Had such an overall great experience the other weekend! Came here on a sunny Saturday afternoon and had about a 30 min wait; I asked if we could be seated outside if possible and they made it work. Our waiter, Troy, was so friendly and helpful. He gave the best meal recommendations and descriptions!! We shared the fried mozz as our app and it was delicious, loved the pesto! I got the chicken sandwich which was very flavorful and had great texture with the crispy green beans. Following a tip from Troy to keep things mess-free, I got it in a brioche bun instead of Texas toast and requested it cut in half. Finally went back to Kruegers tavern since it reopened and enjoyed myself. It was a gorgeous day outside so we sat outside to enjoy our meal before going to the FCC game. Our server was kind and attentive and gave great service. I ordered the blue gruyere burger with fries and though it took a long time for our food to come out (due to the FCC rush of people), it was hot, filling, and delightful. My boyfriend got a chicken club with Mac n cheese and I must say I took more than a few bites because MAN OH MAN the Mac n cheese is to die for! 10/10 recommend trying it! I had also ordered a glass of orange wine because I was very curious and had never heard of such a thing before. It was good, but not something I would go out of my way to seek out. One of the servers informed me it's similar to white wine except the grapes are fermented longer hence the color. Was nice to try though! I will say the bill was pricier than I remembered it being in the past so be ready to drop some money if you plan on drinking with your meal! All in all it was a good experience! read more

First time to Krueger's Tavern and it did not disappoint. The Mac n cheese was my favorite dish. It was creamy and had a nice crisp top. The beer cheese was another great dish. I will say the ration is a little off with the amount of pretzels, but you can order more for $3. So happy it's back and in a GIANT new space. Fantastic service and equally fantastic food. Honestly, I missed this place so much! We had a quick dinner before heading to a show at Ghost Baby mid-week. They have a solid beer list, but the cocktails - oh my. I had the "Sage Advice" and it was full of unique flavor and so tasty, I ordered a second. I rarely do that, so it must be good. Not too sweet - but full of flavor. My husband and I split Krueger's burger. I thought about trying the Spicy Burger, but after sampling the spicy slaw that it came with (on top) I'm glad I didn't. It's not for the mild or even the adventurous. It's for someone that orders their Thai Food Thai Hot 10. As for drinks, one of our friends had a Tangerine Spritz and enjoyed it. It's a bit sweet for my taste, but I know that some people enjoy their cocktails on the sweeter side so this might be a good option. Can't wait to get back. When we walked in, someone warned us it was a 2 hour wait! (on a Tuesday night). So glad we made a reservation in advance. read more

We really enjoyed our meal at Krueger's! The service was top notch. We started with the truffle chips and the charred veggie crudités. The truffle chips were so good, and came with a generous portion. I would definitely order them again! However, I would not recommend the veggie crudités. It was just confusing to have charred veggies served cold, and it was also disappointing that the largest portion of veggies was some incredibly bitter endive. We did still eat all but the endive, but wouldn't order again. For our mains we ordered the Italian pork sandwich and the bleu gruyere burger with a side of Mac n cheese to share. Both sandwiches were delicious! The Italian pork was piled high with shredded pork shoulder and the hot peppers added a much needed punch of acidity. The burger had an amazing onion jam and the bleu cheese was very prominent. We suspect the mac n cheese may be made with their beer cheese perhaps? Either way, it was so delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly tender, and there was a nice crisp cheesy crust on top. Everything was priced very reasonably as well. Our only other complaint is just that the tables are so close together. It was impossible not to hear the conversations on either side of us or feel like others were listening to our conversation. It is a small place, so I understand maximizing seating but it would be nice to spread the tables out a bit more. Overall, we would definitely return! There are other menu items we were intrigued to try. Definitely recommend! read more

My boyfriend and I were out and about looking to kill some time, so we stopped in here for some drinks and apps. I think this place's best quality is its rooftop bar. Sadly, it was too cold during our visit to get to experience it. But a definite for next time! It's a really cute, modern burger joint and a nice place to chill. The service is friendly and speedy quick here, too. They have plenty on their drink menu. I also like how it tells you where it's from, and there are a lot of Cincy-made options. Even though I haven't tried their burgers, it seems like that's what you come here for. We ended up getting the hot beer cheese with pretzels, and it was really great!
