We used to go to the old location all the time w no issues. Tonight we went w a party of 9, stood waiting for someone to help us for a good 5-7 mins before someone asked how many we were even though there were several girls walking around. We sat down and ordered food but our waitress didn't ask us for our drink order. Our pizza came and we had to ask her to take our drink order. When the bill came we had to flag the waitress down to take the credit cards. When she came back with the bills to sign the bill was $20 higher. We asked where the other $20 came from and she said she was going to check. Apparently the first bill didn't have an appetizer and our drinks on it. Then we asked for a plastic bag, she said ok but then instead of getting it just started chatting with someone. Since the location change the service has been crappy all around. read more

After giving Krispy's Grandma pie a great review about 10 months ago I must ask if anyone else has noticed a decline in quality recently? We have been weekly customers and never had a bad experience until after Thanksgiving. Once we ate in the restaurant and ordered a Grandma and a regular pie for 6 people, the place was freezing resulting in all of us wearing our heavy jackets during dinner. On top of that the waitress bought our regular pie over hot and fresh while the Grandma must've been left sitting out and it wasn't even lukewarm. This was mid afternoon on a Saturday and the place had 3 other tables seated. And everyone at the other tables were bundled up also. I picked up on another occasion and was told 30 minutes. I got there a little early as I like my pizza hot and was given a pie that was already out of the oven. Needless to say it was barely warm and dried out from sitting out on top of the oven. Tonight I ordered 2 Grandma pies and bail on the side for 1 of them. When I arrived at Krispy I observed one of the guys feverishly picking basil off of a pie that was given to me. the meatball parm was good. the chicken parm was great. i go here for my jalapeno poppers because our usual go to spot stopped selling them. they are delicious. not that i care or that it mattered because it still was delicious - this time i got them - 2 or 3 of them had white cheese and the rest had cheddar. anyways.....back to the whole point of my review and the 3 stars. i don't know what they do to their sauce (or what they put in it) but honestly the best way i can describe it is that the taste and smell of the tomato sauce is throw up. its almost unedible. i hate to say such a thing about a place because i'm all about supporting local businesses and whatnot, but after spending a nice chunk of change on my "big order" as the guys at the counter called it - (i ordered offline and picked up), i refuse to order the same thing from here ever again. i'll still go for my jalapeno poppers but i will definitely re-think any dinner orders because of this. read more

I was on the last night if my trip to NJ/NY and I knew I needed to bring a pie back with me home to California because my boyfriend has never had real pizza. I called the order in pretty late, and said I needed a large sausage and pepperoni half cooked because I was freezing it to take to California. Needless to say I think everyone in the shop thought I was crazy for such a request. I cut the pie into smaller sections (quarters) so it would fit in my luggage (it was huge!), wrapped it up, froze it overnight, and right before my flight stuck it into my luggage. The pizza was still pretty frozen when I got home. The second I got into my house I cranked up the bbq, heated up my pizza stone, and cooked it. It was so, so, so good! The toppings are flavorful and of quality, the sauce is just right, tasting fresh, and the crust is delicious - touch of sweetness, light and the perfect crispness. I now know to ask my family to send me Krispy's, overnight for a Christmas gift. Can't wait to come back and get some more! read more

My wife Doris and I have been loyal Krispy customers for nearly 10 years. The entire staff is friendly, attentive and courteous. We eat there on the majority of Friday nights together and often with family and friends. We live several miles away in Monroe but wouldn't think of going anywhere else. We enjoy the wonderful pizzas with our favorite being half fresh mozzarella and half traditional. There are many other delicious entrees we have ordered over the years and never been disappointed. We have a large family and host all holiday and special gatherings and supplement my wife's cooking with catered trays from Krispy which always elicit positive comments from our guests. We always recommend Krispy to everyone and have never gotten any negative feedback. The owner , Tony, runs a tight ship with his staff which contributes to its success. We see and know more regulars there than any place we ever been to in the 30 years we live here. Added note , it's BYOB so we enjoy cold beers with our delicious meals. Used to think the food was great until we found a large metal wire in the middle of my pasta. I could have injured my mouth, throat or even punctured a lung. This place is a bit of a ride from my house and I swear I must pass over a hundred pizzeria's on the way. So when I came here off of a recommendation I was a bit skeptical. Well in 2 words, THEY ROCK!!! The grandma and vodka pizza are probably the best I've ever had. So much to the point that I haven't ordered anything else from the menu since. Everyone I take there also seems to fall in love they actually venture through other items on the menu while I stick with my favorites.
