We were greeted by a friendly server The menu was diverse, and all the dishes seemed well curated. They serve local coffee! I had the generously portioned sweet potato and scrambled egg bowl. My husband ordered corned beef eggs Benedict with home fries. It was unfortunate that his home fries were cold and rather dried up. The server offered to bring out fresh home fries. then the front of the house manager brought our bill and discounted the tab greatly. He was very apologetic. We definitely would go back based on this customer service. Worth mentioning, there is a side entrance that is handicap accessible (the main entrance on Centre Street has steps leading up to it). But if one wanted to go to the bakery counter from that entrance, there are a few steps to get to that level.

The brisket was cooked to perfection and was so tasty no need for sauce or anything. Sourdough was perfect for the bread choice, not the typical choice for a breakfast sandwich but they nailed it! Even better though, even my wife agreed was my dish. Think of a waffle made of potatoes with bacon, green onions, cheese topped with the most delicious sausage gravy and two eggs on the side. A perfect breakfast meal, and that sausage gravy was incredible with such a depth of flavor and bigger pieces of sausage than you usually get at many places. My wife went with the Falcon Pride (chocolate & white chocolate latte) and I went with the Vanilla Bean Dream (white chocolate & vanilla). Drink wise they were both pretty good! They're not cheap... $13.49 for their jumbo pancake + $2.99 if you add blueberries, and who wouldn't? You also get a side of your choice of breakfast meat. On this trip I wasn't alone, so my friend & I split 1 pancake & the 3 pieces of crispy bacon that came with. The cook was kind enough to actually split the batter to make us each our own cake. Yes, the photo below is actually 1/2 of what you normally get. We still couldn't finish it! Our server, Sam, was terrific. What a wonderful personality! He was so much fun. The coffee is decent & there's plenty of parking in their lot. Great stop if you're traversing Route 1 in Maine.
