OK, everyone, STOP. This is the place to go to. My regular mechanic does not repair/replace transmissions, but Hovik does. I brought my 528i BMW to him when I felt my transmission was not shifting right. I had only read his great reviews on Yelp, but had never met him. Not only does Hovik respond right away to messages on Yelp, he immediately saw me right after the 4th of July holiday. He spent an hour with me, test driving the car, hooking up my car to his computer to let me know to NOT spend any money. There was nothing wrong with my transmission!! People, I am a WOMAN who came in here. You tell me how honest he is. I have a mechanic I have been going to for 10 years, but let me tell you, if my mechanic is unable to assist me, or makes any errors, this is who I am switching to. Ladies, let me tell you this: He's open on Saturdays. AND, he's located across from the Glendale Galleria and the Americana. You drop off the car here, and walk over there and shop for 4 hours. How convenient is that? I cannot say enough for Hovik and KS. I will be sending everyone here, local or not. read more

Brought my car in because it was making a rattling noise and I was concerned there was a problem with the engine. We went for a test drive together, and then Hovik took the time to examine all the possible places the rattle could be coming from. It turns out there was a loose part inside the back bumper by the lock -- no problem with the engine at all! I offered to pay for the half hour all this took, and he wouldn't charge me anything... While I don't look forward to having problems with my car, I look forward to knowing there's a mechanic nearby I can trust. read more

When my Range Rover went out of warranty a few years ago i searched for an auto shop for Range Rovers, KS was the only shop i came across with so many stellar reviews i decided to try it. It certainly lived up to all of the Five Star Reviews! Hovik and Harout are so kind and welcoming and fair when it comes to service, and the quality of work is excellent . These are really honest guys and their staff of mechanics are so knowledgeable ive been impressed. The prices are always less than the dealers and turnaround time is fast. My family was on our way home driving out of LA but our Range Rover decided to lose its air shocks. I called up KS and they were able to get the parts and fix it quickly so we could complete our 5-6 hour drive back to AZ. They made the whole awful situation pleasant and anxiety free! Great service. HERE'S THE DEAL: I'd been taking my Mercedes to CalStar for years & finally stopped because of the terror/anxiety I had whenever they'd call with the repair cost. My car hadn't seen a mechanic in two years, missed several of the scheduled services and was way past the oil change mark. I was at the point of just taking my car to Carmax, convinced that I wouldn't be able to keep it with the cost of "normal" repairs. I went to KS Complete Auto based SOLELY on other yelp reviews. KS saved my Mercedes from the vulture lot. They called after a complete (FREE) inspection with the most reasonable total- a total I wouldn't dream of getting from CalStar-- and they worked with my budget & did the most immediate repairs first leaving a few minor things that can to be taken care of in the coming months. There was no pressure over the phone or in person, my car was finished before noon the next day and totally within my budget. This review is long overdue but better late than never. Back in January of this year, my battery died on my BMW E60. I tried to jump it so I could drive it to a shop but had no luck. I decided to take it out and replace it myself but apparently BMWs have a computer code that needs to be set with a new battery, which is quite pricey at the dealer. I looked on yelp to find a mechanic who had the equipment to set the codes for me once I changed the battery myself. That's when I found and called Harout at KS Complete Auto. He told me not only would he replace my battery for me for not much more than the cost of the battery I was going to buy myself, but that he would swing by my home before going into his shop in the morning and jump my battery with a stronger jumper so that I could drive it straight to his shop, which I happily agreed to. It worked. Within a couple of hours, my BMW was running again at half the cost of what the dealer quoted me for a new battery replacement. He also gave me a list of things I needed to address with my car and told me which was more urgent and which could wait. Unfortunately I moved away for part of the year and had to use someone else for some of those things. And, to be honest, I just now found the quote for new front brake pads that Harout gave me and I can see that it's half of what I paid at another shop. I'm kicking myself. But the good news is, I'm back in town and will be sure to take my BMW back to them when necessary. They are nice, sweet, good people who I believe are honest and take pride in their work and customer relationships. And it shows in all the other positive reviews they've received. KS Auto is fantastic! Hovik is an honest mechanic and a true gentleman! I brought in a car for a pre-purchase inspection with the owner, and even though the car had a spotless carfax report, he found many issues and error codes, one of which required a pretty major fix that unfortunately was a deal-breaker. Hovik was very honest and thorough with me, which made the seller nervous and uneasy, and ended up getting mad and leaving me stranded at the shop!!! Hovic offered to personally drive me back to my car a couple miles away and even offered me a free inspection on my next potential car purchase. A+ service. I came in on Monday with my wife's 2016 Range Rover Sport for some computer issue the car was having and to have the breaks changed. Hovik took me in diagnosed the problem and told me to come back later that day. This is truly a five-star place and now my go-to spot for tune-ups and oil changes. About a year ago I needed a tune-up while in the area and Yelp directed me here. Hovik took care of me and I got a complete tune-up/oil change plus some miscellaneous work that needed to be done. Hovik called me to get approval before doing the other items. They did a lot and at a very good price. I appreciated this so much that the next time I needed an oil change and tune-up I went out of my way to go there again. Again, quality, fast service at very reasonable prices. Yesterday I brought my car in again because I had thought their removal of a nail in a tire had caused my tire pressure to go down in one tire, and my engine warning light to go on. Again Hovik took care of me on the spot. Filled all the tires and handled the check engine light. Even though their prior tune-up/nail removal was not the cause of anything that needed to be done, Hovik did it all free of charge. Very friendly and thanked me for my business even though he didn't charge me for anything! Their shop is a block away from the Americana, so it's nice to take the car in and go to the Americana for a while while the car is serviced. Although Glendale is not near where I live or work, I'll come out of my way for their great service. read more

Hovik responded within minutes with a specific quote, so I immediately took my car over to him. The shop, on a Saturday morning, looked quite busy - and yet Hovik came right over, checked out the car, confirmed the quote, and took the car in for an hour.
