The food is okay. The men's restroom urinals are horrific. Dark yellow stains and the odor is repulsive. The waiters must be under paid which explains why they lack initiatives. I had to ask for a glass when I bought water bottle. Look at your bills carefully. They add automatic 15% gratuity which I feel they did not earn. Also, They cheat on our bill by charging us for an extra drink. When confronted, the waiter is unapologetic and he made me feel like I am bothering him. So: 1- clean the urinals 2-anticipate your customers' needs 3-work to earn your gratuity 4-don't cheat your customers by sneaking in additional charges. This restaurant and bar was located in a Ramada Inn. They have selected parking lots reserved for them. I heard it was owned by a famous Viet celebrity and some people were raving about their evening parties and karaoke along with some food entrees. We decided to give it a try but stopped in during daytime slightly after they just opened for the day. They had menus posted up in front for you to view before walking in. We're greeted and rated quickly. We ordered caramelized pork in fish sauce with boiled vegetables, bitter melon and snakehead soup, com nieu and crispy calamari. I also ordered a peach iced tea. The caramelized pork in fish sauce was more a bit in salty side but the boiled veggies helped balanced that out along with the com nieu (crispy rice) in a special mini hot pot. The bitter melon soup had some meatballs and the taste was good. The crispy calamari were indeed crispy but light enough and was delicious. It came with pickles veggies on the same plate which was also a good combo in flavors. Service was fast and friendly. I would definitely would come back to try other items from the menu. read more

Very disappointed! I was told by a staff that the live music would start at 8PM. I was on time, but found out it started at 9PM. When the MC came, he recognized my friend who used to be his boss. He seemed arrogant (for no reason at all). I went up to register for singing because we four wanted to go home early. More than an hour passed, & my name was called. The sound system was not a fraction as good as a couple of years ago. Also, I was appalled to see that MC was humping the dance instructor. I'm not a homophobic. Yet, it's not a good public display. Pretty good brunch food for a hidden cafe in side a hotel. The inside layout are spacious unlike other in the area. The servers here work with care and polite, handsome... Now we start to talk about the food. It been a long time since I have eat a full flavor, well seasoning canh bún ( not with the whole MSG bag in it), the broth was cook with love & savory, that normally with others restaurant I always asking for extra fermented shrimp sauce bc it was tasteless. Absolutely worst restaurant we've ever been to. We had a coupon and they wouldn't honor it and told us to come during lunch time. Spent over $100. We came during lunch the following time and the said they don't do lunch anymore. The food was mediocre and portions were small. They used chipped bowls and plastic utensils. The place is supposed to be swanky but the food and presentation is questionable. So expensive for such small portions. And the received multiple health food code violations. We are so disappointed about the service and the way itango treated the customers. We called in and made a reservation for six peoples. Our reservation was accepted. When we got to the restaurant, we met the receptionist who took our reservation. Instead of showing our reserved table, he asked us what do we drink tonight? We told him that we want to have some beers and food. He changed his attitude right away since he expected we would to order a bottle of Corden blue. Then He said that oh sorry there is a mistake. There was no available tables . We would like to send a message to the owner. Please give customers a freedom to order food or drink that they like. My friend recommended us going for lunch, it was pretty quiet at lunch time. I ordered the fish, number 27 from the men, it took a while to come but boy, it's flavorful, it is braised fish, so tender. I don't like rice but it's so good, I ate the last grain. I think I will bring other friends to go there too. They have a big screen and they have Vietnamese singer videos on it, as I am non Vietnamese , I couldn't care much of it. This review is for Tuan Canh Restaurant. They share the location with iTango until 4p. This restaurant only serves 3 items. We ordered all three items on the menu. Bún riêu cua đng - the broth is good and the shrimp paste not that smelly. My Mom, a 30 years home chef approved the dish. Bún ch Hà Ni - nothing special about this dish and wouldn't recommend it. Bún Ráng Cua B - meat wrapped with Vietnamese rice paper then fried like eggroll. Overall this is my first time trying this dish and I think this is similar to the vermicelli with fried eggroll that I have at other restaurants. Very oily though so if you are not a fan for oily food then avoid this dish. Reason I'm giving them 3 stars because we ordered 3 bowls of noodles but they forgot two. Turns out that live karoake is some old lady and her band. I wanted to sing "Penny Lover" from Lionel Richie and NO ONE knew that song!!!! It's a classic!!! It's Lionel Richie, the Commodores!!!! How are you in a band and singing live and performing and NOT know classics!!!??? It's like saying i don't know any Che Linh music!!! Very disappointed. The waiters came after us afterwards for the $30 corkage fee which we refuse to pay and to which I said to take it out of the 20% tips I put down. I like this spot. I can come hang out here after dinner or come for dinner and stay for the rest of the evening. The food is not bad, quite savory. I had the fried rice, seafood crystal noodles -all pretty good. Steam Sweet snail dipped in ginger sauce is good. My fav is the corn sautéed with dry baby shrimp, shallots, and their spicy sauce. You can munch on that all night with beer, vodka, or cordon bleu. Another simple but fantastic appetizer is the butter bread... So hot and crunchy, and could be eaten with any dish. It actually could substitute for rice and noodles. Now comes the entertainment... I have enjoyed Thursday night when the amateur singers came out to perform. And I catch some lucky night when real singers come out to play. I enjoyed both. I love listening to Vietnamese music and softs love songs. And if you're in the mood to dance, " get down girl, go head get down". And if you're too tipsy to drive, you can get a room there; in the same building, under the same roof. Enjoy!!! Beer is ridic, go with cocktails. $5 a beer, yet cocktails locked with high percentage are roughly $10. So go with a liquor mix to save money, if you must drink there. The singers have fun, the place is friendly and so you can definitely have fun. It's just the price of what is offered that bugs me. Security is great. Don't fret over safety, without putting you in a realm of naivety by saying that. Always watch out for yourself if in the parking lot, of course. But if you cry help, be very sure someone is ready to tackle whoever your problem might be. Not a place for people without an open mind to karaoke or people that don't speak the language. Came here with a group of friends . It's right inside the Ramada hotel on Garden Grove Blvd. They have Live music, so it's very loud, if you come here to talk , it's not the place for you.
