and the sauce was not overpowering. Proportions were well prepared. Highly recommend as a first dish introduction to this restaurant! Service was also very fast and you can choose different sauces if you ask. Relatively good seating availability and a fun place to grab lunch or dinner!

    MONSTRITO

Would go back when in SF! They had fast service and clean bathrooms. I ordered the MONSTRITO. Which is your choice of 1/4 white or dark meat, fried rice and fries. It also comes with a side of Ají Amarillo which is not spicy and a nice flavor to it. The chicken was good! Fries were amazing! I will be sure to bring my Peruvian relatives here!

    $1 combo (grand opening)

I wish I took a picture of the combo but it was so chaotic on the opening night & it was totally worth it. I waited about an hour during opening night for their $1 combo of fried chicken + fries. As a new establishment, I thought they were very organized in the way they handled the long line & wait. By the time we got to the counter, we were immediately handed food, so they chefs were working quickly. We brought the take out combos home & gave it a try. The fried chicken was very crispy and juicy and the fries were delicious, in my opinion. The fries were like thick cut steak fries that most were crunchy on outside and soft on the inside but there were definitely ones that weren't crispy (which I like). The sauce that was given to us tasted very similar to chick fila and I'm so glad there is a place nearby now. I thought about getting a bucket and definitely will have to try it the next time I venture to brasa bros!

Fried rice that tasted and smelled like cleaning chemicals!!!!!!!!
    king d.

The rotisserie chicken was dry, I ordered a whole chicken and they only gave me 3/4!! Then I had the fried rice and I tried it before giving it to my daughter and it tasted and smelled like cleaning chemicals!!! My lady tried it a little bit and she said it tasted like fabuloso!!! Even my mom said it smelled like chemicals! This place needs an inspection! That's negligence that could harm people!!!

Fist time today trying this place. Let me say. The food quality is phenomenal. Beautiful quick service restaurant, everything is made to order and delicious. I had the Chicken Tender Combo, tables around me had unbelievable rotissary whole chicken to die for. What was most impressive was the warm genuine smiles and care coming from the cashier, manager and I even got to meet the Chef. As I wanted to compliment him. I'll be back lots and highly recommend

Like the new casual dine in concept versus the former Limon. Love Limon But loving a renewed focus on chicken items as a lot of times, people go to a Limon just for the chicken so this was definitely a positive change. The rotisserie chicken is really good. Flavorful and juicy. Crispy on the wings and skin. The sauces are a must have, get all 3. Wishes the sweet potato fries could be crispy...they didn't have bite...service is 1000%. The ladies checked on us consistently. The arroz chaufa sooooo good. Def coming back...

New roasted chicken spot - fast casual. I thought the chicken itself was cooked very well - tender and flavorful. The sauce they had was tasty as well. I would like to come back and try other menu items!

The food was so awesome. One of the best chicken spots I actually have tasted. I don't think I could ever eat rotisserie chicken the same, the sauce, the juicy chicken completes it all. The rice was perfect and fries finished it off well. The service was great, we got it for here but got takeout bags instead which was ok because we ended up taking it home. Ambiance was pretty chill wasn't anything too fancy more of a takeout or eat in fast food type of vibe. Definitely would recommend!

I went on opening day but before they had their special. I'm Peruvian so wanted to try the chicken and it was delicious. The ajis were good flavor but not spicy maybe the green one a little. Unfortunately I've had better arroz chaufa but they my opinion. Plátanos were good. Both fries were good. So was chicha. There are seats inside and outside as well. Very clean and nice. Parking is hard. The cashier was helpful since it was first time visiting. Definitely going back

Large, meaty shrimp, good portion of noodles and vegetables, and creamy pasta sauce. I also got the chips, guac, and salsa. Honestly didn't care for the guac too much - was kind of flavorless. But it was some of the best salsa I've ever had. If I was far away I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to come back here. Mostly because there's so many other great options in the bay area. It was my first time ever having beef heart on a skewer; I'd rate it as okay, keeping in mind I don't have another reference point, but it was a bit tough in my opinion. There was a bit of a lull between our drinks and actually ordering, which stalled the momentum, but it did remind me of the importance of being in the moment and not feeling hurried to dine and leave. Overall, it actually made for a good experience. The drinks were great, there was excellent latin music selection and the floor to ceiling windows make for great people-watching!

We were promptly seated on a Saturday night dinner around 6:15PM even though they were booked online until 7:45. Service was pretty quick and friendly, but you could tell they were trying to push us on selling drinks/appetizers. I felt like the service staff's mood might've changed a little after we were fine with only water (shocker I know, we usually don't order $17 cocktails...). Other appetizer menu items were similar in pricing if not more expensive than entrees themselves. I ordered an Arroz con Mariscos and a Pollo a la Brasa, and was pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes given the upscale restaurant vibe. I was expecting a lot less food, but turns out they gave regular portions, and boy were they GOOD. The paella is a standard paella, and it was very flavorful. Although it came with only a couple shrimp and other seafoods, the portion was still fulfilling for 1 person. To be fair, it's not really portioned to share unless you order a ton of other dishes. The half chicken was one of the best chickens I've had. The seasoning on the skin and the crispiness from the oven perfectly compliments each other, and my mouth is watering as I'm typing this. It's pretty savory, and the flavors soak through into the breast, so you know it's been marinating for a while. The fries reminded me of McDonald's fries cuts, and the salad was sweet and sour. An appetizer wasn't necessary for us, but if you're hungry, then definitely consider ordering one. The vibe was very cozy, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that since we ordered only 2 dishes, the service team kinda rushed us after ~45min of sitting and dining. To be fair, other tables had at least one cocktail per person, but at close to $20 per drink, we could not justify the price. A solid 4 stars!

There is a nice selection off the main menu for Happy Hour 4-6pm. Providing an opportunity to sample one or more of the menu items as an appetizer. I chose the mussels with garlic bread, as good ones are not found easily. The portion was quite ample, and the sauce I dipped my nice crunchy garlic bread in was very flavorful, warm and delicious. I also tried the plantains which were cooked perfectly; not too mushy with a perfect char, and the sweet onions on top were also tasty. Paired with a very tangy dipping sauce. All the flavors came together well. My husband ordered the Cantina burger which he enjoyed down to the last bite. Our daughter also sampled off the smaller menu with Lomo Empanadas and the Chicharron de Pollo which she reported were both very nicely prepared. Will, our server gave us excellent recommendations which we availed ourselves of. The bill for 4 items plus the burger, a side of rice, and a ginger beer came to just under seventy dollars, which was a reasonable price. I would definitely give the food five stars, and the restaurant four as it's a long and lengthy bar with a few tables for two. The majority of the seating is in the back with two flat screens and an open kitchen. I can imagine how loud this place can get. We went at the perfect time: not a lot of customers so we received excellent individualized service from Will. I would hope to be able to return next time we visit GG Park and sample some more menu items like the Peruvian Paella which sounded very promising.

Offering a rich array of traditional Peruvian dishes, Mi Lindo Peru is a celebrated restaurant known for its vibrant flavours and generous portions. The establishment has become a favourite of go-to spots among locals and visitors alike for an authentic taste of Peru in San Francisco. Located in Bernal Heights, parking can be challenging in this bustling area. Luckily, we arrived around 6:30 PM, so I was able to find a space across the street, less than a block away. Truth be told, though - I did drive around the neighbourhood about 1.5 times before scoring a spot. The brightly lit dining room's ambiance is casual, unfussy and welcoming. Only one table was occupied and no other customers arrived to dine in during our visit. We sat at the half booth table at the very front, adjacent to the entrance. On this evening, the spacious venue was clean; however, a small stack of empty white plastic buckets at the foyer floor stuck out to me like an eye sore. Along with our menus, we were served a complimentary basket of two slices of soft, white bread, a ramekin each of a single ball of soft butter and a non-spicy red salsa. Below are what we ordered: Chicha Morada (Glass, $4.95) - Ana ordered this beverage for me, insisting that I try a Peruvian drink. She described this sweet purple corn juice as a Peruvian Kool-Aid. Her description was pretty spot on. Just a bit too sweet for me, but nonetheless refreshing. Aji de Gallina ($22.95) - I have always been curious about this classic Peruvian creamy stew, so was stoked that Smitty said that she was ordering it. YUM!! I need to order this next time! Lomo a lo Pobre ($28.95) - "A lo pobre" translates to "poor man's style" in Spanish and refers to the simple addition of a fried egg, fried plantains and/or rice and french fries to traditional Peruvian dishes to add another level of tastiness. I'm a big fan of Lomo Saltado, but jumped on this option with the added plaintain and perfectly fried egg. I was conservative and had the egg yolk ooze over the white rice (I could tell that the rice was steaming hot because the yolk began to cook once I sat the egg atop it). I immediately regretted that move, kicking myself for missing out on exploring the added flavour from breaking the egg over the meat, veggies and french fries medley. Next time, for sure! Despite the slight tough texture of the lean strips of meat, my meal was still delicious and enjoyable. Service was friendly and fast. I was taken aback when the check was delivered sans asking us if we were interested in dessert, though,...especially because I was so looking forward to a sweet finale with Alfajores. We inquired, but, sadly, they were out of the dulce de leche cookies due to their popularity during Valentine's Day weekend. The cookie monster in me was SUPER bummed. I initially thought that they had no inventory of postres (dessert) since they didn't offer any at first, but turned out that they did, indeed, still had offerings. We decided to pass on the sweet course. So delighted I was to be introduced to Mi Lindo Peru by mi querida amiga. I would happily return to continue the delectable culinary journey here that highlights the essence of Peru.
