Nova was a pleasant surprise as we had no dinner plans made for our Disneyland vacation…read more Even before checking into our hotel (the Hyatt Regency conveniently located next to Nova), we saw the huge sign on the side of the building advertising their happy hour. We decided to give it a try on our first night. Everything from the staff friendliness to the ambiance to the taste of the food was exceptional! The specialty drinks were delicious, and the happy hour prices were more than reasonable. Everything was so good that we went back for a second happy hour in a row. The second visit was just as enjoyable, so much that we decided to visit on Sunday to check out their all you can eat brunch. The selections were amazing with a few exceptions. Some standouts were the ube pancakes, matcha French toast, Toro tartare toast, and garlic scallop fried rice. Some items on the menu left more to the imagination such as the spicy tuna crispy rice, which had no distinct flavor, and the fried oysters. Outside of those selections, the brunch options were amazing and worth the cost. Shout out to Ryan and Koda for the hospitality, and the bartenders that served us during happy hour. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone visiting Orange County!

The restaurant itself was very cute too and had a good amount of seating. - The drinks were both pretty good and strong, they're not skipping on the alcohol. The lychee spritz was nice and refreshing. 4.5/5 - The pizza was definitely fresh and I love a thin crust. I know margherita pizzas are usually wet but this was almost too wet. Still it was good and will probably be better after crisping in the oven to heat up. 4/5 -The truffle fries were sooooo good! Very crispy which I love and the parm was nice on top. The Calabrian chile sauce was tasty and went well with the fries. 5/5 - the crudo was nice and fresh too, only 5 pieces but they were cut thick so I didn't mind. They had a good sauce 5/5 -The star for most people, the miso carbonara, wasn't my favorite. If you've ever had the instant ramen buldak, it tasted like their carbonara sauce so that threw me off a little bit. Still pretty presentation and good texture on the noodles 2.5/5 -yuzu sobert was very good! the orange slice at the bottom was a nice touch. 5/5 - complimentary chocolate cake! so nice of him to do that, we had a conversation about me visiting from out of state. It was a good chocolate cake too, moist but still rich. not sure what it is in the menu but 5/5 Overall it was still a 5 star experience that was fun and has great drinks + service !

You can tell the quality and intention behind the flavors put into each dish, I am drooling all over again just writing this review! A favorite for every time we go would have to be the beef carpaccio. If you are willing to try it, this would be the place to because they know exactly what they're doing, serving something so yummy! I love the balance of the dressing with the arugula salad and sliced apple in it, for some crunch. Very well balanced appetizer in flavor and textures. Another runner-up would be the truffle funghi pizza. I know it doesn't look like much, but it sure packs a punch! Again, the arugula eases the savory flavor of the pizza and truffle oil. I love the light and thin crust, serves 2 people perfectly. We also decided to try the crab roe spaghetti, a summer special they're offering. The crab flavor throughout the decadent sauce is rich, but in the best way! I couldn't get enough of it. *Also very random, but very considerate is how the bathrooms offer a free mouth wash station. Love how even the smallest detail of taking care of their customers is on their mind! Definitely unique to this restaurant.

It would have earned 4.5 stars because I did not care for the deconstructed Bahn Mi (my son however raved about it) but everything else was excellent so it was an easy round up. Clean modern interior with on point and friendly staff. We were off rush hour so there was parking but it looks to be tight if things are busy The Food Garlic Noddle with Shrimp: So good. Fresh tasty shrimp with a nice slight char on them paired with rich garlicky noodles. Each could have stood on their own but together they were magic broccolini: nicely cooked and the roasted? garlic added a nutty element to them. Just the right amount of chili added a nice heat to it as well Spicy Wontons: I did not taste but looked fantastic and the table loved them. Why did I not get to taste them? I was distracted by the garlic noodles and my family attacked it like a pack of hungry wolves. By the time I circled back to them I was staring at an empty dish lol Beef belly: This ribbon like strips of beef belly severed almost bento style on rice. Surrounded by a tasty and fresh arrangement of toppings that paired perfectly with the beef. The egg had a glorious runny yolk and lets face it yolk soaked rice is one of life's better pleasures This was a great spot highlighting a modern take on Vietnamese fusion cuisine

We ordered the lomo saltado shaken fries and the calamari. The lomo saltado was definitely the highlight! the meat was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The fries had the perfect texture: crispy on the outside and not soggy at all. The sauce tied everything together perfectly, with a great balance of savory and sweet flavors without being overpowering. The calamari was also well-executed. It was crispy, tender, and didn't have any fishy taste, which I really appreciated. Another plus is that the portions here are huge, making it great for sharing with family and friends. There's plenty of seating, and the lively atmosphere makes this a perfect spot for a casual meal, family gathering, or a night out with friends. The finger foods was Asian‑inspired, with flavors like black sesame, curry, and other creative twists that made each bite feel unique. Every piece was thoughtfully made, rich, and decadent without feeling repetitive, and the presentation was beautiful across the board. It definitely felt like a more elevated, modern take on afternoon tea. The tea itself, however, fell a bit short for me. I ordered a non‑caffeinated chrysanthemum tea, which unfortunately didn't have much depth or flavor. My friend's Darjeeling was better, but still not as rich or complex as I've had elsewhere. Given how strong the Asian inspiration is in the food, it would've been nice to see more thoughtful decaf tea options in that same direction, like decaf sencha, barley tea, or kuromamecha, to better match the concept. Price: The afternoon tea service is prix fixe at around $45 per person, which includes a curated set of savory bites, desserts, and a pot of tea. For the quality and creativity of the food, the price feels pretty reasonable compared to other OC tea services, though the tea itself didn't quite meet the same level as the food. Ambiance: The space is bright, warm, and inviting, with a nice amount of natural sunlight coming in that makes it feel cozy rather than stuffy. There are subtle Asian design elements woven into the décor, giving it a modern, slightly upscale feel without being overly formal. It's a great spot to catch up with friends and linger over tea. Service: Service was good, friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. Even during a busy service, staff remained kind and approachable, which added to the overall relaxed vibe. Parking: Parking can take a bit of effort. Since it's located on a busy street in Orange, you may need to circle around the roundabout or park a little farther away and walk over. Not impossible, but definitely something to plan for, especially on weekends.
