When you get in you stand in line and then directed to a register where you pay and then directed to the window where you pick up your food. The man at the register tried REALLY hard to get us to buy a souvenir cup because there are no refills but really do you need all that sugary soda/drinks. I had my water bottle and was well hydrated. We got the Krusty Burger, Chili Cheese Dog, and a mixed fruit cup. The Chili Cheese dog was HUGE. Not many options at Krusty Burger but it also shared space with Moe's Tavern and there were more options there if you didn't like the options at Krusty Burger. It was nice that they had drink machines that had ALOT of choices on what drinks they had available. There are several drink machines up and down so you are able to not have to wait in a long line. There is a chip at the bottom of the paper cups prohibiting you getting a refill but you were able to refill it with water and ice. Although being that there is a chip at the bottom of the paper cups, I wonder what would happen if the soda was out of syrup. The customer service seems unorganized. In line you get sent off to one of several cashiers. From there you'd think you'd still be separated based on your cashier right? Wrong. After you order every single person crowds the counter waiting for their food to come out. It took us probably 10 minutes to get our food and we had to stand within the crowd. Beware if you are allergic to gluten. Sneezing my head off today. I went there because they show gluten free buns options. I ordered the Clogger burger with that. They asked "Is this an allergy or a preference"? I said allergy. The burger was pretty good except the patties were overcooked. I ate only fruit and regular homemade gluten free stuff aside from that, so I know they made a mistake with the buns. Not good. I am knocked down today, ruined my day. They should really pay attention. Thinking about it, their question sound now weird to me. This establishment was the worst food I have ever had in my life. I payed 26$ for a krusty burger and a duffs beer, which is outrages to begin with. Being a fan of the Simpsons the dream is to get a double krusty burger! Within Springfield there are loads of things to see and a few places to eat but getting a meal here was just as long as queueing for a ride! But it was worth it! So just incase you wanna know what the queueing system is like you first are in a single line which then takes you to six tills then they take your order you pay then if you have soda they give you a cup and if you purchase a refill cup they will hand one over to you and if you got a milkshake you get that in the next area! So you get given a number and a letter of where you next needs to queue but it's pretty busy and lacks space! I was happy I got a milkshake as to try to juggle queuing for a drink and getting your tray of food is pretty crazy! So once I got my tray mangled my way through everyone that was waiting for heir food I pick up my condiments but forgot my fork for my coleslaw and went upstairs where staff helped me find a seat! The interior is amazing there is plenty to keep kids entertained and Simpsons are playing in the background! I gotta admit the burger was too big for me but it was worth every penny! read more

This place is not good at all. I asked for no pickles they told me I have to removed them myself. Hahaha! So imagine someone who is allergic to pickles or tomatoes will technically get an allergic reaction since the buns and meat will touch. Second there is no such thing as customer service here. They never smile the employees are always talking amongst themselves and they are rude. Last thing, this place is DIRTY!! All the tables are dirty. Shady cashier trying to take advantage of tourists, poor operations, dirty stairs, and the best counter service burger I've had at a theme park. I have eaten here twice: once around when it first opened and once again today (July 3rd). Even with the holiday weekend crowds, the line moves fast and food seemed to be coming out quickly. The cashier who helped me was upselling very hard. Unlike the other cashiers who suggested a dessert or other item, this guy tried just about everything to get me to spend more money. First, he asked if I wanted to add bacon to my Ribwich (I declined). I ask for it without pickles which he says he can't do. Surprised that they were unwilling to take something off, but they'll add bacon for a fee. I ask to substitute fruit for fries which I am able to do. Then he asked if I wanted a drink. I ordered a soda and the guy suggests I get the souvenir bottle for "just a few dollars more". The price difference is a little over $7. I declined the souvenir bottle so the guy rings me up for a large soda even though I had never indicated what size I wanted. He turns the cup over and peels something off from the bottom and flicks it away. Whatever he peeled off hits another guest so he has to apologize. I later find out that the cups have a RFID chip at the bottom needed to active the Coke Freestyle machines. I suspect he peeled off my chip. Not sure what I did to upset him; maybe he didn't like that I didn't get the souvenir bottle. So after I order and pay, I go and wait for my food. Of course mine takes forever and my friends are seated and eating by the time I get my food. Can't blame the cashier for this one. This happened to me the first time I ate here too. Whenever you order fruit instead of fries you have to wait for them to make your order. They won't just take one that has already been made and swap out the side. On the bright side, at least your meal will be a little fresher. So after awhile I get my food and go join my group upstairs. The stairs are kind of dirty, but the rest of the restaurant is clean and there are plenty of workers around to keep things clean. I try my cup at multiple machines and it doesn't work at any of them since I don't have the RFID chip. I have to go back downstairs and I end up getting a drink filled at the counter. Unfortunately, the counter is a regular soda fountain so I can't get some of the drinks I could have gotten from the Coke Freestyle machines. The guy helping me is friendly and explains the RFID chip and sensor. I had already put ice in the cup so I didn't get a chance to turn the cup over and see that my chip had been peeled off until after I finished my drink. I actually got mad enough to walk back to try and get the cashier's name, but he was behind the register and I couldn't see his name tag. So after 3 paragraphs of complaints, here is the good news: I really like the food. The burger (which I had last time) is cooked so there is a little pink left in the meat which makes it a little tastier than other counter service burgers. I hope they keep this up, although I did see someone complaining about it and the staff having to ask the kitchen to custom order a well done burger. I think situations like that could be avoided with a little warning on the menu that if you aren't comfortable with a pink burger you should request your burger well done. Although I guess they want to minimize special orders so that they can keep wait times short. Which brings me to my Ribwich. I enjoyed it a lot and would consider getting it again over the Krustyburger, although I think the chili dog is calling too. However, since the Ribwich is messier than the burger, it was a pain to take it apart and remove the pickles. It is similar to pulled pork and topped with coleslaw. So imagine digging through all that trying to find the pickles. If every other burger place in the world can make a burger without pickles, I don't see why they can't, especially if I'm going to have to wait extra long for my food anyways since they have to make one without fries as a side. Funny enough, a woman at the table next to us asked her husband and son (who had gone downstairs to get food for the family) why they had bought souvenir bottles. They said it was "only a few dollars more". I knew who helped them out. So despite all the negatives, I would probably give them another shot in the future since I do think they have some of the best food at Universal. Just be careful of that one cashier. read more

Awful Awful Awful! For $58.00 I got 2 Burgers & 2Chili Dogs, & 2 sodas, which at Universal is to be expected, but when I am paying that much I expect the food to be edible. The first Burger I got was burnt to a crisp & cold, as well as the fries. I took that one back and got a " fresh" one, it was just as burned as the first, but a little warmer. I gagged a little over half of it down because I was hungry, but left the other half. Well The two of us that had a burger also got a nice case of Diarrhea that lasted well into the following day, 4 hours after eating the burger I had to leave the park due to stomach cramps, and I got to enjoy the 3 hour drive home cramping all the way. We ordered burgers and fries, drinks are sold separately and cost close to $4 each with no refills. The burgers were good for theme park burgers and the fries were crisp. My husband ordered the garden burger with guacamole and said it was bland. The only flavor was in the guacamole and there wasn't much. There is no close restroom to this little eating spot either.
